Awful App

Terrible service
Terrible service. To sell a car, you have to speak with the security team first. This is one of the most ridiculous requirements I've ever seen. The whole process is unnecessarily complicated and a complete waste of time. Instead of making it easy for legitimate sellers to list their vehicles, you're creating pointless obstacles. Very disappointing.
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. LIARS. I put in to sell my truck week after week. I received the best bid from everywhere week after week. Then I would go to "Schedule your inspection" and fill it out. I never ever heard back. I called the dealership and never heard back either. Do not do business with this company.
Absolute garbage website and services
Absolute garbage website, and they don't actually provide the services they say.
They're essentially just data collectors and sellers.
I recently brought my vehicle in for an oil change
I recently brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, and Mike Alwin made the entire process incredibly easy. From the moment I arrived, he was friendly, professional, and kept me updated every step of the way. He made sure everything was completed on time, answered all of my questions, and even reviewed upcoming maintenance recommendations without making me feel pressured. It’s refreshing to work with someone who genuinely values great customer service. Mike made what is usually a routine appointment a genuinely pleasant experience.
The service department
The service department was very rude and unprofessional. Mike Bertucci the service manager was very rude and unprofessional as far as I fill like trying to take advantage of me being an African American female and trying to run game on me about them offering me a damn oil change oppose to them honoring me with a credit or something for filling there loaner car gas tank up. I'm grown an not a kid its a way how you carry yourself an being professional. He needs coach and counseling skills on how he talks to an individual especially a female I'm not a kid an to be rude and disrespectful to me an keep throwing up giving me a fucken $90 oil change was nothing to me like he was really doing something for me. I had to leave and fill up my tank of gas after him trying to manipulate me and make me think I was getting a deal on them giving me a free oil change oppose to filling my tank up or even compensating me for the extra money I just spent on filling there loaner car up. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Also the loaner car the gave me was dirty and not clean along with them not even presenting my car to me with car was or anything after they had it for almost a fucken month!! I wouldn't recommend my do to them or anyone else for that matter I will be contacting Fox2 news and the better business bureau as well on how I was treated along with the civil rights committee!!! Facts 💯
What made my husband and I experience…
What made my husband and I experience so great was working with Eric T at Wellesley V.W. He answered all our questions. Never felt any pressure to purchase a car. After talking with him we did buy a Volkswagen Tiguan . We know if we have any further questions. He will always be available to help us. I feel comfortable recommending Eric T at Wellesley V.W. if you’re interested in buying a Volkswagen.

Asked for an Instant Offer to sell my car that was stated as a "real cash offer" only to find that the 2 dealers listed had no interest in my car at all. This is obviously a "come on" so don't trust their cash offers at all.
Deceptive: NJ State Auto Used Cars Jersey City
Unfortunately there are dealers that come off as deceptive for sure. I found more then one website that confirmed listed price of 18k for a 2020 mazda cx 5 which is the recommended value for car based on miles and after expressing interest in these cars, the dealer says. Is it going to send you numbers? And then they send you a price change of 5K difference, stating that the website had not updated. Meanwhile, the website still reflects the original listing price. This is false advertisement and very deceptive, and dealers like this should not be able to get buyers that come. And buy cars that are significantly priced at a value that the car is not worth. Save your time and go to a dealer. That's willing to not lie and be desective one dealership. I would not recommend in which case I have a very negative experience with is that of NJ State Auto Used Cars Jersey City, 406 Sip Ave. Jersey City, NJ 07306! I saw car listed for 18k and then 35 mind later it was changed to 23k! Stay away from dealerships like this.
The customer service was great
The customer service was great. Would recommend others in buying a vehicle at Trail231. The car we brought drives really smooth and shows was taken care of.
Extremely unsatisfied
Extremely unsatisfied. Potentially put my child and my grandson in harms way . Sold my daughter a 2020 Honda Accord with a cracked rim. This vehicle has obviously been in a wreck before , because apparently it doesn't come with a Carfax check and they want like 44,000 dollars for this car. Won't contact me back to let me know if they are willing to fix them mistakes cause believe me I have a list. Don't shop here it's at your own LIFE'S RISK.
Used Cars.com to purchase a car from…
I used Cars.com to locate and purchase a car from Gravity Autos Jacksonville. I would have thought Cars.com would used respected, honest car dealerships. Huge mistake read article… March 13,2026 I purchased a 2021 BMW convertible site unseen based on the honesty and transparency of a sales person and manager. I was told the car was a 10 out of 10 meaning in prefect condition. 12 days later after purchasing car it was finally delivered from Gravity. Within one hour of delivery I reported to Gravity paint damage on the car, scratches, missing paint and marks on the vehicle an antifreeze leak and oil leak. I was completely lied. I found out from a Gravity employee that the vehicle had set for months that he could not understand. The vehicle was never serviced. I had found out from a Gravity employee that entire staff had been recently replaced. I took the car to an auto repair company a few days after delivery, in addition to a major antifreeze leak there are two major oil leaks.15 days now, back and forth with Gravity’s managers and a the finance bank I still don’t have resolution even though Gravity has agreed to replace the vehicle but has failed to do so as of yet. I’m a 62 year old man, a Navy Vet who was lied to in order for me to purchase the car. If I would of taken the time to research all the social media reviews on Gravity I would of never purchased a vehicle from Gravity. Now I am having to seek legal help for a resolution for purchasing a vehicle that a manager and sales person at Gravity completely lied about to me. I understand why the FBI got involved with there business practices in August of 2025.
As others have said Car are NO way near…
As others have said Car are NO way near stated prices
A dealer in Texas (I am looking at a 2016 subaru ) stated a 16 K price For the mileage and features it was a good price
HIDDEN in then dealers fine print was a $3,699 FEE for Pre-processing Post- processing Tags etc
along with a SECOND disclaimer that the FEE did NOT include and Taxes Registration Tags ETC So the GOOD price went to a RIP OFF price
Cars.com does a good job of locating…
Cars.com does a good job of locating cars and sorting them by any meaningful parameter. The problem is that all of the advertised prices are greatly understated. The actual sales price (excluding tax, title and tags) is significantly higher (sometimes +20%) above advertised.
They sent us to a very unprofessional…
They sent us to a very unprofessional sketchy used car lot named 'CarLux'. There we discovered that 1) they don't even have the car we looked at, 2) they tried to bait and switch offering another worse vehicle (filthy and damaged with dead battery) for more money. Then they they tried to trick us with the 'Internet Price' which IMO is a total scam. Then they add on 15% 'dealer fee'. From what I saw you will pay A LOT more than what you see online for terrible service and dirty unloved cars they got from at auction in (salty roads) PA. No thanks.
My for sale by owner listing was never posted
Listed my 2005 GMC Sierra for sale by owner on Cars.com. I provided all required information to complete the listing. It has been marked as "submitted" for several days now (over the 72 hour time frame to post as stated by cars.com) My listing has still NOT been posted. Total waste of my time and effort trying to sell my vehicle with them. Will not recommend cars.com to anyone in the future..

I had heard the dealership went under new management. They had a really great looking staff. Everybody was friendly and helpful.
Beware of Lindsay Honda Columbus Ohio
I am an older senior in my 80s, and I purchased a 22K‑mile 2019 Chevrolet Equinox Premier AWD from Lindsay Honda as an out‑of‑state buyer. I paid their full advertised price with no haggling, trusting the vehicle matched the condition they represented online.
I relied on their advertisement, FaceTime walk‑around, and their claim in the advertisement that they invest an average of $1,800 refurbishing their higher‑end used cars.
After flying there from Florida and driving the vehicle home, I discovered numerous issues that clearly existed before the sale and were never disclosed. These included electrical problems with navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and USB charging; missing advertised items such as the Trailer Hitch Close‑Out Cover and hardware; and a Keyless Entry Keypad that could not be used because the required factory master code was not provided.
The vehicle was also delivered with Arroyo Grand Sport tires (the $85 Walmart‑type) on the front and very good quality OEM Hankook Kinergy GT tires on the rear. These two brands have different construction, quality levels, and published diameters, which do not meet AWD tire‑matching requirements and should never be installed together.
Contrary to their claim in the advertisement, the condition of the vehicle I received did not reflect the level of inspection or refurbishing they said was performed on their higher‑end used cars — especially disappointing after paying top dollar with no negotiation.
To bring the vehicle up to the condition it was advertised in, I had to spend $1,227.34 out of pocket. I contacted the dealership with full documentation but received no response.
I am sharing my experience so other seniors and out‑of‑state buyers can be aware and verify the true condition of a vehicle before purchasing.
