My Beautiful Kitchen & Bathroom Reviews 

Do not use this company. We had a bathroom fitted last year. Still trying to fix issues . Ignoring our emails and messages. Only offered to send out fitter who caused the problems in the first place who was originally no longer working for company due to bad workmanship and customer complaints. Now being offered jobs with them. Finish was unprofessional and broke our toilet unit tried to patch up , didn't tell us . Only found this out when we couldn't get access. Now taking further action against the company.
We did a lot of research before deciding to go with My Beautiful Bathrooms as their reviews were excellent but our experience has been very poor.

From start to finish this has been an unbelievable experience. The sales team were very helpful and professional. The bathroom fitter Chris from CM2 plumbing was amazing. Very professional and cleaned up after he was finished. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

This company did a wonderful job installing a truly beautiful new bathroom in my Edinburgh home. From the outset Lauren the designer was immensely helpful and really listened to what I wanted. Stuart, who oversaw the installation, was very easy to deal with, friendly, professional and hard working, as were Jack, Richie and Christoph. I am delighted with the result and highly recommend this company.

I am leaving 3 stars as this is very much a review of two halves, where the installation and aftercare provided by Stuart and his team was exemplary. Their attention to detail and consideration towards us was almost always second to none. Fitting work was completed efficiently end December 2024.

However, our job required removal of a non supporting wall to convert a smaller kitchen and separate dining room which in turn required a building warrant. It was extremely disappointing to us that the MBK office were unable to provide any support towards obtaining the necessary building warrant and the consequential steps leading to the completion certificate. We also discovered during this process that a smoke detector specified in the drawing had been overlooked, requiring remedial work to fit. This currently leaves us with the expense required to completely repaint our ceiling to deal with the hole needed to provide necessary wiring for this additional smoke detector.

Obviously given that Stuart cannot be expected to to deal with this side of the business as well as everything else he does, it didn’t really surprise me that he was unsure of the paperwork required to progress this. I reiterate that I feel someone in the office should have the knowledge required to progress this on behalf of your customers. I’m sure our job wasn’t the first job to require a building warrant!

As an additional expense we had to engage the services of a building consultant to prepare the necessary drawings, and have a structural report prepared to confirm that our wall was non structural.

I then had to use the eBuilding Standards Portal and navigate through the process with the various supporting forms, pictures and paperwork in order to obtain the necessary completion certificate which we now have, granted 1st September 2026.

As I’m sure that our job isn’t the only one requiring a building warrant please can I suggest that you either get someone in your office trained in this respect, or hire someone who has this knowledge. For this aspect of our job, it saddens me to leave one star.

I will be happy to to provide details of the building consultant and structural engineer we used so you can at least provide this as appropriate while you address what appears to be an important knowledge deficiency in your office.

Clarification following MBK’s much appreciated response is below

Your website section headed One Stop Service says you will “manage your project…”. Hopefully it is clear that we did not experience a one stop service on this regard having had to get the building warrant arranged, drawings prepared and then the associated completion certificate. Also please note that I have achieved this myself. The whole point of this part of the review is to highlight something where I felt I could have had better support from your admin team. For example knowing what electrical safety, gas safety, fire detection certification forms were required. Stuart was unable to provide this information and thankfully we got there in the end by trawling through the ebuilding portal user guide and thankfully help from the team once the requirements were established. This feedback is intended to be constructive and not to slate an otherwise good experience. Perhaps you should provide links to an external building consultant should one be required?

Overall, we are satisfied with our new bathroom. Not everything worked well though. The gap between the showroom sales team, the suppliers and the fitter meant that some materials were late and others damaged. The design, as approved, turned out to be hard to achieve. A 5 day job took 7. Credit to the fitter who got it all to work. Also - a lot of materials were left behind in our garage; we asked for them to be picked up but got no response.

Absolutely over the moon with my new bathroom. Love it

Kelly in the Glasgow showroom was really helpful & suggested a few designs for us.
Showing us the plan and images of how it would look. Lots of different styles, colours and ideas to choose from.

My previous bathroom was 18 years old & looked a bit dated with built in vanity units and bath.
I chose to get a walk in shower installed instead of a new bath as I rarely used it.

Ben came out to go over the final bathroom plans and design with us before we went through the payment at the showroom for the bathroom products which we did & we’re happy to do.

The bathroom fitters/ insulation team get paid separately on completion of the bathroom. We waited 8-10 weeks for the job to start.

Martin and John were absolutely amazing and we honestly couldn’t have wished for better people to fit our new bathroom. They were really hardworking, reliable, organised and lovely professional men.

There was a few minor issues which was addressed and resolved by Martin ie the pipe work behind the original vanity units ( you don’t really know what’s behind the old units until it’s ripped out ) However Martin worked his fantastic workmanship skills within a few hours to sort this out.

The average timeline is 5 days ( Monday-Friday) for completion however ours ran into a few days over. Which we were absolutely fine with that to get our perfect bathroom completed. Martin did not ask for anymore money for this which is fantastic as a lot of workers would ask for more if they worked more days. He stuck to his original quote and contract.

I would highly recommend My beautiful kitchens and bathrooms and I’m glad we chose this company for our perfect bathroom.

The service from the initial planning to the installation was smooth and very professional. The fitters Pawel and Jurek provided a good service and always tidied up every day before leaving. I am really happy with my new bathroom and would highly recommend My beautiful Kitchen and Bathrooms to anyone looking for a new bathroom.

We had a full kitchen refit and full ensuite refit. Price is extremely good compared to other competitors. Gary and his team of fitters couldn't have been better. Really good job done. Always wants to make sure your happy with what's been done and went above and beyond for myself and my husband. Can't thank him and his team enough. Really pleased with finished result.

Customer service from the showroom speaking to Amanda to Euan’s team doing the work on the bathroom was second to none. Excellent communication all throughout process and couldn’t have went any smoother! Would highly recommend anyone getting a bathroom from this company!

We found My Beautiful Kitchen & Bathrooms through social media and absolutely loved their videos, the quality of their work and the fact they’re a family-run business offering everything from design right through to installation.

We booked a showroom appointment with Ewan in Glasgow and he was amazing from the start. We genuinely had so much fun sitting with him for a couple of hours going through our wish list and watching our kitchen come to life in front of us! We made a few tweaks along the way and nothing was ever an issue. We then had two home visits, first with Ewan and then Benn, the owner, who came out in May for our final design check. Benn is so knowledgeable at what he does and the whole team were always really helpful.

My only niggle, just to be completely fair, was the timescale. We had been advised a few times that it would be around 6–8 weeks from payment, so we paid promptly based on that, but due to how busy they were it ended up being around 12/13 weeks. It was a little disappointing at the time, however they genuinely did everything they could to bring the date forward for us and, now that it’s finished, it was absolutely worth the wait!

A huge special mention has to go to Gary Anderson and his team who carried out the fitting. We chose to have the fitting arranged through My Beautiful Kitchen & Bathrooms because we wanted it to be as much of a “one-stop shop” as possible, particularly with a young baby and not wanting the stress of organising and coordinating lots of different trades ourselves — and I’m so glad we did.

Gary and his team were absolutely phenomenal. His attention to detail has really made the kitchen for us. Everything is immaculate, nothing is out of line and the finish just looks so high quality. He even took the time to realign our patio doors which had dropped and had been bothering us for ages — something he absolutely didn’t have to do, but it was so appreciated.

They arrived on time every single day and Yanni, his labourer, worked incredibly hard and has to be one of the tidiest tradesmen I’ve ever come across, which I really appreciated! Lee the electrician was brilliant too — such a lovely guy who went above and beyond, fitting a couple of extra sockets for us and changing our light switches. The plumber and plasterer were both brilliant as well. Every single trade involved was friendly, efficient and took real pride in their work.

We honestly cannot believe this is our kitchen. It’s exactly what we pictured and more, and we finally have our dream kitchen. We’re so grateful to everyone involved for making the whole experience such a positive one and for giving us a kitchen we absolutely love.

I recently had a new bathroom fitted and I cannot be happier with the experience. Kelly was my bathroom designer and was so helpful and friendly. The customer service was excellent, before and after installation and didn’t sign off the job as complete until everything was completed to my satisfaction. The installers stuck to the planned time allocation to complete the job and did an excellent and careful job. They also left the working areas clean and tidy before leaving at the end of each day, a bonus with two curious cats in the household! Im so grateful to everyone involved in the design, installation and customer service for everything, I absolutely love my new bathroom!

Amy in the Ayr showroom was very knowledgeable and listened to my ideas. She answered all my questions and we very quickly came up with a design for my new bathroom. The whole process was hassle free from initial appointment, confirming the design and arranging a fitting date. There were no hidden costs and the quote was very clear.
Kevin was my main fitter and his work was to a high standard as was Mark the tiler. Kevin kept me updated throughout the whole fitting. The project started on time and finished when planned. I received follow up messages and also a call from the customer service manager Sharon just to ensure I was happy with my bathroom. I am delighted with how it has turned out and I would recommend My Beautiful to anyone looking for a new bathroom.

Would highly recommend My Beautiful Kitchens and Bathrooms. From our designer David to Stuart and his team of fitters the service was excellent.
We also decided to add revamp of downstairs toilet to our original order and work on both was completed to the highest standard.
They went out of their way to source alternative flooring when supplier could not provide our original choice. We are really pleased with their alternative selection.
From start to finish they provided the highest level of customer service and would highly recommend this company.

Really happy with our new bathroom, My Beautiful Bathrooms did a fantastic job. Really happy with the standard of work and the finished bathroom. We had our bathroom renovated in March, and I want to start by saying that the fitting team were excellent. They were professional, hardworking, and the quality of their installation was fantastic. The bathroom itself looks beautiful, and they deserve full credit for their work.

Unfortunately, our experience with the products and advice we received has been very disappointing.

While some of the products have been perfectly fine, several have proven to be poor quality or unsuitable for our needs. As first-time buyers of this type of bathroom setup, we relied on the company’s advice, but no one took the time to explain which products were better suited to our situation or the pros and cons of the different options.

In just four months:

* The shower hose burst overnight, flooding the bathroom and damaging our hallway LVT flooring.
* The bidet has already developed faults.
* The pressure valve doesn’t actually provide meaningful pressure control—it simply changes the water flow.
* The gas water heater has also been disappointing. It doesn’t provide warm water unless the heating is running, which isn’t a practical design for our household. Had someone explained this before purchase, we would likely have chosen a different option.

Given the quality of some of these products, I feel they are overpriced and don’t represent good value for money.

The fitting team deserve 5/5 for their workmanship, but the company itself falls short because of the products supplied and the lack of guidance during the purchasing process. Overall, I’d rate the company 3/5.

Post reply edit: there was no outside contractor, that’s not something we mentioned on the call we had today. The bidet pressure was very high so we purchased a better one and changed it, there were no changes to any plumbing, no external contractor was contacted, none of this. The issue was simple, pressure on the bidet was too high so we changed the bidet head, the hose wasn’t changed and the plumbing wasn’t touched. The hose that exploded was supplied and fitted(along with the entire system up to that point) by my beautiful kitchen & bathroom. I believe dodging responsibility by blaming a third party you invented is not suitable for a reputable business and this has damaged my view of you even further.
As for the heater, we’re not saying the heater is faulty, we’re saying the advice and recommendations we received when we were selecting our bathroom was lacking, had we been informed of the facts we might have made a different choice, while we did choose a towel radiator, we expected it to still heat the bathroom adequately, which it hasn’t done once since we bought(god help us come winter)
I really hope this isn’t the experience everyone gets when dealing with you guys as we are very disappointed.
