I do a lot of online shopping, and when making large purchase I don't take chances. After doing research these guy had the best selection and prices, also when I called with questions they really knew there stuff. I bought my wifes watch here, and will come back for my companies end of the year bonus gifts and buy them all here.
The company apparently advertises the current pictures and model numbers, however when you make the purchases, the item is always very similar but a step down or last years model. It was textbook bait and switch. The return policy and customer service was handled correctly and they did allow a return despite not giving any apologies or resonalble excuses. I would call and make sure they are going to send what the website shows and says before purchasing. - Thank you
There were some misunderstood communications when discussing the purchase on the phone, which made my decision a little more difficult. But I received what I asked for and got necessary paperwork a few days later.
Would use them anytime
I had done months of research into online retailers of luxury pre-owned watches. The pricing on this site seemed to be reasonable compared to some of the better known or rated retailers. This concerned me up to the point I received the product, which I had verified independently with a local jeweler that the product was 100% authentic. I would highly recommend this seller given the pricing, turnaround and one of the best guaranty of future, accurate, as if new, time keeping or they will fix it deals.
I was a difficult customer -- I called with questions and eventually had to cancel my order because the product wasn't available in the color that I wanted. Even so, I received excellent customer service. When it became apparent that the color I wanted couldn't be found, they called me back the following day, explained the situation, and cancelled my order without complaint. I didn't end up buying, but that wasn't their fault. The service that I received on this transaction ensures that my next one will be with them.
Very satisfied with Luxury of Watches. My order shipped within the time stated on the FAQ page (3 days plus time in transit) and I received the product brand new in the box. This was the best price I could find on this watch, I would definitely order from here again.
Called on the phone. Guy says, "yeah we have it. Order it online"
5 minutes later emailed through site to say not in stock. I called again and he tried to upsell me to a different model. I said, refund me. It took a week to get my funds back into my account and only after I complained to amazon payments.
Could have checked his stock when I called instead of wasting my time and holding my $.
This site had a wide selection of watches and it had the one I was searching for in stock. I could not find the watch anywhere and finally was able to purchase one through this site. The only thing they can work on is their customer service, the replies were a bit curt and slow but all in all a good experience.
Easily the best price on the internet and good service in the end. There was confusion as to the time it would take to fulfill my order and I didn't get any information that it would be delayed until over a week after I made my order and had to call to check the status myself. However, once I checked in, fulfillment of my order happened quickly.
I can't really give a review for Luxury of Watches as the item I ordered was out of stock and was notified that it would take 5 to 6 weeks for it to be delivered. As I had found the same watch elsewhere that could ship immediately, I canceled my order.
Very nice company to work with, Martin did an excellent job of letting me know the process. Intuitive website, amazing selection and even better customer service. Will definitely recommend for future business.
I just bought a Breitling Aersopace for over $3K at Luxury of Watches. The extra low price and the "lifetime" warranty were the deciding factors.
The watch arrived in a bit over a week, which is OK by me. The packaging looked legitimate; the only oddity was that the back of the watch had a yellow round sticker instead of the standard clear plastic I was expecting. (Perhaps a 2nd class rating from the factory?) Anyway, I immediately noticed that the bezel was lose. It had quite a bit of play, to the point that it would rotate in both directions. I took it to the local Breitling store, and the agent concurred that the watch appeared to be original. But when I looked at another Aerospace on display I saw that the back sticker was clear, and, most importantly, that the bezel was pretty tight and rotated only counter-clockwise, as I expected.
At that point I called Martin, who said he was the Luxury of Watches store owner. I explained that the watch, which apparently was original, had a problem with the bezel which was lose and rotated both ways. His immediate answer was: "This is a pilot's watch. The bezel is lose because it's like a bumper, so it protects the watch. Also, it is supposed to rotate both ways." So I asked: "Are you sure?" He replied: "Yes, 110% certain. I had one not long ago myself and did just that."
In an era when anybody can find anything on the Internet on their iPhone, a statement like this seems quite risky. I immediately logged into Breitling's official website and saw that the watch's bezel was described as 'unidirectional.' I called Martin back with the info, to which he replied: "Yeah, unidirectional means you can move it both ways..." At that point I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh or cry. The guy, who is a watch dealer, had the guts to make a claim like that over the phone --he's either a fool or trying to fool me. I'm slightly inclined to believe the second...
Anyway, after some talking over the phone he realized I wouldn't let go. He then said: "OK, so what do you want me to do now? I could send the watch over back to the company, but that will take weeks. Why don't you keep the watch, use it a bit, and then we deal with this later? We have two years to do this." (I didn't even want to ask what he meant by "2 years"; his website advertises "lifelong warranty".)
I really like this watch. It's clearly not in perfect shape. I wish it were. I will deal with the lose bezel at a later time because I don't want to send it away right now. Hopefully the bezel will stay in place for a couple months. Hopefully the warranty will still kick in then. We will see.
Beware. You get what you pay for.
Where do we start? What can we say? Luxury of Watches ALWAYS answers the phone, no telephone prompt, just real customer service in the form of an actual person. Their knowledge of watches, the market, and import/export is staggering! They truly know the product they sell, and NEVER give BS responses. They live and die by telling the customer the truth, instead of telling the customer what they want to hear. I guarantee I am the absolute pickiest customer to deal with. I received an Omega that had slight scratches on the bezel. I called to discuss the options, the owner ordered me a new one without hesitation. No fees attached and he shipped it for free. The new watch came 100% untouched, MINT!. Everything they sell is 100% authentic. Around 15 calls and 30 emails were sent over this single transaction, I was never ignored, lied to, or misled. Lux of W. wants your business and will do whatever it takes to earn it. Not to mention their prices are hard to beat. I am a customer for life. For any questions pertaining to this sale and review, please feel free to email me @ OmegaRevue@Gmail.com
I bought a Movado watch as a wedding present for my fiancé. This watch was on sale in the retail stores for $1500. LuxuryofWatches.com had it on sale for almost $600 cheaper. I was skeptical as the price difference was huge and it was over the internet. However, I decided to give it a try. I am really glad that I did! While the watch did take several weeks to arrive, once it came I was more than satisfied. It was exactly the same watch that I looked at in the display case at Macy's for literally $600 cheaper. I will ABSOLUTELY do business with LuxuryofWatches.com again.
I purchased a Tissot watch from your website only to be notified days later via email that my order was canceled. No explanation as to why or what transpired. I don't know if the watch was out of inventory or back ordered. Nonetheless my order was canceled and I didn't receive a watch or an explanation as to why. Very dissatisfied with the customer service or lack thereof.
Great genuine watch, fully pleased.
But order shipping to Russia was made in 17 days after order itself was made and payed - that is much more then rivals offer.
Shipping took 8 days with FedEx. Very good.
The watch i ordered was beautiful. It came in perfect condition and the price was even better. It took a little longer than expected to ship out but it was well worth the wait. Excellent company. I am very satisfied
Got a very nice Movado at a great price. Had the Jeweler I took it to for sizing inspect it to confirm its authenticity. All good, no issues there. Will definitely purchase from Martin again. I'll just mention that if you are in any hurry or plan to buy a watch as a gift, please plan accordingly. My order was placed on 3/2 and I finally received the watch on 3/15. In this day and age that is a little longer than I would have preferred to wait. But then again you can't beat the price :)
This website / company does not understand simple business etiquette. Did not honor the sale. And also did not want to even be flexible and arrive at an alternative but fair compensation. They do not take responaibility of their own mistakes. Do not value building long term client relationship. I have only started collecting timepieces since 6 months ago and have built up a collection of 10 watches approx 70,000 worth. And further 10 have passed through my hands as purchases for friends and colleagues of mine. So instead of potential client for future, they have earned a bad review instead. Really should consider getting schooled on running a business.
So this is one of those cases where the internet allows me to own something I can't afford to pay retail price for. That said, the tough part is that you have to have the experience of dealing with an online merchant, which can often turn into a headache for a variety of reasons. Also of note, is that I have to say I have never bought anything nearly this expensive over the internet before and was quite nervous about doing so.
I placed an order for a Movado watch with Luxery of Watches. I emailed to check to see if the model I wanted was in stock and I got a reply back the same day. The watch is real and came in the original packaging with all the stickers and official packaging still on it. It was unblemished and in perfect condition. The battery is working and it runs fine. True to what the website stated it took about a week to process, but once it shipped I got it in one day. However, I am only one state over from the shipping address. I got an email whenever the status of my order changed.
I was able to find the item on a couple other websites for a little less money, but they were either not rated well, out of stock, or, in one case, didn't bother to reply to my query.
Overall I was really happy with my experience purchasing from Luxery of Watches. I got about a 30% discount off of retail, didn't have any trouble getting the item, and was kept informed with what was going on the whole time. If I never need another watch or have any friends who want one, Luxery of Watches will be at the top of my list.
I ordered a Chanel J12 watch (after paying full store price for my first one), and am so so so happy with my product and Luxury of Watches! It's beautiful and brand new in the box! The watch also arrived 2 days after I had ordered it online with free shipping. I will always buy my designer watches from Luxury of Watches, and you are a fool if you don't too.
