Had to add oil and got no refund
Got a VW in Milan, car was OKish, but soon started warning it needs oil. I contacted the rental office and they kindly suggested to buy oil, find someone who would top it up and keep the receipt for refund. I've spent my time doing so, ok. Then the car asked to inflate the front left tyre, there was no pump in the car, ok I spent more time searching for a fuel station with a pump.
When I returned the car I was told they'll refund the oil price. It's been 10 days and no refund. Furthermore now they don't reply to my emails nicely, but instead they send me to some customer contact zone on their website. When it was their fault with oil they were so kind, and responded quickly. When it gets to a refund they're suddenly so strict.

Car was extremely dirty inside-out
Car was extremely dirty inside-out. They never bothered to clean it out. There was sand everywhere and SPF on the seats from previous users. Windscreen and windows were smudged with oily SPF hand prints. Pick-up and drop-off were easy, although at pick-up we were sent back to the terminal to fill in some paper that could have been filled at the pick-up office.

Almost brand a new car
Almost brand a new car , and reasonably priced , with no need for a deposit .
Pietro who we dealt with was very pleasant and friendly . When we returned the car I was expecting extra cost for dints or scratches that where there before , but they were very honest, and we had no problems . We would use them again .

The Fiat Gran Panda was brand…
The Fiat Gran Panda was brand new...only 4000 + Km on it and it functioned beautifully. Locauto staff was both courteous and helpful with the questions we had about the car. Pick up was easy and drop off easy, as well. However, I would like to make one recommendation that you ask to place a bigger sign for all RENTAL CAR RETURNS on the highway near the airport to help people find their way to you when then are returning their car--it was quite confusing and we spent about 20 minutes looking for the rental car return area.

Misinformation about the tolerance time for delays
We picked up the car from Milano Malpensa Airport and to deliver it at the Termini Station in Rome. The officer said us that the company has 2 hours of torelance for delays. In Rome, we arrived the office but that office was for only pick_ups. We searched the other office for an half hour. We were late and the officer there demanded a full day's fee from us for a minor delay, stating that they made no exceptions. Furthermore, he rudely accused me of lying and of not speaking proper English. I spent a long time trying to get through to the company's customer service representative. Ultimately, we were forced to pay the charge. Being both misinformed and accused of lying made for a terrible experience at the end of our vacation.
