Account suspended for no reason- apply GDPR

Account permanently disabled for no reason, with no justification given, possibly as I was having trouble logging in having changed my email address. However, Facebook and Meta can't be bothered to allow responses to their emails. I tried an appeal, but it was immediately rejected probably by an AI, but still with no justification. Judge, Jury and Executioner comes to mind! They can't even be bothered to inform you of your supposed crime for a defence.

Interestingly, your email address, supposed crime and any block-listing using these is personal data and comes under GDPR and the Data Protection Act from EU law. This gives you rights to have your data: recoded fairly, corrected, or deleted, to be provided with what data they hold on you and automated decisions reviewed by a person etc. Perhaps it's time to enjoy enforcing your legal rights and giving them some headaches back? Enjoy!

The worst platform

The worst platform. Where you can complain about someone threatening you and they do not care. AI auto messages you some BS. They do not care to feed misinformation to any who will watch. They do not care if your kids see a video of a child beheaded. They do not care if you see a video of teenagers hurting theirselves for clout or commiting suicide on LIVE. They do not care. I refuse to keep an app that makes me and my information accessable to child molesters. My molester is banned from social media but able to make an account on Facebook and direct message me. This app does not feel safe to me or my information i have used on the platform.

Total Disrespect for Users to Put it Politely

Been using for over a decade and they randomly decide to ban some unlucky accounts.

Well figure this- For one of my past accounts, they locked it & said I'd need to submit an ID to get it running again & I complied. Then it displayed the message, "Thanks for submitting. We will respond within 48 hours whether or not your account will be reinstated or banned". The joke is, even today if I attempt to login (after years). the same message displays!!!

Zero respect for users in a hundred other cases.

A very mixed experience

For the purposes of Trustpilot, Facebook has an ongoing issue with their ad network being a magnet for con artists (some more sophisticated than others), and that they don't seem particularly bothered by it. There's also the matter of their AI-driven moderation, which rejects reports of scam ads in 30 seconds or less, and that their form to report an ad doesn't actually allow you to explain your case against the ad--it's just push buttons about "community guidelines". In spite of that, I do still get some value out of the platform and the communities I follow on it, taking necessary precautions (even though they sometimes let me down). Others have had different experiences, and those are also worth paying attention to.

Don’t remove fake and hate profiles

Someone is using my friends YouTube name (pretending to be him) then trolling me , my family and my mates . When reported by numerous people , Facebook says they aren’t breaking any guidelines even though it’s a clear hate and spreading misinformation profile to cause me and others harm . We have blocked it but that won’t stop others seeing it .. it needs to be closed down

NO REGARD FOR INDIVIDUAL SAFETY

NO REGARD FOR INDIVIDUAL SAFETY

I had someone saying borderline harassing comments (to myself and others) and steal photos of myself and my family so I reported them and blocked them. Facebook decided to then UNBLOCK then and let them keep my pictures and didn’t even update me on their decision! I’m not even allowed to lock my profile to prevent this from happening!

Guess Facebook has a habit of giving priorities to potential criminals.

Facebook’s Account Verification and Support System Is Failing Users

Facebook’s account enforcement system has become increasingly frustrating and unfair. Accounts are being disabled or restricted seemingly in bulk, often without a clear explanation, meaningful warning, or proper review process.

Even when users submit selfies, government-issued ID, and all requested verification documents, there is often no real human response. The so-called verification process feels completely automated, and appeals frequently result in the same generic decision without anyone actually reviewing the evidence.

It now appears that Meta relies even more heavily on AI systems to detect and remove accounts. Instead of improving safety, this seems to be causing more false suspensions, disabled profiles, locked business pages, and restricted advertising accounts. Legitimate users can lose years of photos, messages, contacts, groups, pages, and business assets overnight.

The biggest issue is the complete lack of accessible customer support. There is no reliable way to speak to a real person, explain the situation, correct a mistake, or receive a detailed reason for the restriction. Users are redirected through automated help pages, circular appeal forms, and generic emails that do not address their actual case.

Common complaints from users include:

Accounts disabled without a specific explanation
Appeals rejected automatically or ignored
IDs and selfies submitted repeatedly with no resolution
No human verification or meaningful review
AI making incorrect enforcement decisions
Locked Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Pages, and ad accounts at the same time
Loss of access to business pages, customers, advertising funds, and important data
No warning before permanent account removal
Vague accusations of “violating community standards” without evidence
No effective customer service for ordinary users
Long waiting times with no updates or communication
Repeated verification loops that never restore the account
Inconsistent enforcement, while clearly fake or scam accounts remain active
Facebook/Meta needs to provide transparent decisions, proper human review for identity verification and appeals, and real customer support. Automated tools can assist moderation, but they should not be the final authority when people’s personal accounts, businesses, and digital history are at stake.

My 18 year Facebook account was suddenly suspended, then ended for no good reason.

On June 28, 2026, after 18 years having my Facebook account, FB suspended, then ended my account after charging me with “child sexual exploitation” when I posted of the child sexual exploitation in the Epstein Files, that most others were also posting about. There was NO RECOURSE. There was no “Facebook Jail” for a finite period of time. And this happened right after FB had COMMENDED my account as one that they WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. Seems that they are very sensitive to and protective of the elites who may be involved, including the owner.

I had a highly rated seller account on…

I had a highly rated seller account on fb and was banned for posting a paintball dispensing machine and my account received an immediate ban for posting “firearms”. Despite multiple attempts to appeal, I never successfully got ahold of any humans & my account remains suspended. I wish I had known that fb can just pull the rug out from under you with no real case and will refuse to listen to your case under the guise of AI assistance. Please don’t use fb marketplace for selling. There are other companies you can use who will be glad to help you as a seller if you ever accidentally post anything against their guidelines. Just wish I could’ve avoided using fb marketplace at all & saved myself all the wasted time I spent on my highly rated seller account.

Orivelle Pens for fungal Nail advertised on Facebook/Meta

Orivelle pens are currently being advertised for sale on a Facebook/Meta advertisement. I placed an order & subsequently bought 3 Orivelle pens, buy 2 get 1 free. I paid with my credit card. The order was in the 3rd week of May. On 12th July I had an email from this company stating that they were sending 3 more pens & deducting a further £32.95. I emailed them immediately saying that I did not need any more pens as I had 3 already. They lied, said that my initial order was a Subscription Order. The pens had already been shipped, so I was too late to cancel. Numerous emails were sent to & from me with this company, but no apology and no refund. So I rang my bank & cancelled to prevent any further payments being taken. This company will not refund the further £32.95. So I have been scammed.
I have complained to Facebook/Meta & they have stated that the advertisement is in order.
The shipping address for this company is 153 Blakeney Way, CANNOCK WS11 8LD

Automated system destroyed my 6-year-old personal account and brand identity

As a Software Engineer, I am absolutely appalled by Facebook’s broken automated systems and nonexistent support. While working, I suddenly received a notice stating my personal account was suspended. I immediately followed their protocol and submitted a live camera face verification selfie. Instead of resolving the issue, their system permanently disabled my 6-year-old account without any human review or manual checking.
This is a severe blow to my digital identity. The unique username "mohtsham01" is my dedicated personal brand name across the entire internet. It is perfectly linked to my identity on every single platform:
Gmail: mohtsham01
Instagram: @mohtsham01
YouTube: @mohtsham01
TikTok: @mohtsham01
Snapchat: @mohtsham01
How can an established tech giant arbitrarily destroy a user's consistent URL sequence and digital presence over an automated glitch? Even after providing direct biometric face verification, the system failed. This application is unsafe for professionals who care about their online identity. I am completely wiping this platform from my devices and will never install it again. Utterly disappointing and garbage customer service.

This company has went down hill

This company has went down hill. Sold it's soul. I shall never dawn their page again. Ads are none stop and their censorship on what can be said borders on living in north Korea or china. Never again... Also it's full of bot accounts.. it's a dying breed of social media..so rip, gone and definitely forgotten.

Sadly facebook is full of scammers.
If you see something advertised and it looks like really good value, it it most likely a scam, and you will be ouit of pocket.
