As already said. An exclusively left wing shout tank. Any other views are shouted down by the pack, inluding the mods.
Avoid if you're not extreme left. They accused me of racism and banned me in a week. Beware. If you're looking for discussion, this is NOT the place.

As title suggests it’s a left wing echo chamber, which doesn’t welcome any views different to theirs. There’s disrespect, swearing and abuse to some members, forming cliques and piling on posters they don’t like, getting them banned. Unfortunately, some moderators don’t moderate fairly.

Supportive crowd, knowledgeable and informed. Would recommend

The content on the main pages of the site is generally excellent and informative, providing independent coverage of important topics.

The forums section provides a lively community discussion facility which covers many diverse interests and can be difficult for newcomers to fit into due to the robust and intolerant nature of many contributors. Stick with it and you will find there are erudite and intellectual people who enjoy debating all sorts of obscure and worthy subjects and a breadth of knowledge available. One of the world’s great modern humorists, “Teuchter” remains active at the time of writing.

In short, a site worth dedicating time to which will not reward a casual reader so much and may in fact repel the faint of heart who are easily offended. Join with caution, enjoy at length.
