Do not buy from this company
Do not buy from this company. The refund policy is complicated and requires you to return the item to Singapore. In my case they offered 30% of items initial cost which is less postage. Also to return it would cost more than the original price. I would not recommend using this company.

Don't buy from this site!!!
I placed an order in July for women's clothing. I thought everything looked great in the on line photos and the site had good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. Unfortunately, I didn't like the items when they arrived (poor quality, not true to how they looked on line) so I decided to return all items.
The first surprise when I started the return process was that you had to explain why you didn't like the items and upload a photo of yourself wearing the items to prove it. I decided not to do so as I don't think I should need to prove these things. I was contacted by customer services who offered me a 30% discount to not return the items. I declined on the grounds that I don't like the items and would never wear them so 30% wouldn't change my mind.
Then customer service provided me instructions on how to return the items which made it clear that I was unlikely to get a refund. I was offered a 40% discount to not return the items. Even though I didn't want to keep the items, I realised that this was probably the best way forward.
Then: the refund was provided in the form of credits to buy more from the site. An option to get the refund to my card was provided but the link didn't work. I contacted customer service but they didn't respond.
So I would really recommend anyone not to buy from this site. There are better sites out there to spend your money on.

I want to warn anyone considering buying from LightInTheBox about their returns process; it is designed to discourage returns.
If an item arrives broken, damaged, or not fit for purpose, you are still expected to pay for the return postage yourself — even though the fault is entirely theirs. In my case, it cost them roughly £3 to send the item to me, yet I was told it would cost £10–40 for me to send it back and I would need to pay for it. That imbalance alone tells you everything about how this company is set up: to make returning something so expensive and inconvenient that most people simply give up.
When I pushed back, I wasn't offered a proper refund. Instead, I was offered either a 40% refund while keeping the faulty item, or a 50% voucher to spend on more of their products — with the same faulty item still sitting with me, unused and unusable. This is not a genuine resolution; it's a tactic to avoid paying out what they actually owe.
In my case, the item was a hat, which had been stuffed into an ordinary box and arrived completely out of shape — useless for the funeral I needed it for. I had to buy a replacement at short notice, at extra cost, while the company refused to properly compensate me by paying for the return of the one that arrived ruined.
What makes this worse is the communication itself. Their responses on public platforms sound reasonable and willing to help, but the moment you move into direct communication with them, it becomes a drawn-out back-and-forth of the same low percentage offers, repeated again and again. They are in no hurry to resolve anything, because the longer this drags on, the more likely you are to give up out of sheer exhaustion. Your time clearly means nothing to them; theirs is built into the business model.
My honest advice: think twice before ordering from this company. If you're looking for overseas sellers, in my experience companies like Shein and Temu have handled issues far more fairly and with far less hassle.
Don't say you weren't warned.

Do not expect to get a refund if anything wrong with purchase
Size to small despite me ordering one size up from what usually fits. Light in the Box make it virtually impossible to get a refund. They do offer a discount on a future purchase if you retain garment. They quote high return shipping costs and that was proved correct when I visited local Post Office. Evri provided a more affordable quote but they need an e mail address in case of problems delivering in China. Impossible to find an email address. I will never deal with this company again.

Terrible shopping experience
Terrible shopping experience. No guest check out, no contact information if you have any questions or concerns. You are forced to create an account to check the status of your order or make a return. And you are forced to pay for return shipping, which can be a greater cost than the order you’re trying to return. The shirt I ordered was supposed to be a large, but when I tried it on it felt like it was a child’s shirt it was so small. And there was no indication of size on any of the tags or labels so I’ve no idea if I received the wrong size or if everything just runs extremely small. My experience with this seller has been absolutely horrible start to finish.

Horrible company to deal with
Horrible company to deal with. The sizing was completely inaccurate, and the quality was extremely poor. Honestly, you’d be better off buying the same garments from TEMU or SHEIN.
When I contacted the company, they only offered me a small partial refund rather than properly resolving the issue. They then expected me to return the items to China, despite the order being shipped from what appeared to be an Australian distribution centre.
Very disappointing experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company.

Scammy
Item arrived late, was cheaper looking and far too large (it was NOT cheap).
Coming to refund situation, it’s the horrible goes to China, huge postage cost, takes six weeks… I did research on this company and was told it was a very reputable company based in Ireland and that refunds were no problem.
Something funny is going on with this company’s internet reputation

Order two pairs of boots
Order two pairs of boots, Didn’t trust your size chart, neither pair fitted comfortably, zip toggle came off in my hand. Being truthfully honest, the boots look nothing like as advertised, nasty quality, went straight in the bin. Not worth the hassle of return charges and lengthy timeline responses. I should have been wiser🤷♂️

Issues resolved
Updated review:
I am finally at peace over this situation after checking my credit card account and seeing a full refund issued. All the time and effort in trying to simply return and/or exchange the 3 shirts has been exhausting but in the end lightinthebox has stepped up to actually resolve this issue. I sincerely just wanted new shirts and would have gladly return the 3 for an equal or less exchange. Thank you that I can put this behind me and go shopping at a local retailer for shirts that I can try on and know that I am actually getting the correct size and color that I have selected.
I purchased 5 shirts from this company on 8/4/26. Two were for my husband and 3 were for me. All 3 of my shirts totaling $76.78 are too tight across the shoulders. The website provided a size guide for them, 2 have shoulder measurements and 1 only provided bust, sleeve, and length measurements. According to those measurements I chose a large to ensure fit. I have been back and forth with customer service about the fit issues, provided photos where I measured the shoulders width for each shirt, I provided screenshots of the 2 shirts that included shoulder width and pointed out the discrepancy between the measurements provided and the actual measurements only to have them tell me their website doesn't provide shoulder measurements. I responded with screenshots of the 2 shirts with shoulder width from their website and told them that regardless of the other shirt not having the shoulder width measurements it was too tight and I couldn't even try them all the way on for fear of ripping them. Every response from them is requesting me to provide more photos of the other measurements (bust, sleeves, and length) that are not applicable to my issue. I have also pointed out that 2 of the 3 shirts that I received were not even the same colors as shown and described on their website. I have offered to exchange the 3 for 2 other shirts with off shoulder seams (totaling less than the 3 that I paid for) that would work for me but they only continue to request more photos of measurements that have nothing to do with my issue. I am so frustrated with dealing with these folks and can't say how sorry I am for not doing more due diligence before giving my money for products I can never use. I am a senior living on a set income and needed some new shirts. I will never make this mistake again.
So...I get a response from lightinthebox regarding the above review with their "deepest apologies for failing short", which is exactly how the last gazillion emails from them start out and then they tell me to reach out to customer service and my problem will be handled to my satisfaction which is exactly what I have already been doing .... same response different day. I do not trust that anything is going to change dealing with this company.

Beware, they make it almost impossible to get a full refund
The size we ordered was Large, we were sent Large, but it was Large for a Chinese person, not a European. Getting a full refund seems impossible, they make it so complex, so we went for a 30% refund and not returning the product, they deliberately frighten you from returning it by saying it could cost you $20-$40 and take six weeks before they consider a refund.

Products illustrated are not what you get sent. The adorable little gift box is just a cheap card box and the interior is cheap and the beads are not as shown.
The Be Still and know that I am God charm bracelet is not the same as the one illustrated and promised.

Only because "0" is not available
Only because "0" is not available. Ordered a size L, they sent me what they had ready made (a size S with the size label cut out). They made me prove (with measurements) that they had sent me the wrong size, then insisted I return the dress at My expense for refund. Do not waste your time and money.

Dodgy Chinese company
Total cowboys, no not use, they charge a ton of money for delivery but 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting. The tracking just says things like 'Shipment Departed From Original Country' with no indication of what the country is (assuming China) or why there is a delay. Ordered a backpack for my kid to return to school but it won't be here in time, so disappointing and frustrating. Don't even bother honestly.

Unfortunately return costs were as much as 50% refund (company is in China) -so I have a damaged hat at a very reasonable price
