I had placed an order for a dress with a Shaw for a wedding. I also paid extra to have it delivered quick this was for a wedding. I received the package only the Shaw came with it. The dress was missing. I called Avenue. The guy gave me a hard time. Wanted me to pay $125 again to have the dress re-ordered it was avenues fault that the order was messed up in the first place now they wanted me to go out of my way to go return the Shaw now I’m waiting for my refund. I just received an email. They want to pay me half of my refund, not the whole refund now I have to waste my time and call customer service again and now I have to wait for my refund longer. I will never be ordering from Avenue again and I will make sure to let everyone know to never order from Avenue ever this was the worst experience ever customer service also not good. No thanks

Now they are charging a 10.99 fee for returns if you dont take a gift card. I purchased items and they were not the same in person that were represented on line.

I used to buy most or all of my clothing here, but the quality has also gone down and it is more expensive. Jessica London is the same. I am saddened. I did call and told them and I got - well it is a new policy.

Dreadful company and products. Ad for Izzy sunhat says it’s rollable and packable but when it arrives the care instructions tell you absolutely not to do that - hat must be kept unrolled and crown packed before placing in a suitcase. Exactly what I didn’t want. They also don’t tell you that it’s coming from Australia and that if you want to return it you have to pay for postage yourself (£44 from the UK was the cheapest I could find). Almost makes it not worthwhile to return - but I’m going to anyway. Any refund on this useless hat is better than none.

Do not buy from this company do not give them your credit card they are beyond criminal and fraudulent. I placed an order I had to return two pieces of the order followed all the instructions could not get a return code email them over and over and over again made it clear wanted it back to my original payment made it clear in three or four emails to apply it back to my original payment finally after threatening them with legal action I got the code we turn the items they send me an email saying they're going to send me an e-gift card. I emailed and explaining they had two hours to get a credit to my credit card and then I made a dispute on my credit card regarding their fraudulent activity.

Their clothing is cheaply made and often at least 2 sizes larger than stated.

They have also been charging me 16.95 a month, I just found it, and for the life of me I can't figure out what for. They signed me up for a subscription that I didn't agree too, her no benefit from, and is imposing to cancel.

I went on Avenue to look at bras and it said "your order has qualified for free shipping" click here, so I did. When I went to check out my 4 bras I used paypal-- which went to paypal and then purchased the order WITHOUT going back to the Avenue to review it. Turns out they charged me $25 for shipping 4 bras ($107 dollar order). Regular 1 week shipping. I never would have agreed to this! I called customer service and they state that the order is in process and they can't cancel it. Even though it has not been 24 hours. They can't refund the shipping because there was no free shipping code put in. The confirmation email states that I again get free shipping with this order but when I click on it, it is trying to sell me a rewards program for 16.99 a month! This all seems very purposefully misleading. I will never again spend any money on any of their brands. I advise you to be very careful when purchasing on this site or avoid it completely.

Of the 7 shoes I ordered (all the same size) 3 were too narrow. One had a weird booger on the front. The kicker is, I went to return the 3 only to discover that 1 had to be randomly shipped back a different way--and of course I have to pay for that, they don't give you a label--and also that unless I took store credit, they were deducting $ from my return. How is that even legal? NEVER buying from them again, I don't care if they're the only business on the planet that makes my size in the future.

Wow. Their customer service is beyond rude. They were sarcastic and unprofessional in their emails and said, "Just send it back to the address on the label." How would you know it's from me if you don't send some sort of receipt I can include with it? None was sent. Took WEEKS to arrive, yes they are overseas. When I said I felt they were being unprofessional, "No we weren't..." Just so aggravated with the lack of decency.

I made the mistake of purchasing something from The Avenue in January 2026. It didn't fit. To my surprise I was only able to get a store credit. I set it aside, Eventually found something to buy in March as unsubscribed from my account.

I'd heard about the "Membership Rewards" program in other reviews and I was careful to deselect checkboxes auto enrolling me in a program (or so I thought). It turns out that when I made my last purchase I must have missed another checkbox because they billed me. My credit card company alerted me to a charge by FBB*AVENUE REWARD – Indianapolis, IN.

I called The Avenue and they would not refund me the charge. The said I was "notified." Guess what—you aren't notified if you unsubscribed from email! They canceled my account but they did not refund the charge. Tell your friends avoid this place

They are stealing peoples money, they don’t warn customers of their return policy of stealing the customer’s money, they need to do a full refund or at least just keep half of the shipment money!

I bought a pair of boots for my elderly mother. I paid $61.96 total. We bought the size mom usually wears but the boots we received were way too wide. I contacted avenue to start a return. Had to pay for the shipping back and when I received my refund it was for $36.99.
Buyer beware- they have a bunch of fees if you need to return an item.

Order arrived within a few days of placing it. However, buyer be ware, you have to pay for your own return postage back to AUSTRALIA. There are off shore companies that do business in the US, and the standard that I am used to, is that you get to ship back to a warehouse in the US for a nominal fee.

I placed an order online with them and after seeing no progress on the status of the order I called to cancel the order. The order was not shipped. They insisted it could not be cancelled. So they are forcing me to pay the outrageous freight cost as well as the return freight cost. I asked to escalate the call - no luck. Asked for a credit for freight - nope. Asked for them to send the return label now so I didn't have to call back - nope. Because they can't issue a return label when the order has not shipped yet. Absolute robbery.

I wish I could leave zero stars. They offer clothing that is priced around $25 and then the charge suddenly jumps to $45 as soon as you run it through PayPal. Shipping and handling should not be anywhere near that expensive, and it is a hidden and predatory style of charging.

Also when I clicked "pay", there was no receipt coming up so that I could have proof of the original charge or what exactly was ordered on what day.

I would not buy from them until they change their predatory behavior.

Got an email from my bank saying a change was made to Avenue on my card. (I get one every time my card is charged).
Wasn't my purchase. Called Avenue, they refused to do anything about it.
Luckily my bank will.

I’ve been shopping with them for over 20 years, maybe longer. I’ve always been plus sized and it’s been very difficult for me to find shoes that are comfortable and fit. The avenue has always been my go to place for shoes.

Over the years there prices have gone up dramatically and It saddens me to say this, but their quality has fallen off. The shoes run smaller now and I’m going a width up and a size up and they are still too small. My foot is the same length it has been all my life. So my foot should not be hanging off the back or sides of the shoe. That’s the issue for me the bottom base of the shoes are not plus size, which is unfair for those that are plus size.

These guys are shady. I ordered a gift from my wife and it did not fit, so I returned the item minus the stocking fee which I expected. However shortly after that I started to see fees on my card for some reward program for 16.95 per month which I never agreed to. Checked on my card and these are manually entered in by someone at their firm without your authorization. They hope they can slide it through without you noticing their underhanded trick. Do not buy from them. I contacted my credit card and told them I never authorized payments for any reward program. I purchased a coat for my wife which did not fit and returned for less the value. I told my wife never buy from them again, they have been billing me all this time and I did not know. So they have been reported and I called the service desk and ask that they put back what they have taken and to erase my information from their records. I will be watching them and will report their shady busy tactics.

I placed an ordered on Jan 24th 2026, it said 5-7 business days. Here it is Feb 18th 2026 and still not here. I have called 3 times, the last person just told me its a shipping issues and if its not here by tomorrow to call for a refund. But also said if it comes in a week or 2 they will recharge my card, which i don't think is fair. If they can't communicate with their shipping people that's not my fault and it should be their lose, sorry not sorry. I have ordered several things in the past and when the store was available to shop at. Very disappointed in this transaction

$24.95 for shipping is outrageous
Plus I was not charged that fee untill after I had went thru PayPal to pay
On top of that I get an email I can get the shipping fee back... but then they sneakily enroll you in the rewards program. Turns out rewards will be $16.95 montly to get free shipping. Will not recommend doing business with avenue
