Great products on website and a great selection
Felt ripped off
The site was confusing to me with the different pricing structure. As someone who doesnt use credit under any circumstances, I was dismayed to be paying 25% more for a helmet because of it. To get the lower quoted price you had to take out some extended payment plan! This made me feel less of a customer, whilst also feeling ripped off. This has made me less inclined to shop with Evan's again.

Absolute crap
Absolute crap - no response to my enquiry - their branch doesn't answer the phone, nor responded meaningfully to my written enquiry. They promised to adress my complaint but I heard nothing more ... then they had the cheek to send a customer service survey. If this is what happens when you enquire about a bike - i.e. no response - then what happens if you buy a bike and something goes wrong? This put me off buying an otherwise well-reviewed bike.
Evans Cycles is a terrible company
Evans Cycles is a terrible company. Do not buy an electric bicycle from them. If it goes wrong they won't be able to fix it. The staff will say they are trying to contact the manufacturer but in reality your bicycle is just sitting on a bicycle rack gathering dust. They had my electric bicycle for 11 weeks and did not fix it. I had to scrap it and it still had its original brake pads on it!
Ordered a new electric bike
Ordered a new electric bike, delivery was fast and arrived before the expected date, which was good. Then it went downhill. Opened the box only to find the pedals were missing and the electric charger box was damaged, it looked like it was used. Valve cap missing on front tyre. Contacted customer support, replied quickly and attempted to send replacements. Only to send them to the wrong address. 10 days later and still no pedals. Bike will be getting sent back soon!!
Poor quality
Upon arrival the box was damaged.
When setting up the bike it was noted the seat was torn and the derailer was damaged leaving the bike inoperable

Wrong Helmet Arrived
I ordered the Specialized Evade 3 helmet in white. The wrong colour arrived, as well as the helmet being covered in dust and still had the security tag attached which I would be unable to remove at home. When I reached out to customer services I was told the white was no longer available. Really poor service overall.

This company does NOT accept cancellation of order. This company never gets back to you if you email, there is no number to call and the store manager says - its not his problem- avoid at all cost. I ordered online with delivery to Aberdeen store. Delivery was stated as 3-5 working days. Unfortunately once id placed the order the Delivery changed to 10days. I was leaving the UK in 6days. I immediately emailed customer support because unlike all other online companies Evans has no cancellation of orders. I wanted to cancel before it had been processed- no such luck. I emailed 4x to date ive never heard from them ex except for marketing junk. Eventually it was delivered to Aberdeen storre. I called the store and was told of i wanted them returned id have to collect them and then post them head office- totally obsured and also I couldnt because I wasn't in the UK. I asked how I could get a refund and was told id have to collect them. Ive lost £75 pounds which for a south african is a fortune. Evan cycles are dispecable. They exploit the Customer and are completely dishonest.
My Bike arrived faulty
My Bike arrived faulty. I'm currently contacting them to get this resolved. There support is very poor. There online messaging system is very glitchy and they constantly ask questions that have already been answered.
Brilliant service
What an absolutely fantastic company to deal with. Ordered an Endura helmet £180rrp. I paid £44! Ordered 8.30pm on the Wednesday and arrived 10am the following morning. I was kept up to date on the delivery process throughout. Brilliant. Take note TREDZ. This is how to deal with customers.
I am missing an ebike from my online…
I am missing an ebike from my online order. There is zero customer service. I called a store (who really tried to help me) to try and get a phone number - there isn’t one. The email portal on the website is not working, and even if you were able to send one they take a few days to get back to you. I currently do not know how to resolve this issue amounting to £1,000! I will never ever use or recommend Evans Cycles in the future.

Ran into an issue with a next day delivery that was out of their control. Evans customer support investigated this and resolved the issue by sending a replacement straight out. Great company to deal with, super-efficient customer service. Thanks.

Useless customer service
The website is extremely poor. No easy way to find a live chat.... it seems to be hidden, and only pops up randomly. Getting a live chat not a bot. was worse. After placing my order with correct postcode snd Road, I realised immediately after placing the order I had used an incorrect house name. There was no way to correct it, snd having started a live chat before 11 the next day, I was told this could NOT be changed. I therefore asked to cancel the order. I was advised this may not happen, and I should wait 72hrs and check with the live chat. I would never use Evans again. Terrible customer service.

Bike has been sitting in an Evri centre for days and no sign of it being delivered yet. Defo need to consider a different carrier.

Avoid at all costs. They delivered an item that was broken, and i didnt accept the delivery and now wont refund the money. I have just started legals theough the small claims court to try and get the money returned
