Apple is not secure.

I am deeply disappointed with Apple. I have used iPhones exclusively for a long time, but since 2023, I have been suffering from a hacking intrusion. These individuals are able to view and manipulate my messages, my iPhone screen, and my phone calls. How do I know this? Because they mock me; when I am typing a message—without me even touching the screen—they delete what I write or type completely different things. During calls, I hear strange noises, sudden volume spikes, and even static. I have a theory that the people doing this to me actually work for Apple itself. I say this because I have visited Apple stores, and they tell me that everything appears to be functioning normally. Therefore, I believe this hacking is being carried out by employees within Apple. They should closely supervise every staff member—particularly those in customer service—since we entrust them with our email addresses and phone numbers. Furthermore, I suspect that many of the Latinos seeking refuge in this country—specifically those coming from El Salvador, Honduras, or Guatemala—are gang members who utilize these various methods to keep people hacked and to spy on them. I am leaving this one-star review because I am profoundly disappointed in Apple.

A company that I don't have any compaints about

Not s specific review of any one thing but I've had several really good experiences of Apple's customer service lately including, but not exclusively, in relation to the genius bar and customer service in store, a trade-in on my phone, and a refund of a subscription that I forgot to cancel (entirely my fault!). Thanks, Apple :)

Wrong advice was given case ID 102878516015

I called the support line after telling the lady on the phone my issue.here the case ID so someone can help her be of actual support in the future 102878516015
She told me I needed to reset my phone without telling me anything that would entail. She mentioned that’s the only way to fix the problem on my phone. I didn’t believe her so I went in the Apple Store and upon me handing them the phone they fixed the issue in 2 seconds.

Apple keeps pushing update after…

Apple keeps pushing update after update, and somehow every time there’s “not enough storage” unless you practically erase your whole phone just to install it. It’s ridiculous that a company this big still makes users jump through hoops to do a basic software update. No one should have to delete photos, apps, messages, and clear half their life off their phone just to keep their device secure and current.

The phones are expensive, storage upgrades cost extra, and then the system updates demand even more space. It feels like they create the problem and then sell the solution. Updates are supposed to improve the experience, not turn into a stressful cleanup project every few weeks.

Apple needs to fix how updates are handled, reduce temporary storage requirements, and stop punishing customers who paid premium prices for their devices.

I've had my New Apple 17 pro Max for…

I've had my New Apple 17 pro Max for around three months, just under three months and I have had nothing but trouble since day one
When I'm online, the cookies don't load, so the website won't open up fully to me. The voice text doesn't work, doesn't understand a word I say, ever, and when I write a long text, more than five or six lines, The text start jumping all over the place and I can't press send
To pay £1800 for Phone that you cannot hardly use is awful, I regret keeping it. I should havejust sent it back and stuck with my iPhone 14 that was perfect in every way, it was just a lot smaller than this one, that's why I've got a new one, I wanted a bigger phone.

I only purchased my first ever MacBook…

I only purchased my first ever MacBook Air ONLY because app developers add more features to their apps than on the Android platform. I HATE THAT. Android is a far superior OS and less frustrating to work with.

For 3 days know I've been in an endless loop to reset my AppleID password. I can't change it because I don't remember it and the passwords I only use for some reason Mac OS keeps saying incorrect. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT IT TAKES 4 DAYS TO GET AN ACCOUNT UNLOCKED!!! Google is two days and that's insane as well. Who the heck created this policy? Simple solution, get an AI agent that works 24/7 and is more intelligent than a human being and much faster to get tasks completed. Hopefully the new Apple CEO will do this. Ever since Steve Jobs died, the Apple Organization has gone right into the toilet. And another thing, F off with having an apple account and separate password for every service: AppleId, FaceTime, Itunes, FindMe and iMessage. Bloody ridiculous! And why does it take 4 days or more to reset accounts and why can't your L2 or L3 customer service agents have access to do it? Has no one in the organization thought of this? I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a device I can't use just because I'm locked out! At least I have my brand new Lenovo Yoga tablet using ANDROID 17 to use in the meantime.

MacBook Air 3 is good for daily use

Bought the MacBook Air 3 around March 12, 2026, mainly because I needed something light and reliable for daily work. And it's really good, super thin, easy to carry around, and build quality feels premium as expected. Performance is great for everyday tasks, browsing, documents, meetings, everything runs smoothly, no lag at all. Battery life is also really strong, I can go a full day without charging, and that really makes me happy after 3kg Lenovo laptops

But when you start pushing it with heavier apps or multitasking, it gets warm and performance isn’t as strong. Also still limited in ports, which is a bit annoying in daily use, sometimes it really winds me up. For the price, I expected a bit more flexibility, it should be cheaper, in my opinion. Still a great laptop, just not for heavy workloads

Apple charges for nothing

I have been charged two months in a row for an Apple subscription that I did not order or have. It took 3 different calls to actually get a person to talk to. The website said I was not eligible for a refund because I had not made a purchase!! No s#$t! That's why I want a refund!!! Then when I finally got to talk to an actual person, they said I couldn't get a refund for the first month because it had been 2 months, even though I contacted them last month!!!!! This company screws you out of money.

£478 watch, dead at 14 months, Apple won’t help

Apple Watch Series 10. Bought February 2025 for £478. Failed while swimming- the exact use case Apple markets it for (WR50 rated).
Won’t power on. Boot loops on the logo.
Apple’s response: out of warranty by 2 months, and bought in the UAE not the UK, so not their problem. £350 to repair.
Store staff were professional. The policy is the problem. A premium swim-rated watch shouldn’t die from swimming at 14 months - and Apple shouldn’t hide behind purchase location to dodge responsibility, especially when they’ll happily charge me to fix it.
Apple’s own support forums are full of identical failures across multiple Watch generations.

APPLE SUCKS. One only knows what one has bought when…

One only knows what one has bought when there is a PROBLEM. The problem is we bought a Brand New I Pad from Apple Store in Booragoon. This morning the I Pad decided not to accept charging so naturally get in the car Drive over to Booragoon.( Apple I Pads are known to have this problem that was never conveyed to us at point of purchase) Into the store, told the woman what the problem was instead of getting empathy, Have You Booked an Appointment or some people may not attend their appointment Come Back in 2 Hours? Seriously Apple knows there is a fault and one gets this response. Seriously Why Do Australian Put Up With This Crap. One paid good money for this IPAD & the least one expects If a known problem on the charging that should be a priority Alas No. But eventually an IPAD has to be replaced and guess who will NOT be getting the Business APPLE

One of the few tech companies I truly respect

One of the few tech companies I truly respect. Sure prices are high but the quality to price ratio is unmatched.

I get the concerns regarding a closed ecosystem. But realistically how would they make the (generally) flawless connection system that their devices have, work on all of the thousands of models of phones/tablets/headphones/laptops etc? That would be an impossible task.

MacBook Pro failed after 1 year and 7 months under normal use

I purchased a MacBook Pro expecting the level of quality and longevity Apple is known for, but after only 1 year and 7 months, the device developed a black screen issue while still powering on, indicating a display failure rather than a full system issue.

A technician assessed the device and confirmed there was no physical or liquid damage, which strongly suggests an internal hardware failure under normal use.

When I contacted Apple Support, I was informed that no refund or compensation could be offered because the device is outside the one-year warranty and the repair was completed through a third party.

I understand policy limitations, but this does not address the core concern: how does a premium laptop fail in under two years without damage?

I also did not have access to an Apple service center in my country, which meant I had no practical alternative for repair. Apple publicly states that its products are designed to be long lasting and tested for real-world use, yet when a clear premature failure occurs, there appears to be no accountability or willingness to review the situation beyond standard policy. This is not about warranty technicalities, but about product reliability and customer trust. I would appreciate Apple reviewing this case (102857369665) and addressing why such an early failure is considered acceptable for a device positioned as premium.

If you are considering purchasing a MacBook Pro, I would strongly encourage you to take this case into account, as it reflects how early hardware failures may be handled once the standard warranty period has passed.
