If you want to be working for very little money this is the company for you, I worked for Marketforce on and off for 5 years now, They pay you £2fee and £2 reimbursement for visiting Aldi, so what you need to work out how far is the Aldi from you and is it worth your time and fuel costs to get there?.
Once completed the report will go off to proof reading, who if it’s bad will sent it back to you, asking for more information here is an example “ I said an Aldi I just did, did not do the greeting or adjust the speed when there was a visible queue” I got return asking for more information and how I knew they had not adjusted the speed??, the proof readers try and turn your true and honest view of the service into something the client wants!.
Also don’t forgot you need to give them your phone number they say in case they need to contact you regarding results, real reason its so they can bombbarred you when a job in the area needs doing, remember its them that has taken the work from the said company, not you so if you don’t want to do it, tell them NO and hang the phone up, and when they call again just don’t pick up. They don’t get the message like I had 13 calls in one day.. I actually blocked their number thank god the Samsung has that feature, then got an email saying my number is invalided lol, no its not just your blocked haha.
Avoid this company, they make nearly impossible to get paid, you have to wait OVER a month to get paid. They will constantly return you work submissions and they will do so near payday, as not to pay you by payday and make you wait a whole new month after correcting the issue. They are a close to a SCAM as they come!
That's why they constantly use other Names ( MarketForce AKA Certified Field Associates AKA CastForce), cause people are getting wise to them so they have to use other names.
The work is Okay from Cheap Brand Supermarkets to Whitbread pubs, But you won’t become rich any time soon, They pay you a Reimbursement which sometimes won’t cover the cost of the meal they want you to buy, They claim that the £2 fee for the cheap supermarket is okay then why in Ireland does the same company offer £5? And they charge Aldi £20 per visit!! When its you the shopper that does all the work, they just sit in Milton Keynes and put jobs online and summit the report. The proof readers don’t have a clue what they are doing, they sent a query on one job I did I sent the same answer back and wow it was accepted!. Some staff are nice, and some staff are up their own arses, depends who you speak to, The best one I have spoken too Is Siobhan Gallie who does Aldi among others she is always friendly and helpful.
I've been doing assignments for Marketforce for a few months now and haven't had any problems. They pay promptly twice a month. Occasionally they query something really simple which is annoying but not a big deal.
Reporting is a bit tedious with their system but I've used worse.
You get a good variety of assignments and they don't harass you to take them. I don't do a great deal, just the odd one here and there if I'm going to be in the area, so it's some good freebies and a little extra money in the bank.
I wouldn't expect to make a career out of it, but it gets me out and about and the assignments are usually quite open to being able to take other people or kids which is nice.
I used to do assignment for this company for almost a year now. But I found out they give themselves the right to remove payments from your account time-to-time. Recently they just removed 2 payments of my assignment claiming I didn't follow the instructions. The funny part is they confirmed the payment and gave me full score for it, it is just all of a sudden after a week they contacted me and saying they are not going to pay me! They are totally scam as they even don't honour their terms and conditions! Beware if you are going to do anything for them to make them richer...
I found the company quite fair, they always pay on time and there are lots of different assignments. The customer service is very good, staff is friendly and solve problems really quickly.
They pay every two weeks. the questionnaires are nicely structured and easy to complete but sometimes lengthy. They process the questionnaire usually within 24hours so you get paid in the next payment round. I really like that staff dont bother with phone calls and dont harass mistery shoppers.
if you have any questions you can always call the coordinator and they solve the problem/answer queires very quickly.
Big minus is that the fees are low, usually you get reimbursement so your expenses are paid but you wont earn anything. you get a lot of freebies though.
The pay rates are the lowest of six companies I do work for. Lots of the worthwhile
visits no longer appear eg Hotel stays so unless you like fast food especially at
airports/railway stations, or betting shops or a £2 fee for a budget supermarket there
is little to commend it. They also have the slowest, most tedious reporting system,
why on earth anyone thought the "accordion" was a good idea escapes me. Worst
of all the proof readers at times at times seem to have little or no understanding
of the questions asked and an inability to read the answers correctly. If challenged
they invariably back down, I find that sending them an e-mail inviting them to explain
which bit of my answer they did not understand usually results in the assignment
being suddenly cleared for payment. On a positive note I find the Managers who
look after projects to be very friendly, helpful and competent.
I found working for Market Force (previously Retail Eyes) quite fun to begin with - got the odd free meal, small amounts of money which, to their credit, was usually promptly paid... But then I realised that it's actually taking me a good few hours to carry out the assignments, make notes, take and upload the photos, scan and upload the receipts, make very specific observations for fear of not being reimbursed if I couldn't remember certain details and fill in the tedious and extremely badly designed questionnaires where I had to think of many ways to answer the exceedingly detailed and idiotic, often "yes" or "no" questions with a minimum of so many words! Often the same question was rephrased in several ways and sometimes the reports would be queried if I didn't guess what concoctions were apparently expected of me, and it became too much work for the sake of a free sandwich and the extremely modest fee.
On one of my last assignments for these people, I was sent to a big bank's restaurant by mistake. The "handler" apologised to me in a most insincere and mechanical manner and offered me £5 in compensation for all my hours of wasted time - this including the numerous phone calls I had to make to him and the bank's representative, waiting at the bank's premises, not to mention my bike parking fee of £1... All this after I had gone out of my way to help this particular "handler" out by carrying out some very urgent assignments for him in the past at short notice. I have come to realise that this company treats their mystery shoppers as scum and the recent 25p reduction to the fees is the final insult they've added to my injury.
On another occasion I completed a restaurant assignment only to have it queried with questions such as "until what time were they serving food?" which hadn't appeared in their poorly designed instructions. I couldn't be bothered to do their homework for them and ended up being forced to forfeit the assignment, paying for a meal that I wouldn't have otherwise chosen to have. I have also been sent to a location that turned out to be closed. They did pay the very modest fee and apologised in a rather casual manner, but it certainly did not make me feel particularly valued as a mystery shopper.
Recommended only for those desperate enough to trade hours of their time and the humiliation of having to answer extremely idiotic questions, take photos, upload receipts, respond to urgent queries and be expected to accept pitiful compensation and contemptuous treatment for time and effort wasted due to RE's own mistakes in return for £2.75 and a free sandwich or sometimes no fee at all - just a reimbursement toward a dinner in a pub.

Website not working, so you can't upload receipts, miss deadlines then get penalised for late reports !
Fail to pay valid expense claims.
Pity they can't organise a mystery shop of themselves to demonstrate what an incompetent bunch they are.

Have been using these for a few years. Had 20-30 free meals out and about, either much cheaper or occasionally worked out completely free. You won't make money, but if you enjoy eating out its a good way to save considerable money and try a few new places. I've never had any sort of problem getting them to pay up either, so maybe the other reviewer had an unlucky experience.
Overall something different to pass the time and socialise on the cheap with well known brands. Just do as asked in assignment notes and you will have no problems.
I joined Retail Eyes in July this year and stacked up around £68 worth of successful assignments for them. I have now stopped shopping for them as they have failed to pay me 4 times!! I am a patient person and understood at first that there may be a genuine mistake and gave them the benefit of the doubt. So after contacting them and talking to a rather stroppy young girl in accounts, she told me they would email me with the details of the problem. I received this email later in the day telling me to re-enter my payment details as there is a problem with my sort code!! I knew I HAD entered my bank details correct, but despite this I did it anyway (making sure I had 2 witnesses this time!!!) and waited for the next payment date.
When I was failed to be paid again, I contacted them again asking what had happened and AGAIN they accused me of failing to enter my payment details correctly!!!! They kept telling me to re-enter my payment details and wait a whole 2 weeks yet again, but this time I knew something was going on so I demanded an alternative payment method or I will take legal action.
They finally sent me a cheque of part of the balance I was owed but informed me that for the rest of my balance I enter my details correct as this cheque was a one off!!! What a cheek!!!!! I have risked entering a total different bank account information in for this next phantom payment date but obviously have not been paid for this either!!!!! Still awaiting my final balance!!!
But rest assured i will NEVER do any more work for them again!!!!!!
