Internet ad was misleading, the real price was not what I saw when I booked the room. I ended up paying additional fees just because I booked through reservation counter without knowing I did. it cost me about $75 extra per room per night for a room that was originally supposed to be $91 per night. HUGE SCAM!!! Avoid at all cost and call the hotel directly!!!!
I suggest you don't stay in Room 125; the headboards share a wall with the kitchen's breakfast serving counters. The noise is very distracting and occurs very early!
I am a repeat guest at this hotel and not happy that my two rooms that were supposed to be next to each other, weren't; the guest that stayed in one of "our rooms" the night before decided to extend an extra day and the hotel staff couldn't accommodate our rooms being in close proximity to each other. One was down the hall to the left of the check-in and the other to the right. The fact that they gave us this particular room really frustrates me since I had my family in Kingsburg to celebrate a Family Reunion and I had told them how nice this hotel had been this past summer when I stayed there. I was so disappointed in Room 125 and want to suggest anyone reading this review take that into consideration when making your reservations.
Had no problem with making reservation, but when we got to our location on the date of arrival we noticed we had booked for the wrong location, we booked Milan, Oh and it should have been Milan Tn. As soon as we noticed we call the reservation counter and they corrected the reservation with a cancellation refund which we received in a matter of a day. Thank you for your understanding in the error and for making a timely refund. We appreciate the service.
I wa svery pleased with the reservation process
stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites Estero, Florida for 5 days. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. All employees and staff that I came in contact with were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent...many choices; very good food; and the kitchen staff was very attentive to refilling foods and friendly to talk to. Beds were comfortable for the most part, but the bedding was very lumpy, like it was put in the wash and the stuffing piled up inside. Looked terrible on the bed.
Booked a hotel but it was in U.S. dollars for Canadian location. Since I'm Canadian I wanted the booking in CDN $. Getting the booking changed was a disaster. The original booking that hit my credit card (767.52) was not the amount on the itinerary #126710288 $723.06. Three individual amounts of $241.41 were credited to my credit card. I'm short $43.29. This cancellation occurred just 30 minutes after the original booking. so the exchange rate was not a factor. After two phone calls saying a check was in the mail (Aug 21st and Sept 9th), I have received nothing. Ticket # 8133 had been opened and supervisor Mary was supposed to be resolving the problem.
I definitely won't be using this reservation system again.
Room smelled like smoke otherwise very clean and updated room. Great housekeeping service and was pleasantly surprised when I received a call the day of that the hotel was expecting me that was a nice touch. Front desk staff friendly and had to change my date of stay reservations was very helpful and accommodating.
I received an E-mail the morning I was to go to Mass.saying thank you for your reservation. Later in the afternoon I get a call saying the Hotel has over booked.
The Agent couldn't have been nicer and any more helpful. She found us a Hotel Closer, Nicer and Cheaper than I was going to pay. She also credit our account as a bonus.
We had a Great stay and we would use there service again, It pays to have a company look out for you!!!
We had not seen on the website that there was a spot to indicate American Funds. When we were charged for our reservation it is in American funds. upon contacting the reservation counter they said we had indicated that when we did the reservation. We live in the Ontario and are going to Alberta and thus we wanted to cancel our reservation as we do not want to pay the extra cost for American funds. the reservation counter said that we could not change it and could not cancel unless we pay one night stay. Not happy at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My reservation was for 4 adults 2 rooms. When we got to our reserved hotel, Olympic Lodge in Port Angeles, WA, Reservation Counter had only booked 1 room! The lodge did not have another room so we had to go elsewhere at a much higher rate. Will think twice before using again.
My room was 231. Right after my Mom & I got settled in, I climbed in the bed closest to the window. I immediately hear a cell phone vibrating to the left of me. Both of our phones were on the night stand between us, so I started looking for this phone I thought may have been left by a previous person. Looked under the curtains, edge of the bed and between the mattress....nothing. A bit later, Mom says, "No, I'm fine." I ask her what she is talking about. She says, "You asked me if I was warm enough." Oh no I didn't! I hadn't said anything at all. During the night (about 3 am) I wake up to see a dark shadow at the end of my Mom's bed. It disappeared quickly. Then to top if off, later I wake up to pressure on my bed, like someone had sat on it!! This happened about 4 times! I've never experienced that type of thing before, so I was a bit unnerved by it! I'm wondering if the remodeling a few doors down stirred something up?
When making the reservation for a Comfort Inn I enquired if there was a Senior's Discount and was informed that the rate was already discounted and was the lowest rate available. Upon arriving at the hotel I enquired as to the walk-in rate for a Senior. Their rate was lower than the "lowest rate" I was told by the Reservations Counter.
In the future I will be dealing directly with the facility and not through the Reservations Counter
I attempted to cancel a reservation a hotel reservation online and by telephone using all of the information provided to me through a confirmation email. The online system did not work and the customer service agent, who did not provide any service, was totally incompetent. When booking a reservation or cancelling one, I would expect that this could be done through the hotel I would be staying at and not farmed out to some sub company.
I LIVE IN MANITOBA CANADA AND BOOKED A HOTEL IN WIINIPEG AND WAS CHARGED IN USD. THIS PUT AN EXTRA $8.00 CHARGE ON MY BILL. WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT? I'M NOT GOING TO THE STATES AND I AM NOT FROM THE STATES. WHY AM I BEING BILLED IN USDE?
First of all, your site represented itself as the hotel's own website, which it is not. That's fraud in my book.
Second, my Visa was charged before I ever checked it. If I wanted to cancel, I would be out the money. I was told my account would be charged, not that it would be charged IMMEDIATELY!. The hotel had no record of my account information. I really hope they go their money.
Third, the vendor name on my credit card bill was not the names on the website. I almost called my bank to reject the charges.
Last - this ratings website erased everything I typed when it clicked on 'Terms & Conditions'. I had to retype everything. I did. You know most people don't respond when they are satisfied, but certainly do when they are unhappy. This is not a site I will ever use again!
PS: When I finally submitted this review, the session had timed out.
We had a wonderful stay and the price was reasonable. The room was very clean and smelled clean. The breakfest was really good the sweet rolls were really good and our daughter loved the sausage gravy and biskets. It was nice and quite you do not hear other people in their rooms. My husband was happy that he was able to get the football game on tv because he thought he was going to have to miss it. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe. We would stay there again. Wonderful place we highly recommend the Holiday Inn express.
The hotel I was going to check into had no room for me because my room was flooded, and all the other rooms were booked. Things happen, I understand. I did not want to accept their 'solution' of another hotel room in a place I didn't know which they said was "ten minutes or so" drive away, because I was traveling extremely early the next morning with a friend who was staying in the hotel. I DID NOT take the other room in the other hotel, and crashed in my friend's room instead. The clerk (polite and friendly) said I had to take it up with Reservation Counter, since that was how I made my reservation. Reservation Counter has yet to get back to me. Also, the hotel has yet to get back to me. Seems like I got taken for almost two hundred bucks.
I booked a reservation with this company, and they double booked me and double charged my credit card. When I tried to rectify and cancel ONE of the reservations for a refund on that reservation (Not both) I was told that they could not cancel the reservations, and that I would be charged the FULL $1200+. When I contacted the hotel chain directly, they said their hands were tied as it was a "third party reservation" through a company affiliated with Expedia.
VERY BAD. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICES AGAIN.
From the time I made reservations on line to the check in time and the check out time, the quality of service and accommodation was excellent. The physical facility was
very attractive and welcoming. Young adults at the desk were friendly, efficient, and
basically people who would make their employers proud in terms of how they were
doing their job....personable and efficient. The room was adequate size, very comfortable beds, attractive and clean. For me the standout was the excellent continental breakfast---good variety, easy place to sit/drink coffee/chat.
It may have been that I was at a destination wedding and would have enjoyed myself no matter what, but honestly, I think this may have been one of the most
pleasant, comfortable hotels I've stayed at in a long time. Price was very reasonable as well. Thank you for a lovely visit!
Awesome way to book a trip!
I was very disappointed in this reservation. Be aware that it is a prepay reservation! I made it 2 days ago for the middle of September, and it is already showing on my credit card. I immediately cancelled it, but no refund has shown up yet. Talked to a customer service rep who resided in Guatemala! Needless to say he could not understand half of what I was trying to explain. Will NEVER use this again. Oh and a PS: got the reservation for $10 less by booking directly with the hotel!!
Called to Reserve a smoking room and was qouted a price. I specified smoking room more than once to make sure it was understood what I wanted. I was told not a problem, smoking room it is, so I reserved the room and you took payment from my visa immediately. I decided to check the web site again and site said no smoking rooms or on property. I called back to cancel because of the false information I recieved when I booked the room and to top it off they were refunding my visa IN 3 WEEKS. WHAT IS THAT ? OTHER PLACES DON'T CHARGE YOU UNTIL YOU USE THEIR SERVICE. You didn't even try to deny that I was told ok for a smoking room. I am very disappointed in the false information I recieved from you and it is a good thing I checked web site before I travelled 500 klm to find out you totaly LIED to me. Would not have been a happy camper. I suggest you make sure your people give customers the proper info or they shoudn't be working for you and if it is because of the company telling staff what to say to customers then shame on you.
I requested two queen beds and when I checked in I had one king. Apparently my room was given to someone else because nothing else was available. I had made my reservation more than 30 days out and put it on my credit card when I made the reservation. It was a NONSMOKING room, but you can see they have me as a smoking room.
A neophyte at online booking, I recently made a last-minute late-night attempt via Reservation Counter only to find I'd inadvertently signed up for unexpected "resort" fees added to the room price, including a mandatory "self-valet" fee if I opted out of the ($30 additional) hotel valet fee. In addition, the hotel had a no cancellation refund policy.
Despite the stated policy, I frantically called back Reservation Counter. The agent blessed with receiving my followup call explained that RC has no authority to reverse charges but offered to call the hotel. The hotel desk clerk on duty also had no authority to reverse the charges but put the RC agent on hold until a manager could be reached. Likewise on hold myself, I felt the connection go dead. "Well," I worriedly thought, "this would be a convenient way for RC to get out of this."
I called RC back; while I was speaking with a different agent, my earlier blessed agent reconnected with me -- their entire system had gone down. But: she had secured in the meantime more than I had dared hope -- not merely a cancellation of the resort add-on fees but , despite that hotel's stated policy, a full refund. At that point, my faith in human nature renewed, and worn out from my hour-long adventure, I opted to forgo looking for alternate lodging and hung up.
A few minutes later, the RC agent who had secured my full refund called me back. She was genuinely concerned that I would be arriving the next night in a mountain town with, as yet, nowhere to sleep, and she exerted considerable effort to figure out, with me, the geography of the town and the most appropriate addresses to fit my goals. I was considerably touched, as her accent, like everyone else's at RC led me to place her thousands of miles from a town which is a three-hour drive from my home.
From start to finish, I had spoken with three RC agents and with their supervisor -- all with similar accents. Here at home, I could not have been dealt with in a more thorough, genuinely caring manner.
When planning future trips, Reservation Counter will be my very first connection.
Our room was beautiful and spacious. And, we had a beautiful view with a spacious balcony to sit and enjoy our coffee on. The customer service desk was professional and courteous to us. Reservations were easy to make and we will definitely be going back when we are in Atlanta!!
I have never been to Sacramento so had no idea of mileages I needed from airport to motel and then to the arena and my reservationist was able to give me both! He knew when he was 'going over the amount of miles I wanted' -- just as if he was taking the trip with me. I didn't have to say, "no that's too far as he had already said, it is a couple miles further than you requested, but...." I felt very confident working with him.
