Not worth the frustration, stopping, starting freezing, worse than the RTE player, especially at night.
I signed up for TVPlayer.com because their T&C promised a one-week free trial before any charges and the ability to cancel anytime. However, despite canceling immediately, I was still charged. I'm not suggesting they intended to mislead, but I find their practice questionable. Additionally, canceling the subscription was awkward and not straightforward, though I managed eventually. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend TVPlayer.com. They didn’t provide a service to me, and their approach to subscription management felt deceitful.
I've tried to cancel my subscription but the "confirm unsubscription" button doesn't do anything, I'm getting the feeling of being scammed so kinda concerned
No longer free. It was a headache anyway. So uninstalled. Now using Freeview & Freevee. Freeview is so much better than TV Player as it has the same features plus more, which I didn't realise until TV Player went downhill and also became chargeable. So, thank you TV Player, you did me a favour. Freeview is a much better platform to use and COMPLETELY FREE! I would advise anyone to download it if you haven't already. You won't regret it
No more than 10 mins ago I subscribed to this service because it said that I can try it out for 7 days. I put in my info and immediately ten dollars was withdrawn from my account. I was not to be charged until after 7 days. It even says on the site that I will not be charged until after 7 days. After going through the site briefly, I noticed that most of these shows I can access via youtube, tubi, pluto, and a number of other free streaming services. The major beef that I have with this service is the immediate withdrawal from my bank account. When I went to cancel the service, I got an error message. Every other thing on this site works but the cancelation process. Interesting. I usually check trustpilot for information on sites but for some reason, today, I didn't. I just went in like an idiot. So since I can not cancel the service, I am going to cancel my debit card and get a new one because I am certain this company will charge me as long as they have my CC info. While this is gonna be a minor inconvenience for me, I'll get over it because this will save me money and a headache in the long run.
This has got to be the worst service out there,nothing at all worth watching,never heard of channels on there and they charge 6.99 a month just crap
When we first watched tv player we had access to all the basic channels. Now there is only channel 5 left of the terrestrial channels so really not worth bothering with. I would not join Premium on principle. They cannot be trusted to continue with channels so won’t bother.

Why are you still stealing my money??? having cancelled my subscription a long time ago I then find you are still taking £6.99 from my bank and on several occasions you've even been brazen enough to steal it twice in a month! My bank is dealing with it at their end. AND YES I have contacted your customer services in the past only to be completely ignored! Your plain as day thieves... don't bother responding to anymore unhappy customers here with 'Please contact us' as your only saying this to try a claw back some if any credibility. Disgusting company you need banning!
Terrible app and the worst value for money out there. Close this service down. Laughable.

Cancelled my subscription on 22 june 2021 after complaining that i can't use this service. Not only are TV player app still charging me, but they've doubled the charge each month. Nobody available to resolve this as emails go unanswered. Bank informed.
The company originally offered a tiered service of free, medium and high levels of streaming services that broadly matched what was available on Freeview, but has managed to lose a large proportion of this (including BBC2, ITV1-4, and all the Channel 4 variants), and is now reduced to offering a small number of channels on a subscription basis only. If it is around this time next year I will be very surprised.

Tv player, what tv? There are hardly any channels you can watch, unless you want to pay for them. Taking off all ITV and Channel 4 streams was the last straw. Even if you pay, which is obviously what they are going for, it’s horrendous,just errors everytime you watch something. Money grabbing ,that’s it

Was using this service on my Firestick in my bedroom as I cannot get the Freeview reception there. I've just cancelled my ongoing subscription as they stopped the ITV service on their app a month ago and now I can't even see TV PLAYER on my firestick at all. It was there but I guess its no longer available on the Firestick so has been deleted on my behalf? Like when they cancelled the ITV service I had no pre notification other than a message informing me to log into their website for important tv updates. Could have emailed me the bad news? So with no ITV coverage and not having it at all on my Firestick makes the service a redundant one. Finally the monthly fee of £6.99 is bloody expensive considering they are just a service that broadcasts Freeview that is obviously a free service.

Really disappointing that you took itv off, there’s now no possible way to watch live itv on Xbox.
I wouldn’t even mind paying a fee for itv live, you can get all your “premium” channels elsewhere. Theres really nothing special to tell this company apart from other streaming platforms without itv as you can watch every single other channel elsewhere.
I can see but the reviews I’m not the only one who thinks this, I hope the company will listen and fix this mistake.
