Stay away

I changed my bank account to Barclays as I was under the impression that they were a good bank - why was I so wrong, I have had nothing but problems with them from day one when the money being transfered from my old account to Barclays was lost by barclays was only about 10,000 so what they hell, got it back but incurred late payment fees as my DD did not go through, spent 8hrs in a branch because Barclay card instisted that I had recieved a cash advance of £1500 - when I had not, took 8hrs over 2 days to sort out in the branch - complained as did the branch manager - no response, had money taken from my debit card without my ok - Barclays took it back - then returned it to the other person saying I did not respond in the 10 working days window, I replyied in 7 days, was then told it was not my money anyway and was hung up on , agan complained - letters back and forth - nothing.

Tried to pay my barclay card one day early with my Business debit card only to be told that I cant as the card was not registered at my home address,, had a text today saying my card payment was late - called them and guess what they can take the payment today - so I have late payment fees and damage to my credit rating all because the person I spoke to on the 26th of April was a fool, person I spoke to said he will get someone to call me within 48hrs - bet they dont
For my sanity i MUST close this account
