When we first joined Virgin, we were on a 350 package and everything was pretty fast. However, once we renewed our contract, the price shot up, and we've had no end of problems, which are still ongoin... See more

I had appointment today for fix my poor broadband connection,,he was perfect and so kind ,he did his job very well and Im really happy with his service,I want tank from all virgin media support and stuff, thanks a lot guys just keep doing great as always 👌👌👌
Worked good enough for years although never got anywhere near 350. Last 3 months broadband keeps dropping in my area in Sheffield. Switching to BT this week.
Adios..and never again
I've been a virgin customer for a few years but the levels of service and customer service just gets poorer and poorer, whilst they charge existing customers more and more. This last few months I experience an internet outage daily, and their app simply suggests to check your equipment as there are "no known issues" in the area. This is rubbish. For a start they provided a new router just 6 months ago - is their own hardware that unreliable? Also the amount of local complaints on facebook clearly shows they are wider service issues. Safe to say I am finally switching company.
Expensive mediocre broadband performance, but just wait till you try to switch away from them.
They claim to use the One Touch Switch service but will cancel it on their end and then continue billing you even after you have left. They will then still insist on a 30 day cancellation even when you left 2 months ago
Absolutely terrible service — stay away from Virgin Media!
I have never experienced such poor customer service. Virgin Media repeatedly booked installation appointments, only for nobody to turn up. They changed appointment dates without properly informing me, leaving me completely frustrated and wasting my time.
I lost two days of my holiday waiting for engineers who never came. After almost two months of waiting, the installation still wasn’t completed. Every time I tried to sort it out, I was given another appointment or another excuse.
This is an absolute joke. Customers’ time clearly means nothing to them. I have now cancelled the whole thing because I have had enough.
Do yourself a favour and stay away from Virgin Media. There are plenty of other providers who actually respect their customers and their time. I would not recommend Virgin Media to anyone.
Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Virgin Media.

Currently trying to change providers from sky to virgin but after 7 weeks I'm about to give up. We have explained previously that the cable from the street to our house. Isn't working, Not a problem we are told it should still be a two week turnaround. So far four engineers have randomly turned up to have a look, the last one actually connected us to the neighbours box and said now all we need was our box. Hooray after 7 weeks but sadly no our tomorrow appointment has been cancelled as we have been informed on the virgin system we still need a cable, so told to wait another 3 weeks. Currently looking to return to sky or might try Now TV

I was very happy with the engineer visit. The engineer was friendly, professional and efficient, completed the work as promised, and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. A very positive experience.

The worst organisation I’ve ever been a customer of…no contest. My contract ended so I decided to look for cheaper deals as the Virgin price suddenly hiked to £70 per month for broadband alone (and only M500). Received an email suggesting I would need to pay £1350 to buy myself out of new 18 month contract which I had never entered into. After 3 phone conversations, it was agreed that Virgin would reimburse me the £50 they owed me from overcharges. Was told I’d receive this by cheque 2 months ago…still waiting (why by cheque??!). However, I did receive the kit to return my modem, within 2 days, with plenty of emphasis on the ramifications of not returning the gear sharpish, which I did btw. The single biggest swindling joke of an organisation. GIVE ME MY MONEY!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID.
COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT.
I now understand why they have such competitive pricing, because that must be the only way they keep customers.
Was booked for installation tomorrow at my new property, have had zero communication of any issues or changes. Checked the app today and my installation date has been delayed by 10 days. Anupallavi and his installation team claim this is due to construction work required, yet this was completed yesterday and so the original appointment could have been maintained. Took several attempts of my repeating engineers had been at my property yesterday before they acknowledged this had been updated on my account.
I can only assume my appointment has been given to another frustrated customer like myself. I will be cancelling my new contract if this is not resolved by the end of the week.

I was with O2 but it merged with Virgin Media and since then I have had so many problems logging into my account. I have had to contact customer service several times just to be able to log in, and then I have to wait a week for it to be resolved each time. Simply terrible. O2 were so good but now they have merged with Virgin Media, it is a nightmare! Awful company.

I decided to switch to a new provider for when my Virgin contract was up. I let Virgin know 30 days in advance that I would be switching on the day of the contract ending. I confirmed with them that this would incur no charges and that it was all sorted their side. I got back in touch a further 3 times over the space of 4 weeks as my account was still showing as active and got the same confirmation. The switch happened on 27th August, to still not have any official communication from Virgin about being disconnected. I got in contact again, to be told I never informed them and that I now have to be billed for a further month because it's '30 days notice'. Then I was told I wouldn't be charged (I was) and that my new provider needed to inform them of the switch before they could disconnect. I reached out to the new provider to be told Virgin had cancelled the switch, which is why they could not notify them! Now I have to wait 45 days for a refund after they charged me for broadband dates after being disconnected. Incredibly poor, do not use them.

Without doubt, the absolute worst internet provider I have ever been with, worst service ever, worse connection ever. 100's of 1000's of disconnects, not a single day goes by where we don't disconnect at least 20-30 times. We raise complaints and they close them down saying 'thank you for talking to us' when they haven't. We complain about packet loss and they say they are gonna send wifi pods... and never do... utter crap

I was with VIRGIN for 2 years but I got eviction notice section 14 (no fault eviction) and stayed at Hotel
for 5 weeks and eventually I found a flat in Christchurch but unfortunately VIRGIN has no service in the area and I gave notice to close my account.
I am receiving statements and threatening e mails as VIRGIN wants me to pay £502 for early disconnection fees for a service that they cannot provide. I have sent to home movers
copy of Lease of my new place
BH23 2AZ to prove my adress nd that there is no VIRGIN as requested but I still get e mails demanding payments and this morning I received a call from VIRGIN collection department
wanting payment.
It is shocking that a company like VIRGIN wants payment for early disconnection when they have no service in the area that I now live.
It is not my fault that they have no service. I wish that they could provide me service as I was happy with my package with them.
As per VIRGIN reply I contacted them on WhatsApp and wasted 1 hour talking to robots. VIRGIN must be one of the worst companies in UK as i sent twice a copy of Lease and again today asked me to send it again and also sent first payment to Aster Group. They said I must phone their customer care which I did when I first moved out and it is a waste of time as I achieved nothing.
I now had enough and VIRGIN can sue me although I am a disabled person but I am prepared to go to court as i don't believe any Judge can make me pay for a service that is not available.
