It doesn't matter what simple task I need to do with Verizon, it is impossible for them to complete it. Everything is automated by a retarded coder. Just trying to get autopay set up was unsuccessful.... See more

ENDLESS HOURS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE
The simplest issue takes hours to resolve..spend an hour with one rep who then transfers you to a different rep..nothing ever seems to get resolved. It took 2 days to get my new phone activated. Then it took days to try and get the gift card that was part of promotion..no matter if it chat, phone or in person..everything takes hours to resolve. If indeed it even gets resolved
Verizon worst customer service
I have a business account with Verizon. Worst customer service ever. They put you on hold for ever and transfer you from one department to another then after 1.5 hours I got disconnected. This happened twice in the same day. The issue was never resolved

Very Bad Customer service and when you do speak to someone they don't speak English well. Always making promises and never fulfilling. I asked about money they took from account and they avoided the question. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was promised an amount monthly for my new phone upgrade 45 days later they increased my amount because according to the Verizon Representative who sold me my phone didn't know the plan I am on disqualifies me. Bad business. They waited 45 days so I have no options of returning my phone back. They sure aren't honest now I'm stuck for 3 years with a higher monthly amount. This is like a scam. I was put on an extra phone line I didn't request They logged on to my account to add all the features they want without consent. That's so wrong. Deceiving sales person. I needed to add this review because I am still upset over this scam because that is what happened to me.
Believe what you read
Believe what you read. I can't believe our government won't regulate these scam wireless providers and Verizon is by far the worst I have seen them all!. Everything this company tells you get it in writing if they will even do it. Don't believe a word they say when it comes to money. Your bill will always equate to more than what is discussed. This company will not honor anything they say and they are notorious for leaving out critical pieces of their contract in which you cannot understand anyway. You are at the mercy of whatever they feel like charging. I highly recommend you move over to Tmobile of which I'm sorry I ever left. It won't be long and I will be back. Hope all is well Tmobile see you soon!
WORST COMPANY EVER
I had a very poor experience with Verizon involving major billing and order issues that were never properly resolved.
I contacted Verizon on 3/18/2026 to set up a new line and was given incorrect or incomplete information regarding my order and promotions. On 3/19/2026, I placed an order for two phones and a smartwatch, but the order was not handled correctly. The smartwatch was later cancelled, and I spent approximately 20 hours over multiple calls between 3/20–3/23 trying to fix ongoing issues caused by internal errors and inconsistent information from support representatives.
Due to continued problems, I ported my service out on 3/23/2026 and returned all devices. Verizon confirmed receipt of the returned equipment on 3/31/2026.
Despite this, I was later billed $2,083 and then sent to collections while the dispute was still unresolved and after device return had already been confirmed. I also filed an FCC complaint due to the unresolved billing issue.
At this point, I am still working to have the billing corrected and the collections issue resolved. The lack of consistent communication and failure to properly process returned equipment created a very frustrating and time-consuming experience.

I have tried to transfer 2 lines of service from my account to another for well over a month. My kids spent 2 hours in the store and I am on my 9th attempt calling to get this done. No one has helped me with this and have any clue how to help and have been hung up on multiple times.
NO CLUE HOW TO RESOLVE THIS OR GET TO SOMEONE WHO CAN 😡😡

I had a very disappointing experience with Verizon. Their customer service was extremely frustrating—they even hung up on me while I was trying to get help. On top of that, the pricing is not transparent. They promise a lower rate when you sign up, but the actual bill ends up being much higher than expected.
Overall, I would advise others to be very cautious before signing up. Make sure you fully understand the terms and watch your bill closely to avoid unexpected charges.

100% the WORST experience I've ever had. I needed to verify my account was disconnected after porting out my number and they refused to answer any questions or get me to a supervisor when I asked THREE TIMES. Never going back to Verizon. I don't care how good their service is in certain areas
Mr. Carl is Our Hero of The Day
Mr. Carl helped us to restore our lines today. He worked patiently and diligently. We are so thankful for his help.
horrible customer service
horrible customer service. Unprofessional. Every single one of them tell different information regarding issues. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON.
Verizon steals money
Verizon steals money.
I lmoved to an area where Verizon had no cell service. I contacted Verizon and asked if they could do anything, and got no response. I work from home, so having no cell service is not an option.
I cancelled my service 5 days after my first call and moved to another provider. I turned off auto pay, but Verizon won’t let you delete payment accounts.
Proceed to today, where Verizon processed a $2006 payment on “auto pay” (that I had shut off) and then couldn’t help me when I called customer service because I don’t have an active account. Make it make sense.
So now, I have a $20 stop charge from my bank to stop the charge. Overdraft charges for items that tried to come in for payment while Verizon was busy stealing money, and items that are unpaid because Verizon chose to fraudulently remove money from my account that they were no longer authorized to remove.
I was a customer for almost 20 years. I will never tell anyone to use Verizon after this experience. Thy don’t give a crap about anything but your money.
Absolutely worst choice you can make…
Absolutely worst choice you can make for home WiFi. I am a 20 year Verizon customer and changing all of my services. The home WiFi is horrendous and when you talk to AI to even get to a real person they could care less as long as you are making your monthly payments
Lake havasu stores take 9 million years
I bought a Verizon pay as you go SIM to switch all my contacts over and it has been an absolute disaster. Verizon somehow gave my number to someone else without even bothering to contact me or try to fix the situation. They just disconnected my service and handed full access of my number to another person like it meant nothing. How on earth can you give two people the same number It is beyond ridiculous and completely unacceptable
Trying to get help made it even worse. I went into the Verizon Store and it took hours just to be seen. There is no urgency at all from the staff and you just sit there waiting while somehow other people seem to come and go. It is frustrating and feels like nobody cares
Even something as simple as topping up your account is a nightmare. It is over complicated and takes way longer than it should. Nothing about this service is straightforward or customer friendly
Honestly this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I would tell anyone to stay well clear of Verizon because this is just not acceptable at all. Now none of my friends and people I do business can't contact me
If you open your door and they say, Hi, I'm with Verizon, my name is, Close the door Quickly!!
Sometime in October 2025, two salesmen knocked on my door. One was in training, which is sad to see this new empolyee being trained to " don't take no for an answer," mindset. I said I didn't want to switch To Verizon. They asked how much I paid for my service? I was told they could save me money, I was told that I was going to get a Free New Samsung S25 phone, I was told they could wave the set up fee, and again would save me money. When you're on a fixed income you really start to listen when someone says they're going to save you money. I was also told "Try it for a weeks and you can cancel and you can keep the phone" so I believed that. When I got my Phone it was an A16, not an S25. My January bill was almost $300, because I had to pay for the "Free Phone", is was $266, in February, $153 in March. I wanted to switch back to T-mobile, I asked If my service would be interrupted, I was told no. I asked again before we hung up I was told no the service would not be interrupted. When we got off the phone. I received a message that said if I changed my mind about the transfer I could call the 800 number they left. The next message said that they can't release my number until you pay the $188.00, plus any final payments. I tried to call them back, but they lock my phone service, The only calls I could make were Emergency situations. After 5 days of no phone service, I when to their chat bot, I was is a loop, over and over again. I asked for a live chat with a Supervisor, another loop. I started the process again and I finally got a person, I think. After repeating myself and explaining myself over and over and over again, we got "disconnected." I was just trying to say okay Please cancel my transfer, so that I have phone service, no results just ended up in another loop, over and over. Anyway, I am beyond stressed, frustrated, and angry, I'm really disappointed with the integrity, unprofessionalism of this company. They want there money and if you don't like the service or even Have the opportunity to use they're service it's too bad, so sad. You have to pay your bill or there goes you're credit. They should put that in their advertising so you know what you're getting. So I'm here day seven with no phone service and they could care less. My business requires me to make at least 20 calls a day, I can't even do my work! Debra Crenshaw, I don't have phone service so I can't leave my number.
Complete scumbags.
I'm reading all the one-star reviews, and the stories are exactly what I experienced. It took me 3 freaking hours just to gain access to my closed account that was still charging me $44 a month, even after canceling my account. I, too, was a 20-year customer with Verizon. Total scumbags, I've had less trouble dealing with my bank than all the hours of hoop-jumping they made me do just to gain access to my account.
Worst customer service ever.
Worst customer service ever.
Had a replacement device issued and never received return label for original device.
Constant reminders and automation to send original device back wish it was that easy to get in contact with a competent human being to issue a return label to avoid being charged.
The one person said they can mail the return label and it will take 5-10 business days which would put me at risk of being charged for the replacement.
They have been ripping me off for 3 yrs
I'm 69 and don't know how to maneuver around their billing so I had my daughter take a look for me. Come to find out they have been charging me 19.00 per month for protection on a phone for a line that doesn't have a phone, never had a phone as well as protection on my phone which I never agree to. They put a dummy line in because my son's line had an upgrade but I was using the upgrade. Watch your bills.
19 year Verizon customer leaves - why??
I was a 19 year loyal customer of Verizon Wireless until there was overwhelming evidence/experience that this company has changed for the horrible worst. Over a four month period of time speaking to over 10 different Level “2”staff, everyone simply “gas lighted” me making promises that they never kept. Loyalty discounts, and first responder discounts were promised and never delivered. I even went into two of their company owned stores to get help, but all they did was try to shift me into a different program thus voiding the program I have been grandfathered in for many years. In utter frustration, I took my business to T-Mobile and I’ve been happy ever since. I had my entire family with Verizon for 19 years spending over $350 a month. I told all my kids to get their own program and now my wife and I spend 60 bucks a month. It is so incredibly disheartening to see such a large company treat customers that way. The cherry on top is having been with friends recently who had also been with Verizon for over 20 years and they had the same similar experience of being lied to and not providing what was promised. I would never do business with this company ever again, even if they were free.
