Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the service, citing issues with cell and internet connectivity, including frequent outages and speeds far below what was promised. Customers also frequently report problems with customer service, describing staff as unhelpful, providing misinformation, and difficult to communicate with, often leading to unresolved issues and frustration. The pricing and payment processes were also a major source of dissatisfaction, with many feeling overcharged, misled by promotional offers, and experiencing unexpected increases in their bills. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with individual staff members who were described as friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient in resolving specific technical issues or assisting with new service setups.

So disappointed at&t

So disappointed at&T. Went to the store on narccossee Road in Lake Nona. I needed to replace my screen protector. A few months ago I purchased a membership that allowed me to replace the screen protector for $10. I just had to come into the store play the $10 someone would apply for me and I would be on my way. I was informed today that that service is no longer offered that now I can either pay $50 for a new screen protector or I can download an app, join a membership and wait for screen protector to be delivered to me. Another reason to stop my AT&T services. Customer service is basic and simple. Treat your customer with respect let us know that we are valued. We are spending thousands of dollars on new iPhones, EarPods, computers, laptops, and you take something so simple and so easy away like it means nothing. When someone has a cracked screen protector it means everything. Very, very disappointed.

I have been an AT and T customer for…

I have been an AT and T customer for over 40 years. I have been a loyal customer for over 40 years, prior to when you started, prior to 1984 when you were "Ma Bell." You don't deserve my loyalty because you have repeatedly disappointed me. It's sad really, that you cannot appreciate genuine loyalty and love for a company...A company that was founded on principles dear to my heart...principles of hard work, perseverence and the persistance of the American Spirit. You don't deserve it because you have not earned it. I gave you 40 years. You gave me disappointment.

AT&T offered me a promotion on a New…

AT&T offered me a promotion on a New Phone in exchange for signing up for three more years of AT&T service. I signed a contract for this promotion and ordered the new phone. AT&T did not tell me who the shipper would be or give me any tracking information. UPS then claims it tried to do a delivery at my home, but I captured the delivery driver on the doorbell, coming to the door without a box in his hand without ringing the doorbell without knocking and simply putting a blank piece of UPS paper on my door, which fell off and blew into the bushes. I retrieve the piece of paper a day later scanned it to go to the website at UPS to see who was delivering a package. UPS did not provide this information. UPS did not give me an option to either call them or check a box saying that I would come sign for this package at a UPS location. UPS now only offers this as an option if you pay $240 for a 12 month contract. I notified AT&T that I didn’t receive my phone that I think it was the phone that was trying to be delivered via UPS and that AT&T never told me about the UPS issue. Ignored my calls did not try and intervene with UPS and the package was sent back to the shipper. AT&T then rights On My account page “ congratulations on receiving your new phone” and charge me $1399 and then wrote to me and said I am no longer eligible for 36 months for any special offers. I don’t have the phone I do have the bill. AT&T refuses to acknowledge their part in any of this. AT&T did not follow its procedures for dealing with shipping issues. The foreign AT&T Customer support people took over 40 hours of my time on the phone and refused to assist me in any meaningful way. They said I can re-order a new phone but I would have to pay $860 more. Their Customer Service meanwhile was absolutely the lowest quality that you can possibly imagine with foreigners, unable to even understand the smallest aspect of this issue.

Don't fool with Att

Hate Att they'll waste your time not even care. Did a trade they said you could return the phome in the store. Get a receipt drove to two stores today couldn't return the phone. A waste of my gas they take long enough to apply the credit. Up to three months why that is I don't know to long to me. As stated I wish I hadn't missed Tmobiles offer I'd be gone for sure from att. Makes no sense I couldn't return it in the store as they said I could do. Customers aren't valued here no matter how long you've been with them.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with AT&T.

I switched over under the impression that I was getting a “free phone with trade-in” promotion. Instead, due to an error by an AT&T representative, my account was set up incorrectly and I’ve been paying an additional $31/month without realizing it.

I only caught the issue after four months. When I contacted customer service and even the loyalty department, I was told nothing could be done because the credits had already been applied—despite the fact that the entire situation was caused by incorrect setup on their end.

This is not just frustrating—it’s misleading. I agreed to one promotion, but my billing reflects something completely different.

I’m now forced to escalate this further because AT&T has refused to take accountability or correct the issue.

If you’re considering switching, review your bill very carefully and don’t assume the promotion you’re told is what you’ll actually receive.

I hope someone from AT&T’s executive team steps in to resolve this properly.

DONT SWITCH TO AT&T FROM ANOTHER CARRIER!!!!

My family and I swiched from verizon to at&t cause it was cheaper, they told me they were going to pay off verizon devices when we switched (they had me give them verizon acct number so they can do that), but apparently, i was supposed to upload final verizon bill which salesmen, customer service or my local store did not tell me about and they give you 60 days to do (which why would i do if i knew nothing about it), so now its been past that time frame and now im stuck with a $4,000 verizon bill and at&t wont do nothing about it! Trust me, DONT switch to at&t from another carrier, its not worth it!!!!

AT&T is ripping off Sr's

AT&T used to have the best CS. It now is the worst! I switched to the Sr discount plan in March. My bill has continually increased. I found out the Sr plan isn't really a discount because you can't get other credits. It ends up its over $14 per month more. AT&T is the only service I have had. AT&T should be ashamed for ripping off Sr's

Shady and dishonest business practices

Shady and dishonest business practices. Purchased a phone upgrade to be picked up from a store. Went in to pick the phone up and was told to sign for the phone. I did and left. When I got home and checked my account they had changed my plan to a more expensive plan, added insurance to the phone, that I clearly opted out of on the order, and added AT&T next up without informing me or without authorization. Was told by customer service there was nothing they could do because my old plan was no longer available. I filed a complaint with the FCC and received a call from the office of At&T president who told me the same thing and refused to change my plan back. This is a very dishonest and deceitful way to do business. I have been with AT&T for over 25 years but will be shopping around to take my business else where.
