Extortion, plain and simple...

I understand that some people need these things...and I was one of them for a brief moment. However, $195 charge for borrowing $900 for less than 14 days is...well...unconscionable. To make matters worse, I tried to pay it off after 3 days (I ended up not needing it afterall)...and they would not waive or even discount this fee. I get it...I agreed to it...blah blah blah. It's still extortion. Now, those who "refinance" and incur even more fees for a 7 to 14 day extension to repay?? My god. That said...Ace is no worse than other payday lenders, and their staff is very friendly (the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1).

It was my 1st time getting a cash loan online, and I found Ace Express to be easy to work with. I would diffently use them again. I was Happy with there service, the only thing they could change is there fee's.. kind of High..

So far so good

A bit on the pricey side, but reliable. It has been good working with this company so far. They have been, after all, a lifesaver.

Ace Cash Express is hassle free and professional. Their rates are par with other big-name companies and you won't be taken advantage of with hidden fees. You also will not receive a bunch of unnecessary spam or phone calls from them.

Don't listen well

When I applied they wouldn't let me select the right date I when I got paid. So I called and arranged to pay back on the correct date and not the date they set. Well they didn't listen and took the money anyway. Yeah it's a lifesaver but if they aren't willing to correct something an follow through with that correction they just mess people up even more. I almost didn't make it with them just not listening.

Stress free and efficient

Ace has taken the humiliation out of needing an advance and they provide the best customer service. They have made it so easy that I almost dont think twice about getting an advance. The system works and even the initial "interview" over the phone with your bank is done with dignity. I will NEVER use another company for a paycheck advance.

This company is great!

I have gotten a couple of loans with this company. The ability to refinance the loan and pay it off a little at a time is great. I would recommend them to everyone who needs a loan.

They made it happen and did so while being friendly

I had been scouring the Internet for HOURS looking for a payday loan, receiving one rejection after another. I was seriously about to shut the computer down and forget about the whole thing when suddenly I came across Ace's site; I was instantly approved. Even though it was the middle of the night there were professional people at ACE working who spoke to me; ALL the employees were very professional towards me and very friendly. This did not require any faxing on my part of proof of income or having to fax bank statements because they verify everything for you with your bank, etc. My only complaint would be that even though tehy said I wouldf have the money the next day at the time of approval, I didn't get the money for one extra day so it took 2 days instead of one day to get the money. Everything else was a great experience with ACE and I will be back.

Financial assistance without giving your autobiography

I give your company a A+ for your assistance when needed. A fee discount, small visa or eatery card would be good for customers like myself who has been with your company for a while and referred you. Also te installment loans would com in handy for some of us. Other than those few suggestions keep up the good work.

Satisfied Customer with one request

I am very happy with the service that I have received from Ace Cash Express with one exception, It would be greatly appreciated to receive a discount after you paid back 3-5 loans. Off of the interest fee or a greater reward would be a gift card to a place or for what ever you wanted to use it for like a visa or master gift card or some type of service.

ACE Cash Express is there for you in your time of need. Right now I'm not getting all of my hours at work so therefore, I can rely on Ace Cash Express to fill the holes that I'm facing. It's easy, fast, and dependable. If you have never used a payday loan go with Ace Cash Express you will not be disappointed. I would'nt state this if it were'nt true. You can trust Ace Cash Express. They have a professional staff available at their offices and online. Don't be afraid because you feel that this is a company you can't trust you can take it from me I searched online for 2 weeks before I made my decesion and Ace Cash Express met all of my needs. So, with that being said give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Borderline harassment.

It's a convenient way to get cash on a fly but calling me every single day 2 to 3 times per day to "Remind" me of my upcoming payment is not the way to conduct business. It's a neucence and an inconvenience.

Lifesaver!

I started using Ace's online site about six months ago and have never had any problems whatsoever. Their system is very convenient and easy to use. The payments are deducted automatically from my account and they've always been on time -- never early or late. I have no complaints and would recommend this service to anyone.

I cleared a previous loan & after one month returned to borrow some money to meet my budget shortfall. I was approved within 24 hours hussle free. I was impressed.

Ace is a place, but should have promotions.

You are a good company being able to get approved right away and you have good customer service, but it would be nice especially during the economy times we are facing to have good discounts that you would give to your current and potential customers a break.

I would fully reccomend Ace to anyone. All fees and the repayment terms are given up front and in an "easy to understand" format. Reminder emails and phone calls are placed so your payment does not sneek up on you!

Thanks for the help, but at what cost.

We took out a $200 loan before Christmas so we could get some family a few gifts. Yes, the loan was convenient and easy, but the cost is outrageous. The first payment has a $60 fee, plus about $19 service charge. With each payment the fee got less, but still steep. Honestly, even with some of the risky customers they service the costs are still excessive.

Returning Customers Need Love Too :-)

ACE has been my relief during desperate time, I LOVE THEM! However, with that being said, I agree that there should be some incentives for return clients. Some credit card and auto finance companies offer lower interest rates with showed loyalty and timeliness, why not do the same? I am obviously OK with the interest rates or else I would not return and have recommended ACE to several people but again, a little loyalty love would be nice. Merry Christmas!

Surprised with the greatness of ACE

I have never taken out a payday loan, or anything of the sort. I was in a bind one day, and had remembered passing a bunch of the stores on the way home so I decided to log on to the website to see what it was about. I filled out an application, they called me to verify information, and she told me the money would be in my account the next business day. I asked her if I could stop by one of the stores to get cash and she said that would be okay - and that is what I did. For payments, they took my agreed payment amount from my account on my paydays. They always sent me a reminder via e-mail and a receipt after the payment. I never had a problem as the customer service was great and the correct amount was deducted from my account as I authorized. I would use them again if I needed to, and I would recommend.

BEWARE, Watch the fine print

I was recommended to use ACE primarily for the convenience of the money being direct deposited in your account. This was an initial positive and therefore I have had a number of loans at which now I have paid off and I am sure I could return if I wanted. HOWEVER, watch the fine print. My last experience was a deal breaker because I initially took out the loan with the options of selecting my current pay days. The options are simple numbers 1 "thru" LAST DAY. Oh course I am paid once a month - the LAST DAY. Sounds simple.

I took the loan out in September , with assumed due dates of September 30th, and October 31st because that reflects the last day of the month (for October). THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. Of course I was advised that in the fine print, the loan will draw on October 30th which is one day prior to my pay day - at which it cleared BUT I was assessed fines from my bank.

Its hard to understand how an individual like myself can come to ACE to get money (because I lack it) and end up paying all the fees PLUS NSFs to my bank.

If the last day is not an option in those months that have 31 days, let the requestor know.

Because of this, I will not return. And I have had at least 3 or 4 other loans with consistent pay off.

Give us a reason to return

I have used ace alot. I had gotten in a bind when I had to pay my own tuition this semester and wanted extra money for a trip and so on. I have used ace several times but for returning customers, we do not get any incentive, especially when they charge more. There are other companys, Advance America, National Payday, Ameriloan and Speedy cash that do not charge 10 dollars more. For instance A 200 loan cost 260.96 but with the other companys its a straight 250. After this last loan is paid, if I am ever in a bind, I will go somewhere else that is cheaper and gives incentives for returning customers.

They've been good but can do better by giving discounts to returning customers.

I've been a good customer for the past year and they've been good with depositing the funds in your bank account on time. They could be a lot better if they give discounts to loyal returning customers.

Ok but could be better.

I applied and received a loan I paid it back on time when I went to apply for another loan I was declined how could I qualify for a loan 1 week and I could not qualify for another 3 weeks later.

ACE always takes care of me with a smile :)

Ace really helped me throughout my divorce...I was barred from opening my own bank account, so I got a free prepaid debit card account at Ace Cash express. I was able to use it for direct deposit, pay bills and more. Thanks to Ace and their helpful staff for helping me in a jam!

My financial life savers.

Ace has always been there when I need them their fees could be lower but they are within reason. I can do nothing but give them a thumbs up. Now they need to start that installment loan in Ohio as I could really use one.

I have taken out multiple installment loans with Ace in the the past and have always paid them back either on time or early. Imagine my surprise to have them not approve me for the amount I needed during the holidays because of so called policy changes!!! I am a loyal, dependable and repeat customer THERE should be your policy! Ruined Christmas!!!

Poor service initially but Julio addressed my concerns. Very satisfied

Update: Julio from ace contacted me & assured me that they were on top of this & that they would do everything possible to make sure this never happened again. Because of his great service I'm changing my score from 1 star to 5. Here is the complaint reported: i set up a loan online & the website said that my payment would be due on a certain date. come to find out it was 2 weeks earlier. this wasnt the first time this happened so i asked to speak with a manager. at first the rep wouldnt transfer me until i asked her if she was refusing to transfer me. she told me to call back & put in a extension & i could speak to her. I did & when she answered she was already telling me that they couldnt help me. bottom line is that when you set up a loan online there is a date but thats not the real date. to find the real date you have to sift through the paperwork. Very shady & they truly disgust me. I've been using ace since 2006 & I really dont see the point. I've never been late & usually pay off either the 1st or 2nd check. The customer service was some of the worst i've experienced & i am looking for another company to do business with.

Very Helpful and reliable

Ace is very helpful and reliable. They will work with you with your needs, and are very flexible. I have used them several times and know that my info is in good hands with them. There are many scams online with loans, but Ace is not one of them. The are well known, trusted, and have stores all over the place. I did my loan all online, and had the money in the bank the very next morning.
I would give them 10 stars if I could.
