We booked one of the Northern Lights tour packages in March 2011 to Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs. The tour were very well organized with some rustic but very nice accommodation, a wonderful and scenic train ride and outstanding Northern Lights viewing. Would definitely recommend the company.
Choosing Anchorage, Alaska to see the Iditarod start and to fly to some of the remote Alaska back country checkpoints were one of the best decisions we have ever made before. We booked our package also through Alaska Destination Services at: www.iditarodalaska.net and had a great time and a lot of fun. The remote lodge we stayed at provided a extremely good service, nice food and comfortable rooms. We took every day a ski plane flying out to observe the race up close and personal. Thank for the great organization guys. Timothy
We traveled in March 2010 to Alaska to observe the famous Iditarod Race. The tour were organized and booked with Iditarod Alaska Tours LTD - website: www.iditarodalaska.net - It was a trip of a lifetime for us and the organizing company exceeded our expectations. The hotels in Anchorage and the wilderness lodge near Yentna River were first-class, the fly-outs exceptional and the guides are among the best we ever had. All of us (8 people) enjoyed this trip very much and we left Alaska with a lot of great memories about the race, mushers and dog teams. We really like to come back someday and fly to Nome to watch the finish of the race too. Kim Monahan, Hudson Wisconsin
