VeryRareDVDs Just don't risk your money

After ordering Rock Band 3 on 15th July which cost £31.18 and waiting until 23rd
for it to be delivered . it came via Amazon, Dunferline
I have now received the wrong game.
This is Rock Band which cost £8.98 not Rock Band 3.
I have contated play.com for help and they were useless even after receiving a reply from Veryraredvds. which said my game was lost which is not the case they just sent the wrong game through amazon which said it was a gift from Mr David Bateman.
I have contacted amazon who tried to help but these people are using amazon to dropship items.

Twice i have contacted play.com and no help, when i get a reply from Veryraredvds their english is terrible.

Hi
This was a wrong invoice inside your item. Please return the item if you are not happy with it in its original seal condition. We are not be able to reduce the price of this.
Please let us know if you need a pre-pain envelop to return this item.

Thanks
Andea

its not the invoice its a cheaper game, i didn't say anything about the seal, didn't ask for the price to be reduced and what is a pre-pain envelop. this was for my sons birthday.
Play.com have said i can put a claim in on 29th.

All i want is my money back and if they think i will remove my feedback they can think again.

Are these sellers even legal????

does anyone have their address, they have told me to return a game to them before i get a refund but never send an address.

Today 29th July is the day Play.com have said they will escalate my case if Veryraredvds have not refunded my payment (will update if they do)
I have returned the game by SIGNED FOR delivery, it has been unopened.KF947345851GB. This cost £2.34. I will update if i ever get a refund
Your item with reference KF947345851GB was delivered from our SUNDERLAND Delivery Office on 29/07/14 .

Most Disreputable Seller of DVDs I've Dealt With

I ordered the DVD Ponette via playtrade on play.com from veryraredvds. Their advert said the DVD offered English - as subtitles or dubbing was not made clear. When the DVD arrived its advertising said French/Korean only though attached to the cellophane wrapping was a typed note from veryraredvds saying it would play in English. I unwrapped it and inserted it into the DVD and there was no screen indicating any English. When I contacted veryraredvds I received a reply 24 hours later from Andrea Lopez with instructions as to how to access English. Tried again but her instructions did not correspond with what was displayed on the screen. She then said she would send an SAE for me to return the DVD for a replacement that offered English. This took 2 weeks to arrive.

Meanwhile I contacted playtrade who forwarded my email to veryraredvds. By now I wanted a refund and nothing more to do with a company that had falsely advertised thr DVD and were not sending the promised SAE. The email I received from Andrea Lopez threatened withholding a refund because the DVD had been unwrapped. This in spite of her encouragement to unwrap it and try to access a menu that did not exist! I suspect this is their ploy to ensnare buyers of poor or wrongly advertised products so that they do not have to refund the item.

I contacted play.com again asking them to arbitrate. They were useless. I'm not buying from them again as play.com or playtrade and be warned - you're on your own when dealing with playtrade problems (as play.com they had been fine thus far).

All of this made me very stressed as I'm way too busy in my life to get involved in anything litigious involving about £15 worth of loss. So I posted negative feedback on play.com and left it at that. Btw I've kept the emails from veryraredvds.

Today (Friday 8th June2012) I received an email in the names of Andrea and Aidan Lopez asking me to remove my negative feedback for a free DVD! I am shocked and angered that they see fit to bribe posters into removing negative feedback. It's quite clear to me that they are poor business people and I will never do business with them again but to ask me to remove my warning to others for the price of a DVD without being concerned about their poor and, to my mind, unlawful practises is a step too far. So I've logged into this website which comes up as a hit for veryraredvds to warn others.

If you buy from them and the products OK then fine. If not then you're throwing your money away and why would you do that? I buy lots of DVDs - in the thousands - and will never use playtrade or veryraredvds again.

Internet research suggests they were banned from trading on ebay after their review level fell below the accepted standard. This all suggests an incompetent company who cannot offer anyhting near to decent customer service.

Extremely poor and shocking customer service!!!

I ordered my products from this company 30/3/2012. It was intended as a birthday gift. I got a confirmation stating 'Please allow 6-7 days delivery'. On 2/5/2012 I sent an email asking where the items were. They responded:
Hi
Thanks so much for the purchase.
Sorry for this mishap in delivery.
Your order has been shipped in time and should have been delivered to you. We will consider it lost by now and will send you a replacement and it should be with you soon. Sometimes orders go missing in the system or struck somewhere in Royal Mail Network.
Please confirm your full postal address for us to cross check with the address we have posted this DVD to for a replacement DVD to be send out.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Have a nice day.
Regards and best wishes
Andrea

I responded to them, confirming my order details and also delivery details. On 11/5/2012, I responded as follows (after not receiving anything):

Hi Andrea
Please note that I HAVE NOT RECEIVED the DVD's as promised by yourselves, per email below.
Please note that these are REPLACEMENT DVD's that you have sent to me, from a previous order that mysteriously disappeared.
As already explained, I find it unusual that two orders will go missing and now again two replacement orders. Is this normal customer services you provide.

I now request to see proof of postage from the initial order and also the second order. I also wish to launch an official complaint regarding this matter.
Should I not get the evidence from you that the orders have indeed been processed and also suitable compensation, I will be reporting you to trading standards.
I expect an answer from you today.

I received NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION but I did receive my money back!! No surprise they are not trading on Ebay any more!

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!

Poor copy that seemed home made

I ordered from these guys on Playtrade over Xmas and what i got was an awful service in return for my twenty odd quid.
The DVD was Korean to start off with they never mentioned that in the listing, It had subtitles that cannot be removed and then as i had opened it they refused me a refund!!!!
Awful customer service and awful company i would not tell anyone to use them and believe they should be banned from trading as they trade under false listings not telling you that items are not real UK stock terrible company.

Shockingly poor customer service and verypoordvd.

The DVD I recieved was of a shocking and unacceptable quality. It didn't even have a proper interactive menu. It was quite clearly copied from a VHS by some shoddy knock off mechant.
I returned it to them and they still didn't refund me they claimed they hadn't recieved it. Luckily I sent it to them through recorded mail so I know they got it. Still waiting on my refund as I type. I don't hold out much hope though. Save yourself time, hassle and money .. shop somewhere else. Also don't shop with them through Playtrade they were useless at helping me get my refund too.
