Poor Service

I canceled my T-Mobile cell phone service on 3/10/26 after switching carriers, even though I had already paid for the entire month of March. I contacted T-Mobile via chat on the day of cancellation to request a partial refund for unused services. At first, the representative said I wouldn’t get a refund, but after I asked to file a complaint, they claimed a refund of $72.33 was initiated.
After waiting over a week with no refund, I called T-Mobile. The rep told me the refund would appear in the next billing cycle (4/7/26). On that date, not only was there still no refund, but I was also billed for Apple TV services I didn’t use—despite having my own Apple TV subscription.
Another rep said the refund could be issued via prepaid card or original payment, but my original card was canceled. I opted for an electronic check and provided my checking info, and was assured my balance would be taken care of. After another week, still no refund. I called again, and learned the electronic transfer had failed, yet no one contacted me about it. I provided my info again.
As of today, I still haven’t received a refund, and now have a balance due of $14.51. My latest call resulted in my refund request being denied. I’ve been told repeatedly I would get a refund, provided my bank info twice, and was assured my balance would be cleared. No one followed up, and I’ve had to reach out multiple times. I’ve requested documentation and have filed a formal complaint to resolve this.
Disappointing experience and poor customer service. Will never consider them as a future cell provider and will encourage those I know not to sign-up for their services.

A Corporate Disgrace: Systemic Fraud, Shadow Fees, and Censorship

As a 14-year telecom industry veteran, I am formally advising the public against utilizing T-Mobile, specifically the Times Square flagship location under the management of Nelson and Regional Director Ken Maira.
T-Mobile is currently under active federal and state investigation (FCC, FTC, CFPB, NYAG) for systemic consumer fraud. They are violating the NYC Cashless Ban and NY GBL § 349 by secretly charging unbanked and cash-paying customers an unadvertised $5 'shadow fee' just to pay their bills. When confronted with this UDAAP violation, regional management ignored a 48-hour fiduciary warning.
Furthermore, under the new CEO Srini Gopalan, T-Mobile is laying off hundreds of American workers to fund a monopolistic merger with Deutsche Telekom. When exposed on social media, T-Mobile’s PR department resorts to censoring and mass-reporting whistleblowers.
This company is operating with deceptive billing practices, zero corporate accountability, and extreme cowardice from its executive leadership. Protect your financial data, protect your generational wealth, and take your business to an honest, American-focused carrier.

Extremely poor customer service

In march, 2026, I canceled my account with T-Mobile. Since then, they have billed me for $52.85 in April and presently trying to billed me $50.01 May. I had to call my bank and put a stop payment on T-Mobile. Also, I have called them telling them I want them to reimburse me for the $52.85 that was taken out in April. Needless to say, they have made me wait for over 6 hours at this time for someone to call me back so I can verify who I am. I gave them all my information, pin number, phone number, number of phone they are charging me for and the special pin that they sent to my email.
Be aware that they are less than cooperative if you decide to change your service. They have very poor customer service and will try to discourage you as much as possible.

AT&T ported my number from Tmobile on…

AT&T ported my number from Tmobile on 13March2026. Tmobile provided a confirmation email and cancellation number. Trying to get RMA over the phone because Tmobile store refused to accept modem return with expired DL. THAT IS NOT A LAW. I can vote with expired DL as DL has correct information to date. Told to call support for RMA. Support said go to the store because they cannot help unless I provide a 6 digit pin. Store will not help. They gave me a different number to call. I called the number and spoke with Roseanna. Still being charged for Internet. Possible TMobile will charge me $370 for out dated modem if not returned within 45 days. As of today, April,23,2026 I have made 4 or 5 calls to various phone numbers and 3 trips to a Tmobile store attempting to return their modem with the same result. Even though I have cancellation number provided by Tmobile on 13March2026, I was billed $50 for another month of service plus $2.19 for phone service, both cancelled the same day. Referred to their TLife app? RIGHT, it goes into a never ending loop of email not correct, phone number not correct, create a new login for Tlife app. I now have 3 TLife logins and none of them work. Passwords incorrect, login id incorrect, phone number incorrect, email incorrect, unknown 6 digit pin not provided. No one at TMobile will help. And to top this off, my $105 monthly autopay hit my bank account for $125.07 in February, $115.07 in March and hit again for $52.17 on 15April2026. How am I suppose to stop them? On 16April2026 I got an email from TMobile Loyalty Program saying I was getting a new iphone 17 pro max for using tMobile confirmation number included. On 17April2026, received email from TMobile offering $35 a month internet PLUS a $100 gift card. 20April2026, I went for the last time to the TMobile store and was not helped, came home called their support number spoke with Ashley and was not helped. I am paying phone and internet bills for TMobile and AT&T. At 70 years of age I cannot afford this. They don't care and will not assist in resolving these issues. Who can help?

It used to be a good company until recently they started to make excuses to overcharge you. And for no reason extra charges were coming to me after I left them to another company. Yeah, figured.

Transition Sucks!

Fiber service went from North State then to Lumos, and finally T-Mobile. We decided to cancel our fiber in April 2026 and the experience was awful! T-Mobile stuck me with a surprise bill at the end which we feel was an FU bill for leaving their company! We were on automatic pay since 2018 and never missed a payment! Do not recommend this company at all. Beware.

WORST Internet Service in Every Way

I received a solicitation from T-Mobile for home internet service. Since I've been happy with their cell phone service, I reluctantly subscribed to the internet service with the promise of a $300 Mastercard rebate. I'm still waiting almost 6 months for that rebate. Customer service is useless.
The following issues with T-Mobile home internet service are consistent:
*wifi is spotty and weak
*it often goes out resulting in inability to work from home, submit class work or access assignments, watch tv or even use Alexa
*it's often impossible to reach customer service
*if you can eventually get a phone representative, they are unable to resolve any issues; don't waste your time following their troubleshooting instructions
*most of the time that the internet service is insufficient is due to Congestion on the tower; there are more customers Trying to use the service than t-mobile is capable of serving
*Do Not Waste Your Time and MONEY on T-Mobile home internet service. WORST EVER IN EVERY WAY

T Mobile is the worst customer service…

T Mobile is the worst customer service ever, speaking from experience they make you wait in call queues for hours for basic things and ask you to go to a Tmobile store for the smallest thing possible. I had the worst experience getting a new line at T mobile with an IPhone 17 pro. Franz and the other guy suggested the only number that is eligible to get an otp is the number I called them to activate.

Up until lately we've had a pretty good experience with T Mobile but recently (the last couple months) the internet has been spinning on our phones and then this week or tv will start buffering right in the middle of a show. Tonight we can't even connect our TV to the internet. Thinking about changing service providers.

T-Mobile Internet and phone service is…

T-Mobile Internet and phone service is really terrible. I don't know how they were rated top anything. It's so crazy that phones can cost almost the amount of a car note and have terrible service. I'm sure they don't care.

WOW! Great company!!

WOW!! Only been with T-Mobile now for six months, but I absolutely love them so far!
When I’ve needed to call them for anything, they answer the phone right away. They are super knowledgeable and friendly with no large upsell… I am just so happy with this company. It seems like every company I call for anything, there are long hold times anymore and then of course I get someone out of the country… wish I had known about their excellent customer service and prices a long time ago I’ve been getting gouged by Verizon for too many years…
Keep it up T-Mobile!!!

Tmobile is the WORST!!

I wanted to switch from Xfinity for internet services only so after seeing commercials and receiving mailers I decided to try Tmobile. I was told that I could try the service for 14 days for free and that my price would be $55 per month. Before I even received the equipment and after only 3 days I received a bill for $57.10. I decided to cancel the account two days later and once I received the equipment I returned it in its original box unopened and considered the matter closed. I received notification that the equipment was received but they are still charging the $57 and has even sent it to collections less than thirty days after my return.
Now, I know that many corporations are getting away with many things due to our capitalist system of doing business but this is the worst I have ever experienced. Not just because they believe I should pay for services I never received, clear and blatant deceptive sales practices, customer service that is allowed to be blatantly rude (hanging up, refusing to assist, and down right liars), sales people who know they are lying and on and on...what is the worst is the aggressive nature to support this outrageous behavior by basically trying to extort money from consumers by escalating to collections without due process or any attempt to resolve issues. Basically...stealing money by assuming that people will pay rather than fight a system that clearly is not in favor of the consumer. THIS IS UNAMERICAN...AND CLEARLY SUPPORTS THE COMMERCIALS BY VERIZON (NOT MUCH BETTER) THAT REVEALS TMOBILE FOR WHAT THEY ARE...AND DESPITE THE ADS AND MANY COMPLAINTS NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING TO STOP THE MADNESS!! It's clear that all of these companies have their dark side in order to gain wealth at the expense of others but Tmobile has taken it to a new level. So my advice is to fight against these practices to affect change but also if considering switching either stay with the evil you already have and are used to or do your homework and consider what evil you want to enter into your world (lesser of the evils).

I was with T-Mobile for over 5 years…

I was with T-Mobile for over 5 years and had auto-pay so was never late on a payment. At first their customer service ROCKED! Lately their customer service was terrible, you can't get a representative from the United States and the representatives are not helpful at all! Every time my wife went to Montana or Kansas she could not get service on her phone! Before we were with T-Mobile we were with Metro and always got service in Montana or Kansas. I switched from T-Mobile to Boost and now pay $15.00 per line and so far the service is GREAT! Before I switched a T-Mobile representative told me my final bill would be $5 and change. T-Mobile took $55.63 out of my account since I had auto pay!!!! Stay away from T-Mobile because they DO NOT have the best coverage, they lie and don't care about loyal customers! They are THIEVES!!!!!!!!@@@
