Five months have now passed

Five months have now passed, and despite repeatedly explaining that this situation is affecting my mental health and finances, there has still been no amendment to my credit file.
I have also explained that this could potentially affect my ability to obtain employment elsewhere, as the information could remain on my credit file for six years if it is not removed. It is extremely frustrating to be repeatedly given assurances that something will be resolved, only for the opposite to happen.

I spoke to a manager yesterday, who specifically assured me that the information would be removed from my credit file and that she would send me a letter confirming this. However, the letter I received actually says the complete opposite. It confirms that no amendment will be made, directly contradicting what I was told by the manager.

I have been offered £50 in compensation, but this does not resolve the actual complaint or address the issue I have been raising for the past five months. It feels as though the company is very quick to close complaints and offer compensation without actually resolving the underlying problem.

At this point, I simply want to leave this company, but I remain tied into contracts with them. The ongoing stress of having to repeatedly chase this matter, explain the impact it is having on me, and then receive conflicting information has left me emotionally and mentally exhausted.

I feel completely let down by the way this matter has been handled. I was given a clear assurance by a manager, yet the written response I received directly contradicts that assurance. I need the company to take responsibility, investigate what I was promised, and actually resolve the issue rather than simply closing the complaint and offering compensation.

I am asking for the credit file amendment to be properly addressed and for the company to provide a clear explanation as to why I was told it would be removed when the subsequent letter states that it will not be.

The worst network company

The worst network company. Absolutely disgraceful.

I wish I had never signed up with them. They lock you into a 3-year contract and provide little to no help when you need it.

Terrible customer service and a very disappointing experience.

I would not recommend them. Stay away!

The most worthless of them all

The most worthless of them all. Absolute thieving fraudsters. Imagine having only one bar of service and my meeting keeps cutting off every single second. I have literally been trying to download a 33-second video from Canva for the past 5 hours. Courtesy of this useless network provider.

When I finally told them I want to cancel, guess who started begging me to stay and immediately yanked 9 pounds off the bill? The same bill that increased three times in the space of 5 months, while they argue it only happens once a year. Absolute thieves.

They said they would connect me to an IT technician to fix the network issue. The IT tech claimed they couldn't hear me and said I was breaking up. Lmao, courtesy of you clowns? Then I asked to transfer me back to the first guy so I could cancel. Guess who just kept quiet on the phone with me for minutes? He refused to say hello and refused to answer my "hi." I could literally hear him breathing. Manipulative thieves. I heard people talking in the background, but this clown kept quiet hoping that I would hang up when I got tired and never cancel. You clowns, I am calling again to cancel and then reporting your thieving asses to the ombudsman.

This company own Smarty which is a…

This company own Smarty which is a division of 3G. Both are totally wretched to deal with, Smarty' s EU roaming does not work in Romania, plus they count Romania as an add on charge, even though it is an EU country. Their customer service agents continually ask for the same information. But no attempt to solve or pass issues on to senior managers to dealt with to resolve it. Just fantasy excuse, one even told me to put my sim into a new phone? Who takes a spare phone around with them when they are travelling in Europe. In late February, so I complained to 3G complaints once I got back to the UK. Only to get more fantasy excuses, so I instructed them to close my account under "The right to be Forgotten" clause within the GDPR regulations. Only to find out on Saturday the 27th that 3G complaints team, did not bothered closing my account! Having now chased them on it and told to immediately close my account under the above clause. Result yet more excuses. They are the worst airtime and mobile company, I have ever had to deal with. Arrogant is the best description of them, for this review I could describe them in much blunter terms.

Best advice just don't touch them under any circumstances.

They are so utterly stupid or should that be arrogant?, they actually delivered a new sim card on the 31st of December, knowing I had cancelled the order on the afternoon of the 27th by email and received email confirmation of its cancelation.

Their excuses from their Data Protrection team, are as truthful as any statement made by the Kremilin, (very well know for false manufactured fantasy statements and claims) just pure fantasy about their actions. Nothing is ever their fault, always the customers fault. in claiming optional retention of personal details which have been cancelled under the consumer''s "Right to be Fortgotten" clause in the GDPR requlations. To 3G are a manditory retention clause for them. Wonder what the regulators would think of that then???

Now I use a major Austrian airtime company with excellent services and outstanding level of courtesy customer service. Everthing 3G and Smarty are not!!! Or very be too!!!

Provably some of the worst broadband and customer service i have experienced. The broadband was very poor. I could only use one device at a time. When trying to report this, theres no contact number to speak to an actual person, you get dumped with a poorly trained chat bot that has no idea. I had almost a year of being with them and not once had i been able to actually speak to a human to sort my problems out. Avoid this company altogether.

Abysmal mobile broadband

Abysmal, if you’re thinking of getting involved with this company then don’t! They are the worst ever at getting a fault fixed, waiting 7 days for a response is impossible to comprehend how any business can suggest that 7 working days to acknowledge a fault or acknowledge a complaint is acceptable in any way, if anyone is considering mobile broadband then I cannot recommend them, they are terrible at tech problem resolution and are frustrating to call for an update as the waiting time for an agent who can find anything out is impossible

I am extremely disappointed !!!

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at 3G. My 18-year-old daughter attempted to cancel her contract within what we understood to be the allowed period. She reached out on time and used the pack code provided, yet because her cancellation was just 2 days beyond the 14-day window, we were told she must pay the full contract amount as a cancellation fee.

We escalated the issue and spoke to managers, hoping for some understanding or flexibility, but were met with complete unwillingness to help. They simply stated that nothing could be done and that we would have to pay in full. This is unacceptable treatment for a young customer trying to follow the process responsibly.

3G’s approach lacks basic empathy, common sense, and fairness. I would strongly caution anyone considering their service—beware of rigid policies and unhelpful customer support.

Whilst waiting for my final bill 3 g registered a late payment on my credit file , I could not pay the bill as they said I had to wait for it by post . The bill was dated 28th November due by the 1st December , it eventually arrived on the 4th December and I paid immediately, they registered a late payment on the 1st . Absolutely a joke of a company . Sure they did this out of spite because I was leaving them .
