Tiffany @ selfridges London
Went to the store in selfridges London. Alain was superb and I can’t rate him highly enough for how he treated me and my daughter who only came for a repair. Went back to collect it this week and saw a different man in a muscle type top and the service was totally different. He didn’t even put his gloves on to touch my repaired jewellery. He was so rude and dismissive, the store general manage said he was shocked as this man has worked there for 4 years!!! You need some secret shoppers because this employee doesn’t fit your brand at all and we’ve visited stores in NYC and Birmingham and have never be treated like this. If you need to shop there see Alain, he used to work at Cartier.
I wish my wife would have checked the…
I wish my wife would have checked the reviews before buying an expensive bracelet there for me.
It turns, that i did not like it, there was a little few words behind, though we did not wear it, so they could have polish the bracelet and remove the words, minus some money that i would have been prepared easily to pay. Instead of this, they argued on a policy that they never gave to my wife. So at the end, there are 2 bracelets sleeping in our safe, nothing more that this brand deserves, one sure thing i wont ever to go them...wishing that this review will help a buyer to realise that nothing is expected from these people
Very disappointing...
Deeply disappointing! We have purchased several jewelry pieces from Tiffany over the year for its renowned design excellence, product quality and customer first focus. Not going ago, we purchased a Tiffany Soleste ruby ring with crusted diamonds at its flagship store in NYC. The sales experience was fantastic. After a few earrings, the ring started to lose its shape and one of the crusted diamonds fell out. We took it to our local Tiffany store and they offered to re-shape the ring and inspect the stones to ensure their placement integrity but could not comp the replacement of the missing crusted diamond. We accepted the offer and gave them the ring to send in for repairs. We soon received an email from their customer service dept. indicating the repair will cost several hundred dollars. We then called to inquired and was lectured by a rambling rep who said the issue is with the ring wearer's hand and not the ring, absolutely unbelievable. She further indicated the repair order is a "all or nothing" type and they cannot send it back unless it was repaired fully. We asked for local Tiffany rep for help but she was unable to. This experience gave us a new understanding of today's version of Tiffany and we too have a All of Nothing perspective that we will but nothing more from them...
Absolutely awful experience from start…
Absolutely awful experience from start to finish, unhelpful rude staff, no receipt emailed then excuses they couldn’t find purchase to replace receipt, after 2 wears and two weeks later the necklace broke . Had to again travel to store where they told me their jewellery has no warranty and I would have to pay for a repair of a faulty necklace, even suggesting I take it home and they would give me a box and I could pay to send it to their repair which I refused to do, had to argue for them to look into why this had happened to just break in half was very worrying, they sent it away to then message to say it would be £80 to repair and an extra £10 to return it to my address. They are an embarrassment of a company and I would never use them again, online is full of people having the same problem, though Tiffany staff deny and problems with quality which is laughable. Don’t waste your time, money or sanity because there is no quality in the goods or service
Refusal to take responsibility
I brought my bracelet in for service because the clasp repeatedly opened during normal wear. The issue was acknowledged and I paid to have the clasp repaired.
Unfortunately, within one week of that repair, the clasp failed again and the bracelet detached and was lost. Because the clasp failure caused the loss, the bracelet was obviously no longer available for inspection.
Despite the fact that the bracelet had just been serviced for the exact issue that ultimately caused it to fall off, the company’s position was that they could not determine what happened because the bracelet was no longer available to examine.
In other words, a clasp that had just been repaired failed almost immediately, but because the failure caused the bracelet to be lost, there is apparently no way to assess responsibility.
Interestingly, during the discussion I was also told that prolonged wear may compromise jewelry because I mentioned that I typically kept the bracelet on. This was somewhat surprising, as the bracelet had just been serviced and there was no indication at that time that normal, continuous wear would pose any issue. Are their pieces not meant to be worn?
I’m sharing this experience so others understand how situations involving recent repairs and product failures may be handled.
Extremely disappointed!
Poor quality product and poor customer service
And yet another bad review. Seems the Tiffany Brand isn't what it once was and I can only advise anyone thinking of buying an item from this company to look at all the reviews in order to make a truly informed decision. Poor quality product, poor customer service and a complete lack on interest in rectifying customer complaints. Just SHOCKING! Please don't waste your money on Tiffany's they are just not what they advertise to be.
Poor quality engraving - entitled customer service
I purchased a key ring in silver. The service was standoffish although polite, the security manager entitled, and when I got the key ring after having it engraved, the engraving, at over $200 was slanted and uneven. They offered to send it back but I was on a time crunch. No offer to send back with a refund of the engraving. Tiffany is a has been. Entitled, disappointing and I would never recommend.
Really nice quality and design
Really nice quality and design, just one star deducted because it is a bit overpriced in my opinion.
Not worth the price tag
I bought my daughter a silver necklace for almost $600 for her sweet 16th birthday. After a few months of wear, the silver has completely tarnished and looks black. Its awful and very disappointing considering how expensive it was. I inquired about a possible solution as I was very unhappy and I was told I could book in for a quote to have it looked at.
Tiffany does not live up to it's reputation
Appalling customer service from Tiffany, would never buy anything from them again ever! Absolutely no goodwill shown to a customer of many years. For me their reputation is as tarnished as the jewellery I received from them.
I’m truly disappointed
I’m truly disappointed. Charging customers to clean jewelry that was purchased at a luxury price point is unacceptable. Had I known this policy change was coming, I would not have purchased from them. James Avery continues to set the standard for quality and customer care. Tiffany has lost my trust.
Absolutely disgraceful.
Absolutely disgraceful.
I bought very expensive pearl earrings for my daughter’s 18th birthday. After only a couple of years of careful use, the post came away from the pearl. I have cheap costume jewellery that has lasted decades longer than this. Their response? Zero accountability and total indifference. Instead of repairing their shoddy workmanship, they had the audacity to demand almost £100 more.
Judging by the number of similar reviews, this is clearly a pattern: poor-quality jewellery, no care for loyal customers, and no sense of what is right or fair. I am now involving Trading Standards. Avoid this company unless you enjoy being ripped off.
Not the luxury brand it once was!
What has happened to this once luxury brand? My partner bought me the infinity bracelet for Christmas - it fell to bits on 27th Dec!! My first call to customer services was very positive, they apologised and agreed to replace, I sent back what remained of it and was told that they wouldnt replace it. After five increasingly frustrating phone calls I eventually got a refund which needless to say I wont be spending at Tiffany

I've been shopping at Tiffany for 20…
I've been shopping at Tiffany for 20 years. Recently I went to the DC location for resizing my engagement ring. The person that helped me acted like I was wasting her time. It was sent off and they told me it would be resized then they said I needed $300 in repairs to resize it. Another jeweler did it and it didn't need the repairs. This used to be a great shopping experience but it's gone way downhill. They say you have lifetime resizing but aside from when you first buy it and resize it, they likely won't do it again for free as promised and will find a way to charge you and say it's for "quality". If they didn't charge 3x what other jewelers do for repairs it wouldn't be bad.

Went here to buy a bracelet as a gift... However, their customer service is terrible; I wish they could improve how they treat and handle their customers in-store.
Lost lock bracelet
Bought a bracelet - lock from Tiffany in Yorkdale. I explained to them that I want a secure bracelet that does not fall off easily. I was assured that Tiffany bracelets never fall off however I just lost it Very very upsetting especially when it says on Their website to secure bracelets with another chain!!
Tiffany Singapore tut tut tut——-disgrace
Less than zero actually
Dear Tiffany & Co. Singapore Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my wife and I received during our recent visit to your Orchard Road boutique. Tiffany & Co. has always represented exceptional service and timeless elegance, which is why our experience stood out so sharply in contrast.
We have bought from Tiffany’s many times before in Singapore, UAE and London so we know what to expect and this was a very disappointing visit where I had intended to by my wife something special for our 22nd wedding anniversary which is today.
I was asked what my account/email was and when he could not find it it he just looked down his nose with utter disdain.
During our visit, the staff member who attended to us appeared dismissive and condescending, giving the impression that we were being judged rather than welcomed. Instead of the warm, attentive service one would expect from a brand of Tiffany’s stature, we felt as though we were being looked down upon. This left us uncomfortable and diminished the excitement we had for visiting your store.
We understand that luxury retail demands high standards, but those standards should apply to the quality of service as much as the products themselves. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of appearance or assumptions.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure that your team receives the guidance necessary to uphold the level of hospitality Tiffany & Co. is known for. We would appreciate knowing that this matter is being addressed so that future visits — for us and for others — reflect the brand’s values.
Worst experience that ruined what was intended as a sentimental gift
We bought a sliver necklace for our friend for her 50th birthday and after one day of wearing it the necklace turned green and caused her to break out into an itchy rash. We returned the gift and asked for a refund as she did not want another one or a different product based on the quality and the reaction to it. The store was not sympathetic they simply said this happens - I have never purchased quality silver and see this happen. Its disgraceful and poor quality service. The quality of Tiffany silver is terrible, their necklaces are thin and made from cheap silver yet they charge over $600. It was a hugely disappointing experience since we bought this as a gift and our friend had no other option but to choose another product as a gift from their store that she did not want. A disappointing customer experience that ruined a milestone birthday with a gift that was intended to be sentimental yet resulted in a bad experience that will be remembered instead. I will never shop here again.
