Prompt delivery and good pre sales communication

Mark was very helpful pre sale with extra information as requested, however -
I received my new computer desk and unwrapped the packaging. As there was a lot of metal - brackets and screws - it was obvious this unit had been sat outside as they were all rusty. I sent an email to the company but got no reply - what a surprise!
My husband had some bits in the garage and replaced all the metal bits. The desk itself is fine but it was frustrating to not get a reply post sale - it was as if they had made the sale and then didn't care.

Great Prices and lovely furniture

I ordered the oak shoe cupboard back in october.
However i did have to wait until Dec 22nd i think for it.
But it was well worth the wait.
It is a lovely piece and it was the best price i found for this item.On furniture world.
I am very pleased with it and i would buy again from this company, Thnks Mark for keeping your promise that it would be delivered before christmas ! xx

Customer service a nightmare

.I placed and paid for my order in September. Today is 30th December and I am still unfinished with online furniture world. Mark, who seems to be the only person working there, is very polite,and in his well mannered fashion he made me promises regarding delivery and collection of one item I needed to return. A]l through Christmas and the new year I have put up with a massive box in my sitting room ruining my holiday. I am also informed that it could take a month before I recieve the refund. Plus I am going to pay for the pleasure of all this because the cost of return will be deducted from my refund.
Perhaps I should charge rent for the space.
I feel sorry for Mark, because anything he did himself was good. He was let down by his choice of carrriers, but I told him this long ago
Mark knew from day one that I would want a dressing table and possibly another chest. Some hopes now I would rather eat earwax than deal with this company again,

Outstanding customer service, sturdy furniture for a good price.

I have just bought an oak tv unit, however first unit was damage, after speaking to Mark at online furniture world , he arranged very quickly for the unit to be exchanged. I was sent e mails and called so i knew exactly what was happening. The customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! and my new unit is just lovely, it looks way more expensive than it is.
I would 100% buy from you again. thanks again for all your help.

Helpful, Friendly and problem free

The person I spoke to when I placed my order was friendly, helpful and informative. The order was processed quickly and delivered on time.

Great product, exceeded all expectations!

Buying furniture in the sub-£500 bracket is normally a miserable exercise. You see something that looks nice, the description is great, the reviews are all good and then it arrives..........

No-one actually lies in the process. You go back and look at the product description and it doesn't say that no parts are made of nasty plastic or that hideous wobble board material. In fact when you look again, there is normally an asterisk (*) with a link that reveals, in the depths of page 28 of the 0.5 font, that "this product is really quite shoddy and if you want to use it for any other purpose than burning then it wont last long."

My new shoe cupboard from Online furniture world is mercifully diffrerent. It is a quality product. It is built to last. It arrived when they said it would. It wasn't flat packed. The guy who delivered it was efficient and cheerful. And afterwards all I got was a quick email politely asking me to give a small company some feedback. So here it is: I am glad I bought from you. Others should too. You are doing good work. Thanks.

Having experienced great service and really happy with our first piece, we have placed another order. The quality and friendly service experienced is outstanding compared to other furniture companies. Brilliant Service

I purchased a La Rogue Mahogany computer desk, and two La Rogue Mahogany Lamp tables , was really impressed when they arrive, by a lovely, dellivery man.. So i placed another order with onlinefurniture for the matching television unit and nest of table. I did have a problem, with my TV unit, came a bit damanged , but got it sorted pretty quick, and was offered a bit of a refund.. Delivery was brilliant. Customer service amazing and quality furniture excellent.

My bookcase was exactly as described. Delivery was prompt. The driver carried it all the way in to the room where it would sit.

TOP CLASS COMPANY

I ordered my glass table and chairs and when they arrived one of the chairs was damamged. After a phone call and e mailled photo of the damaged chair i was pleasantly surprised to have a replacement seat by the next day!

Poor Quality Furniture

I ordered five items from the Shiro Walnut by Baumhaus range costing nearly £2k in Jan 2012..

My furniture order was delayed and eventually took 16 weeks to arrive against the advertised 8-10 weeks.

When the furniture did arrive it was of poor quality and ALL of the items had imperfections.

Two of the five items were agreed to be replaced and the other two were deemed acceptable even though I thought the scratches/glue marks were not part of the 'character' of the wood as Baumhaus described.

Unfortunately even the replacement items were of worse quality than the originals with large scratches and nails hammered in from the front(!!) of the furniture.

Onlinefurnitureworld offered to collect all of the furniture and provide a full refund. However due to the length of time we had already waited, we chose to keep the furniture and repair the damage ourselves. No compensation was offered for the damage or the delays.

I only gave 2 stars because at least a refund was offered, so customer service was acceptable. If the rating was purely quality of furniture, it would have been 1 star...

I found this company to be one of the best solid oak furniture shops on the internet, they have very competitive prices, one of the cheapest i could find but this was not reflected in the quality as the furniture arrived good solid hard wood , well put together and looked way more expensive than what i payed. the staff were also very helpful, kept me well updated and were friendly and pleasant to deal with. would defiantly shop here again and would highly recommend this company to my friends or anyone looking to buy good quality furniture at a fair price.

Excellent post sale customer service

We had been looking for a corner oak computer desk for some time before finding what we thought was the perfect product at a good price at onlinefurnitureworld. As it turned out, the desk was not made of as much solid oak as we'd believed; there was a lot of veneer. There were some other quality issues as well as some in-transit damage. However, Mark was superb in dealing with our complaints. We were promptly offered replacement parts or a partial refund. In the end, we decided to keep the desk as it suited our purposes and accepted a partial refund. Customer service was ace, product wasn't as good as expected, hence 4 stars and not 5.

Outstanding service and quality furniture!

I ordered a shoe cabinet & matching computer desk before xmas not only was it cheapest on web but got a deal with extra % off, not to mention free delivery! I was expecting it to be delivered after xmas but recieved it before so I was very happy, they kept me well informed with delivery times and the delivery guy phoned to tell what time he would arrive with my delivery! The delivery guy was very helpful, unpacked it and even helped put shelves in right place. The quality of furniture is amazing and as this is the first time we have invested in good quality furniture I am not disappointed at all, and my hall looks amazing! Thank you for a truley amazing genuine service, I would definately recommed this site and would be very happy to use again!!

Amazing furniture with first rate service

We ordered 3 items one of which was not immediately available as not in stock but a simple email enquiry resulted in the promise to still deliver the two that were before Christmas. How amazed were we when all 3 arrived on time as promised, Even more than that the delivery carrier was so helpful in helping get them in the house. We then unpacked them and we wish to say how carefully and protectively all items were packed. A great experience from a company we will definitely buy from again.

Hassle Free Excellent Service

I bought a solid oak coffee table from online furniture world which i couldnt be more happy with. When I phoned the company with some questions before ordering, I received a very friendly and helpful service. The table was delivered on time and by a really friendly guy. Could not be bettered

I ordered a computer desk. From the point at which I ordered it when the online chat was available on a Sunday afternoon and I was able to get a question answered immediately to the point of delivery only a couple of weeks later the whole process was first class. I was advised at all stages, including advance offer of delivery time, confirmation, texts on the day of delivery to confirm exact time coming. And the product itself is superb. I have never had a better experience in online shopping and would most certainly shop here again and thoroughly recommend to others.

Great Quality

Ordered a dining room suite - oval glass with solid oak legs and 4 chairs .. fantastic value for money .. Mike's customer service was great and kept in touch with delivery details.. The delivery was within 2 weeks and when it arrived the guy (sorry didnt catch your name) was so helpful. Would definately recommend as quality is fantastic had my eye on the same suite in NEXT but was £500 more and not solid oak.

Five Stars!

Found this company by sheer chance just browsing for a computer hideaway desk. Saw exactly what I wanted, placed the order, got regular updates and received the goods early, the desk and cd/dvd case are excellent quality, better than anything I've seen in the shops. Customer service is fantastic other companies could learn a great deal from onlinefurniture world. And special thanks to Roy the delivery man - he deserves a medal getting the goods into my apartment! I've now placed my second order for a sideboard (sorry in advance to the delivery man!) and will recommend this company to all my friends and family.

We had been searching for a computer desk for what seemed like weeks in the evenings. We came upon onlinefurniture but had some questions around delivery. Using their live chat facility, we were able to have questions answered - an excellent feature. We placed the order the next night and received the oak desk 9 days later. Terrific service!!

Initial order confirmation could have been quicker had to contact company by telephone to get confirmation of order.However I was treated with courtesy and politeness.Furniture item is excellent quaity.The delivery driver was friendly and efficient,overall a pleasent experience.I would probably buy from this company again.

Very good, but could be excellent!

We ordered a hideaway computer desk and was expecting a 2 week delivery but had not heard from the company (hence the 4/5 rather than 5/5), so were beginning to get nervous.

However, upon contacting the company we were given clear details of the order progress to date. We then received regular updates as the order was despatched.

Once the item was delivered, which was extremely well packaged, the delivery guy was very helpful (despite being welcomed by my very friendly dog!).

The actual unit is very well made and is better quality than expected espcially the door construction.

Would recommend with no hesitation.

Really pleased with my Versailles shoe cabinet. Well made and very good quality mahogany.
