So many things wrong with this site I don't know where to start. Fake profiles, outdated profiles, computer generated age and location of subjects on this site, computer generated likes and views from subjects on this site. If I had wanted a fake, phoney, computer generated off of old profile and members site, I could have just saved my money and found something else. Ridiculous is the only word that I can say and never what I recommend this to anyone who seriously was looking to meet someone

I have noticed a serious degradation in the quality of people on Zoosk and lots of fakes profiles. Another pet peeve is fake likes

So it's turning out into a waste of time with 5% chance of getting a real date. There are more genuine women on SttDate.com
and a few other Europe-based sites. They are more honest. My search there gave better results: three dates and one woman with whom we clicked really well and started dating. So I cancelled my Zoosk membership. To be honest, it gave me absolutely nothing for the money I paid (or should I say "wasted"). I don't recommend it.

It USED to be one of the best dating sites available, but sadly like most these days, it's gone downhill 😔😢

Zoosk is one of the best dating sites available. It used to be much better though, I dated a Romanian woman on there once, so yes it is a genuine site! I also used to chat to a lot of women and obtain mobile 📱 phone numbers too, but as I said it hasn't been nowhere as good as it used to be. One of the things that really annoys me about Zoosk is, matches are never local! You get a match but they are usually 50 + miles away!? They should have fixed this issue by now! So 4 stars for the OLD Zoosk (2016) but NOW, I will give it 3.

I asked for a refund on my payment source, not meaning to get a refund from Zoosk, I sent them numerous emails about this, and they completely blocked my account and said that that’s their policy because of a mistake that I made, even though my intention wasn’t to receive a refund from them

AVOID ZOOSK AT ALL COSTS

To concur with what others have said, Zoosk is a total waste of time. And money. Maybe it is because I am so ugly, but no one ever responded to my messages. No matter what. It is an amusing diversion for a while, the game that you play while thumbing through the pictures is - would I date her? There are many "Yes I would"'s, but no responses. I can look in the mirror and see how ugly i am, I don't need this site to remind me AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have had numerous service failures

I have had numerous service failures, at least 25 where I lose a profile can’t respond to a profile can’t get it back and on top of that the service is awful. They send canned responses that have nothing to do with your issue. It’s very frustrating and it’s costly because I’m spending money for nothing. They need to clean up their act.

They say you can freeze your account so I went on vacation and froze my account. When I got back, they wanted to charge my credit card and when I told them that I was already charged for that month they ghosted me. My friends canceled her subscription in six months later I got charged again. Save money and go to a better dating site

This site is the worst

This site is the worst. Do not waste your money or time. No one responds. And the ones that do at least the men want to sext, or just disappear. I did meet one gentleman that was nice, went out a few times, but no chemistry. But 99 percent crap

It is a fraud!

I had a very bad experience with Zoosk. I believe many of the profiles are fake, and the platform does not properly verify users. I felt the system was unfair because men have to pay to use messaging, while women can use it for free. After raising concerns about this, my account was banned, even though I did not break any rules.

I paid AUD $170.99 for a one-year subscription to give Zoosk a proper try. After a few months, I realised it was a waste of time and money. Many profiles had no photos or real names and were just listed as “Zoosk Member.” This makes it hard to know who is real. Other dating sites at least require a photo and a name.

Most of the matches shown to me were older than what I was looking for, and many profiles did not match my preferences. I also could not adjust the settings properly to change the age range I wanted to see. The advertising made Zoosk sound much better than it really is. Overall, I regret paying for this service and would not recommend it.

Waste of Time & Money for Young Men, Australia

Waste of time and money for young men in Australia. 2 older male friends recommended Zoosk so gave it a try. One is divorced with adult children, and gets regular dates in AUS. The other is American and met his wife and got married, but was not doing well in life and settled for what he could get. I'm a successful young professional and in a good place in life. I keep fit and in shape. I’m ready to date or even marry and settle down. I thought this would be a great and modern way to meet people. It is NOT!

I paid AUD $170.99 with PayPal for 1 year subscription to give it a serious try. It is setup for auto renewal fee so you have to cancel it early. It was not easy to navigate or find. You should not have to worry about such things. It’s like a scam. Wish I didn't pay for that long. After a few months I knew it was a waste of time and money. The app system works by you making a profile. There’s no fail safes. Members can make an account with no profile pic or name so they leave it as default “Zoosk Member”. They don't even bother to put a name. Shows how crap this app is and the people on it. Ridiculous and waste of time. Other dating sites require a photo and a basic name, heck many use a nick name or fake alias. You can like a members profile and then message them. You get notified if another member views, likes, or messages your profile. It's a simple, slow and old system which is not good for anyone. Only a handful of young women replied. A few old and young viewed my profile in the first few months. No actual meet ups or dates. Get use to many fake profiles along the way. I regularly report and blocked them. I think these online platforms actually makes fake profiles to keep you interested and paying subscription fees. Other young male friends have the same experience and feedback.

The best woman who replied was interstate and we built a friendship. Phone called with audio and video, and texted. She also shared similar notes of members being too old for her and not happy with the platform. Just friends and too far away so I decided to move on from her. Similar pattern with other dating apps. In comparison I've had better success on Tinder. Again wastes a lot of time but at least I had responses and occasional date once a year on the free version. Most on Zoosk were older women in late 30's and 40+. Many divorced with kids. That's too old for me right now and not what I'm looking for. Why I mentioned 2 older mates had good luck with it. Maybe better for men in their 50's+ and or already divorced.

After some heavy research approximately 9% or less of the population is online dating. It’s hard to gauge as it’s often private and personal. This is a very small amount of people online dating and a majority are men. Ratio of 10 men to 1 woman. With that massive difference it's very hard for men online dating. The women on these apps are very picky and look down on men. Often playing games with so many guys messaging and lining up. They waste your time just for attention or playing you to get material things like free drinks, meals and gifts. That said Zoosk had less scammers, but less real responses too. You are qualifying them, not the other way around. Don't waste your time and money on them. Don't believe all the advertising and marketing hype and lies. These dating platforms are trying to sell their product and get your money. Save your time, energy, and money.

You would be better off spending your hard earned money on actual relationship training or personal development. Books, courses, etc. Seriously you'll get more out of it and have better relationship and interpersonal skills. And of course going out and actually meeting people in your area. I made the effort to try meet people both day and night. Paid for a coffee, soda, or venue entry fee. Often not fancy and daily life stuff. I met more people in 1 month than 1 year on Zoosk! I quit drinking alcohol but went out to a club. I ordered a soda and met a gorgeous women at the bar. She was also sober and noticed me “Hey you’re not drinking? Neither am I”. We hit it off. Great conversation, smiling laughing and flirting all night. She just broke up with her ex-boyfriend because he was heavy into drugs and wasn’t ready for another boyfriend yet. Still a great first date. It cost me the club entry fee and a soda. I never would have met her on Zoosk or any other dating app. A good attractive woman is not using these dating apps. You must get out and meet them in real life.

A waste of my time and money

A waste of my time and money. 90% of the guys on here are just looking for someone who lives close by so that they can get a quicky. Not one of them are genuinely prepared to go the extra mile to meet a decent woman. Don't waste your money.
