Yahoo e-mail is currently a disgrace designed by idiots. It's too slow and the user interface is the worst I've ever seen. I can't properly read my e-mails, as the window for viewing them takes only 1... See more

New format is not good…

New format is not good (understatement). How could any company think that this is an improvement on the old old format. Confusing, difficult to use and particularly poor on smaller screen phones. Hopefully with the amount of negative reviews listed on trust pilot, yahoo mail might revert back to older system.

I don't know who came up with this…

I don't know who came up with this "update". Sorry but I'm not playing a video game to score xp points to level up. This is beyond childish and intrusive. The only time I want to "earn points" or level up is when I game on my off time. Not when I'm doing business. This is email not a game. Email if for business, correspondence, school and the like. Not for some juvenile pop of of "yay points!"

Yahoo suddenly removed the free storage…

Yahoo suddenly removed the free storage from 1 TB to 20 GB. This means that I cannot send or receive emails which I run my whole life with. It is life-altering and I will be suing them if I don't receive important emails that affect my finances or health. I upgraded to Yahoo plus for mobile on one of my Yahoo addresses and now I can't upgrade the most important Yahoo address because it says I need to use a different Google play ID - I have no idea how to do that. I have cancelled the original mobile subscription but apparently have to wait until the 6th of September before I can upgrade my most important Yahoo email address. I have spent hours trying to fix this. I had a feeling at some stage they would make life difficult for their customers because they own so much of their information and data. I am incredibly angry with them and frustrated and will be suing them for the effects of not having access to my Yahoo account for a month. I found out today that I was sent an invitation for the weekend with a group of friends which only meet up every couple of years - I missed it because of Yahoo. This is extortion.

It has been ridiculously slow

It has been ridiculously slow. The new layout and features are terrible. I've never been so frustrated with Yahoo as now. I'm about to drop their platform completely. The new search engine is very inefficient.

Yahoo7 mail have effectively held a loaded gun to users heads to get money

Yahoo7 mail have effectively held a loaded gun to people's heads to make them pay for access to their emails, previously free. They have imposed arbitary storage limits, where previously none existed, and have given users a very short time frame to clear their stored emails. Emails sent to deleted folder are unable to be cleared in bulk, items just spool indefinitely. Way to go Yahoo, it feels like something a thug criminal would do to someone in a back lane to extort money.

Yahoo...Boo Hoo! 😳

I have been using Yahoo mail for about 16+ years. There were some glitches in the early days using on my Android mobile but nothing ss bad or as frustrating since their latest update. Smooth and effortless scrolling is a thing of the past atm and is irritating beyond words. The ads are prominent and in the way basically but now you can't delete them without paying to do so. I don't object to ads, let's face it, using Yahoo Mail, is in essence, 'free'...so one expects to get ads but these are intrusive and are obstructive. I have tried troubleshooting to remove glitches and I still can't improve it. Also before the update I had cleared out hundreds of old emails and after the update 6.7k extras appeared in my inbox! It took me hours to get rid of them initially and now with this clunky glitchy system, it's going to take forever to delete them again. Frustrated is a gross understatement! 😫😵‍💫🤔

YAHOO IS NOW SPAMMERLAND!!!

I have been on the Internet for 30 years and 5 minths and have esed almost every email platform imaginable.

It a really sad day to me when Eutora closed its doors on us and gave the rights to their platform to a museum in Califofnia, because there will never be another email prigam like it.

Now YAHOO has gone to heii in a handbasket by coercing people into paying them, or they barrage you with paid ads, which spammy companies like Endurance insurance, Rocket Mortgage and dozed other corporate cocktoaches pay Yahoo thousands of dollars to HARRASS you with 15 or more ads every day, hoping that you will be stupid enough to give them your money!!!!

I AM ISSUEING A CALL TO "ARMS" ASKING EVERYONE THAT READS THIS TO CALL OR EMAIL AND DEMAND THAT THEY CEASE AND DESISIT THE PRACTICE OF SPAMMING YOUR ACCOUNT WITH THE A E UNWANTED EMAILS.

And if they refuse to stop their antice SWITCH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO A DIFFERENT PLATFORM!!!

Not good, not responsive

Not good, not responsive. The finance and sports sections are quite lacking. The finance, where one can integrate with others on message boards is a joke. They've recently changed the rules where you need to comply with their new rules to be able to post. That's fine. But I commented on a stock, "Does anyone know the reason for the drop?" It wasn't accept (as going against their rules lol) and when i appealed it, i got a form letter back. They simply don't care.
And as for their politics, which is derived from CNN mostly, if you criticize any of their criticisms, it's not allowed. Go elsewhere

Thanks, Yahoo Mail, for amazing us with a webmail service that’s a sieve for junk—and charges you just to block extra domains after the first three! Thanks for making us appreciate the competition and the adventure of switching to another email provider—thanks again! Yahoo is a has-been, completely abandoned after being bought up by various other companies!

The new update makes it incredibly…

The new update makes it incredibly difficult to see the difference between what I have read and what I haven't read. The text is small and the colour differentiation is so subtle between them it's nearly pointless. Please make unread emails LOOK obviously unread.

Very Poor New Design.

It's a very poor new design. They tell you how long ago a message was received in minutes and hours - not the actual time and date ! The Notes and Personal Calendar are shortly disappearing too. It's as if they are deliberately sabotaging their own site by the bad navigation design and selection of e-mails they appear to be making for you rather than the ones you could actually decide upon to read for yourself. The basic design was far superior. Comments about moving on to other FREE e-mail service providers are accurate, as Yahoo is definitely moving towards and encouraging a paid subscription version, supposedly advert free. Bitterly disappointed at the way the feel good factor is fast disappearing. Yahoo are far too proud to admit ever making any mistakes but they certainly have with this new version.
