Why do you keep updating the phones and why do I have to have the update?? The latest one when the phone rings the hang up button is directly under the fingerprint to unlock it and I have to unlock it to answer so I hang up on EVERYONE! WTAF?? I loathe android since the last update. There's settings for everything except the location of the fingerprint or the hang up icon.

Google have made sure there is no place to review or leave comments about Android OS.
But to the point. The wifi is absolute garbage. If the connection drops it will not reconnect. You have to do it now (android 15) manually.
The UI is a big downgrade. It looks from the early 90s. I could not believe how ugly it is now. If you switch between apps it often clears the apps memory. This means if you are using YouTube or Facebook what you were watching at the time of the switch is gone now. This also means if you play a game it will reset your game. You may think its the device memory, but the device has 6GB or ram.
I really liked my last phone
I really liked my last phone, but an Android update came out and the installation failed. Seems pretty obvious that there should be some way to tell it NOT to keep trying over and over and over. You Break, We Fix couldn't fix it and neither could the tech at my provider. I ended up getting a different phone, which is slower and heavier. This shouldn't happen!
Loving the updates and smoothness from recent years.
I have been an Android user for quite some time and I believe a few years back the smoothness and innovation was somehow lacking, but recently I love what Google is doing with the Android environment and how smooth and user friendly the UX has become. Now my last phone lasted for about 4 years not because something happened to it, but because I wanted a newer phone and got a new one recently. I actually gifted my old phone to my mom and she´s loving it. I only changed the battery so it lasts almost 2 days for her. And mine is lasting 2 days and I´m a heavy user with games, videos and checking social media all day.
Would rate it a NEGATIVE 5 if could
I would rate it a NEGATIVE 5 if I could! :( First, let me preface my unhappy review with the fact that I have used Windows software for about 40 years and that has obviously colored my experience with Android devices. However, even without ever having seen or used any other operating system, I would find Android to be an unbearable nightmare. Where do I begin?
The first and obvious problem that everyone seems to hate as much as I do: The intolerable snooping and surveillance that Android does, cataloging our every move on the equipment that uses Android as its operating/surveillance system. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for the level of nosing around that Google does; I absolutely DETEST this about the OS. Even though I've hardened things as best I can, being a novice at dealing with such invasiveness, I RESENT deeply that it is even necessary; and I wonder why and how the whole world has allowed this sort of intrusion? I realize that COST of alternatives like Apple's OS is prohibitive; but the COST to our privacy and peace of mind is so high that spending more for a competitor's product seems the only smart route.
Next, being used to Windows OS, I expect and require a reasonable file system and directory so I can find things on Android devices (I am using both an Android cell phone and 2 tablets, all of which throw me into HBP (high blood pressure) because of their idiotic "logic"! Right along with this vague, arcane filing system is the heavy-handedness of Google or whoever wrote this software and decided they should have GODLIKE authority over everything that occurs on the device! The home page is a cluttered mess, even without installing any of the apps from Google Play Store. Dealing with the home page alone on all 3 devices is enough to cause eye pain and headaches. Not to mention the number of apps preinstalled and end-user is unable to uninstall! WHOSE device is this, anyway?
Why does Google/Android assume I want all this unneeded, potentially dangerous software on here, and why do they block me from disabling or deleting it? I will never use MiracastReceiver or, for that matter, Google's gmail or cloud services, etc. I've learned the hard way NOT to trust Google and to avoid them wherever humanly possible, so WHY does Android make it impossible to use the device without unwanted crud forced on us like this?
Google seems to think "convenience" is more vital to us than safety or privacy, which is a HUGE MISTAKE in my opinion. This whole wide-open internet culture is anathema as far as I'm concerned. I don't want my material "clouded" anywhere. I don't need "syncing" my devices. Yet Android gives no way to dump unwanted stuff!
My biggest complaint about Android is the Voice Typing feature, which is a hopelessly flawed joke! It doesn't even know enough to capitalize the initial word in every sentence! How dumb is that?! Pretty darned stupid. It also seems to have a dubious and possibly non-American English dictionary or vocabulary it uses, because it constantly misinterprets what I dictate and makes unwanted JOKES out of what I dictate! I have to assume that whoever/whatever wrote this Voice Typing is trying to use some flaky "artificial intelligence" to second-guess what I mean to say, because it is always revising my wording! Instead of simply LISTENING TO ACTUAL WORDS I DICTATE AND TRANSCRIBING THEM ACCURATELY, it will insert words or drop out words I dicate, according to its failed "logic." Nobody asked VT to figure out my meaning and "correct" things according to its flaky rationalization. All we ask for is that it LISTEN and transcribe EXACTLY what we dictate. Imagine if lawyers and doctors used this to dictate official documents/patient records (and believe me, they do!). I recall reading patient records from the doctor who attended a friend with cancer, and the records kept referring to the PATIENT as PATRICK! No excuse for such sloppy performance.
There are many other complaints I have about Android, but this is enough for now. Some of my complaints are due to poor design of the tablets and phone themselves, such as the easy way that things are unintentionally activated because there is no border around the screens that is not "active." If I had known how intrusive and downright dumb these Android devices are, I never would have invested in any of them. Now my big chore is to find some alternative phone and tablet that does NOT use Android and hopefully does not contain anything at all involving the odious Google!

Superdry® Arndale Manchester — A fabulous experience
I’ve just returned from Superdry® Manchester Arndale. I originally went in to buy three baseball tops and expected to spend around £120, having sourced them on the Superdry app — though I ended up spending closer to £600! The staff even removing items from displays to try and buy.
The atmosphere was excellent and relaxed, with very attentive staff — from the manager down — all being fantastic and incredibly helpful. Not only did they have everything I wanted in all sizes, they had so much more.
It’s been a few years since I visited a Superdry® store, and I had actually forgotten how fantastic the value for money is, paired with superb quality.
Some people on here have complained about the store being overstocked. I would disagree — that’s part of the fun of physically shopping in person: spending time browsing and discovering items you never expected to find.
The changing rooms were superb, and the whole store was clean, tidy, and vibrant — without the demeaning policy of only allowing a limited number of items into a fitting room.
Needless to say, I’ll be returning in the near future 🤗

My ratings are specifically based on…
My ratings are specifically based on tracking and spying that Android does on people. Android's partnership with Google is a problem. Kind of seems like a monopoly. I don't like that I cannot uninstall or disable certain apps that don't need the permission they require. I don't like that they make all games on Android follow certain tracking policies. Many parts about Android invasive permissions like Google. There is more but not writing it in.
Android 14 is a total pain
Android 14 is a total pain. Wish I could go back to previous operating system. Everyone morning when I switch on my phone, I get "WiFi Calling" at top of my apps. Not just square but double size. I can't get rid of it. It keeps coming back. And my timing clock appears on home screen despite my trying to delete it.
Android have imposed their preferences on my phone and I hate it. Looking to replace the lot with Linus or anything that keeps me in control.
Android's arrogance will be their undoing.
