I've been working with Coinify for 9 years and have always been satisfied. Fast and consistently accurate service, and the support has always been quick and competent.

If you want to lose your money then use coinify. i wanted to make a transfer even besides their HUGE comissions, handling fêes and worst rate in the market, they kept my money for more than a week without sending me any crypto or giving me updates, they required exxtra KYC which I complied to. then silent, wouuld not give more updates. then they say they reject the transfer and will start a refund on their side, not without charging me 20 EURO "handling fee" because they want. THIEVES. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

*** UPDATE: 5 days passed since this initial review was posted, 7 days payment delay, for a payment received in their end 2 weeks ago! Last answer from support was yesterday morning, saying "From our side there's nothing pending, it should be processed until the end of the day". Nothing was received, nothing was sent, and support tickets from today were ignored. USE COINIFY ONLY IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY AT ALL! ***

From the moment a payment was received on their end they just treat it like it's theirs. They might send it, they might keep it, all depends on their good will. No responsibility what so ever, their client is the last in line.

Same with their support. No phone, no way to contact except email, they might answer, they might not... they might take a day or two, they might take a week, they might take two weeks....

Use them only if you really don't care about your money and willing to wait for it forever, with no one to even talk to.

I sent money to wrong wallet, but they refunded everything and all good - overall good experience

The process was very fast, intuitive and seamless, with safety and security features.
However, the fees are extremely expensive.

I accidentally sent 10 USDT instead of TON to a Coinify address (Payment ID: 9f72254e-e581-4311-a9bb-1a90877389ae). Support confirmed they have the funds but refuse to refund, citing a 20 EUR processing fee.

Let’s break down their "costs" for a transaction on the TON network:

"Network-related costs": A transfer on TON costs roughly 0.05 TON ($0.30). Claiming "network costs" justify a 20 EUR fee is a blatant lie.

"Manual processing": They claim it's a "complex recovery." In reality, USDT is a native Jetton on TON. It’s the same address. If your system can't automate a refund for a confirmed asset, your tech stack is obsolete.

The Result: Since my 10 USDT is "below 20 EUR," Coinify simply keeps the money.

This is a business model built on retaining customer funds through arbitrary fee thresholds. They have the money, they confirm they have it, but they choose to pocket it because "manual clicking" apparently costs them 20 EUR.

Avoid this processor if you value your funds.

Scammers. They give you a 15 minute window to make a BTC payment, but it’s not just for sending it, it also has to be confirmed within those 15 minutes, which is completely unrealistic for Bitcoin.

It gets worse. If your payment doesn’t confirm in time, they send you a “refund” link. Sounds good right? Except they charge a fixed €20 (about $23) “processing fee” to get your own money back. Not even a percentage, just a flat fee.

Absolutely shameless.

Well, you are "not aware" of any fraud, despite me contacting you several times, adding proof - for reference, my contact person was Tania - and Swiss police starting an investigation against you? So seemingly you are not only tolerating it, but also lying and profiting from it

Nice payment, but could a bit faster.

They add about 2-4% to the cost and when you try to adjust it the payment fails, they refund it, and you must pay again. They also ask for unnecessary KYC data. Not everyone is in the EU and I don't understand why they want this information when other payment gateways don't. I'd avoid them at all costs especially if you value your privacy or money.

I appriciated the verification process. I know I had transfered the money from a new account.
I also appriciated that I got prompt answers to my mail.

Used this service to purchace Hytale, However it took much longer to use then anticipated due to almost all QR codes not working as intended, the first QR code i was met with had the correct wallet but asked for the 32bit integer limit in ETH, the second QR code i tried was the wallet connect code, that was detected correctly but refused to connect, The last QR code, that was just the wallet address worked fine, though i did need to manually copypaste the ammount.

Once that hiccup was over, everything went fine and my purchace went through.

Was going to rate 3 stars, but this feels like a once off technical bug, my experience may not be the norm.

Note: I am using 'Unstopable Wallet' from fdroid, which is unsupported by Coinify.
