The two men who came to install for us were extremely professional, neat, and fast. The company estimated our installation time to be between 2-3 hours, but our installation crew only took an hour or less! Not only did they explain everything throughout the process, but when they showed me how they did the cables outside of my house, I was extremely impressed! They made it almost unnoticeable! It was so neatly installed and looked so professional! Even my mom, who was a Direct TV customer at my aunt's house when she lived there (she now lives with us) was super impressed because her guys didn't do the job these guys did! Please give them a special bonus or acknowledgement and extend our gratitude to them for us! So happy to have had them service us!
I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience with directv from the time I began the process through installation and my calls for help. The initial contact person was knowledgeable about all products and services and spent ample time explaining everything for me. Together we picked out a package that best met my needs. The person who installed my equipment was professional and took the time to answer our questions after installation was complete. I absolutely love the picture quality of the high def. I can't wait to get my last piece of equipment so I can enjoy on demand. The genie is great! Service and price with directv is so much better than cable.
I dealt with a man named Kenny. He went truly above and beyond to help me make the right decision for my family's needs. He was very personable and at the same time very professsional. He didn't pressure me into upgrading or signing on RIGHT NOW. He actually helped me make a good financial decision in purchasing what I did. I asked him what he would do if he were trying to make the decisions I was and I could hear the honesty in him because he didn't shoot out an answer, he thought about it for a moment. He answered my MANY questions without an irritation in his voice. The call last awhile but it didn't seem that way because of his pleasant nature. I myself am in customer service and can appreciate the quality service I received from Kenny!
The representative was very nice and patient with my questions, but there was so much that she had to read to me after each step that it was tiring just trying to keep up. I know it's her job to sell me all that she can, but I kept asking if there was a monthly charge for the genie and she talked so fast about adding tv's for free and HD ect, that I nearly ended up spending $30 more than I want to or can afford. I know it's not unique to your company, because I got the same thing, from the companies that I didn't choose, but it would be wonderful if a person could go on line and choose their options, find out the price, have everything in black and white and sign up. I read wonderful comments about the quality of DirectTV and I do appreciate that you have an on-line channel line-up so I could compare the packages.
I guess my installation was cancelled but no one had the gall to tell me. So ordering two weeks early did me no good!! Then calling all over 9 different numbers and no one I talked to had a clue what to do but give me another number to call!! Seriously? This is customer service? Still no remedy. I'm thinking of getting my hardware credit and just going with insight!!
I can't believe DirecTV claims they have better service than other providers. What a bunch of nonsense. Ordered service yesterday and noticed the confirmation email today didn't reflect what I was promised on the phone. Called in and they were very rude and unwilling to fix the situation. They couldn't get me to a supervisor, they couldn't transfer me to the individual I made the order with. They couldn't give me the services that were promised on the call. They made me wait on hold for ludicrous amounts of time and then came back with nothing. I've never been so humiliated. I'm actually a telecoms broker and they would rather have me drive all my customers to dish than resolve the issue I was having. Just ridiculous!!!
I have to say, I have been a loyal customer to Verizon Fios for the past year. The reason I switched to Verizon was because I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced with Comcast. I work in the customer service/hospitality industry and Comcast's customer service was so bad that I was willing to pay more money a month because of it. I did look into utilizing Direct TV a couple of times in the last few years but could not because the buildings I was living in were not adaptable to the Direct TV requirements. After fighting tooth and nail over the last few days with Comcast, I finally called Direct TV and spoke to the most lovely person. She was very patient, not pushy, and were honest. Those are huge qualities that people like myself look for when trying to set up something like this. I could have not asked for better customer service. This agent's name is Saskia and her Agent # is 11210. Please offer her my many personal thanks and please recognize her for as she is a very valuable asset to your company.
I was talking with my neighbor about his Direct tv when a technician arrived to do some repairs. He asked if I was interested in switching to Direct tv and I told him I was thinking about it, so he gave me a coupon for a $100,00 Visa card if I switched. I called the number he told me and ordered the program package I wanted, then mailed in the coupon.When I did not receive the card I called and was told I called the wrong number when I ordered my package so I was not eligible for the Visa card.I think this is wrong that I should be denied the card after following what one of their employees instructed me to do.
I would highly recommend that anyone who is unsatisfied with their cable provider switch to Directv. You won't be disappointed.
After dealing with TWC for all these years and never getting the satisfaction that one should get with customer service, technical support or equipment reliability, and with prices continuing to rise for less services and never getting a response as to "why" that makes any sense, I finally have had enough of this MONOPOLY!!!
I called, on a whim, in response to a Best Buy email highlighting a "DIRECTTV" partnership that included the satellite, DVR, wireless high speed internet and phone service that we are already receiving from TWC for an ABSURD price.
Once I told the Rep. what I have, what I was paying and what I wanted, he was more appalled than I was. He answered all my questions without sugar coating anything or embellishing any of their services. He spelled everything out - brief, concise and to the point - in as honest a manner as I've ever been served. Every question I asked had a thoughtful and truthful answer.
I truly look forward to our DIRECTTV installation and our long relationship with a company that is more interested in knowing what customer service and satisfaction means and not only the importance of the BOTTOM LINE!
well what a blessing in disguise, i was going to change from verizon to direct tv for the cost issues, however, after getting direct tv ordered and i was calling verizon to cancel my service they worked with me and got me a deal less than 100 a month for tv, phone and internet so it was necessary to cancel my new order with direct tv they had no issuses and i got the better deal. whoo whoo thanks direct tv.
The lady I spoke to, I forget her name, was great. You could tell that she really enjoyed her job and was very detailed oriented about each package. She made me feel completely comfortable and didn't rush me into anything. But make a long story short, she was hands down, awesome. I'm sorry that I forget her name but I recall she was from Florida and now Im gonna enjoy my NFL Sunday Ticket. If she treats every single person like this, I imagine she does, she completely deserves a raise or promotion.
I just got an email from you after calling you earlier, I didn't order any service as you had said, I called to complain about not getting referral from friends! Which by the way, you should tell your customers if they ask to call Direct Tv. which I thought was who I was calling in the first place. This is very misleading! I told Direct Tv the same thing. You should honor everything direct tv honors, and the referral isn't one of them.. Shame on you! And shame on Direct TV!

I found setting up a new account with DirecTV extremely easy. The sales rep was excellent. She knew her products and was very thorough in her presentation. I was very impressed and very pleased the whole presentation. I think I will be very happy with my choice of using DirecTV .
I have to say both the sales were very patient and very helpful in this transaction. And the installer who came called ahead of his time to be there and was on time and very informative and cooperative. I have never had such great quality of services as this. All i have to say is thank you to all involved in this transaction and i hope this help future customers to know this was a great experience.
I am satisfied with the way that the sale representative handled my call. However, the complex charges didn't make me feel of getting the best offer. E.g. On-line sign-up offer was different from over-the-phone. The equipment rental might be more expensive than purchasing it in a 2-year term.
Mr. Kendall Simmons came on time and greeted me with the utmost respect. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond his job with customer satisfaction. Direct TV is very lucky to have him as an employee.
I was lucky that Jeremy took my call when I ordered my service. He explained everything I needed to know, clearly and plainly, as he welcomed me back after a long hiatus. I'd had Directv many, many years ago, and was sorry that the other services weren't up to the challenge. I don't wish to put other services down, but I've always thought highly of Directv's attitude towards the customer, and the overall excellence of their service. I will again be an advocate for helping to promote this service over all others I've tried, "hands down".
I have always had troubles with Comcast- who I usually used over the years. They never help you, never listen, and never let you speak to anyone- and when you finally do- they hardly speak english. It is very hard to get service from them and they eat away all your money. Direct TV helped me right away. I tried to get service connected from Comcast for almost 2 weeks and nothing was accomplished. Direct TV set everything up for me in less than 30 minutes!!!!!!! They even have someone coming to my house to set up in two days notice! It is cheaper than comcast, a better deal, and they offered me great discounts. The two year contract is actually a good thing- because you can take it with you if you move. Direct TV is awesome. No waiting on the phone, no feeling like your money is being taken away from you, no attitude. I love these guys and I cannot wait to become a life long loyal customer. THANKS DIRECT TV!!!!
The agents who assisted my via phone were so friendly and helpful! The last agent I spoke to knew I was in a hurry to place my order because I was on my break at work and needed to get back, so he did an amazing job of not only providing excellent service, but doing it quickly and efficiently so that I could be done with the phone call and on my way. Thank you so much to the representatives I spoke to; they were so courteous and professional! Please give them recognition for their service!!
I could writw about the woman who helped me forever, but, instead I will just say that I had a great experience and was helped to get the oackage that best served me and my family. We are excited to start watching our TV's with the best technology in the Cabke market!

After researching the options I found DIRECTV's prices and technology to be ahead of the rest. The customer service rep was very helpful and informative, which is rare these days. I have never been a DIRECTV customer but from what I have experienced thus far, I expect I will be very pleased with the service. I will be telling friends and family about the experience and great price.
