I'd like to say that everything went great. Unfortunately for me, it didn't. I had bought a set of struts from 4WheelParts.com, or at least I thought I did. In their ad for a great deal on struts, it said that a customer service rep will be contacting me the next business day to determine what struts are the right ones for my 2003 tundra. Not only did I not hear anything at all, they waited 13 days (after I called them) to tell me they didn't have the "shocking deal" going on for my truck, and that now, I had to buy them separately, (more money). They gave me the run-around, and I honestly think if I didn't contact them, they would have never tried reaching me, kept my money, and continued on.
Bottom line: I do not believe they care about their customers, or at least thats how I felt. Maybe I got one person who didn't care. Very inefficient company if you ask me. This all could have been avoided if their ads were more specific, and they didn't HAVE to call their customers, they just need to incorporate the questions needed asking when purchasing products. Human error is the weak link. Absolutely infuriated over this, what a waste of time! Hope this helps anyone. Tip: contact the company to confirm your order asap. Because they won't contact you. If you can find what you're looking for somewhere else, I wouldn't do business with these guys if I had to do it again.
well wish i had seen these reviews before i ordered through these guys again. I ordered a bunch of stuff on sept 29 and sept 30 i had a phone call from a sales guy saying that my wheels would be on backorder until oct 13 but soon as they arrived they would get mounted and shipped so i said ok and ordered few other things while talking to him on the phone. oct 15 i called and they said yes your wheels has arrived just waiting to have the tires mounted then they would ship by end of the week. so few days went by emailed them again and got response saying yes they will ship monday or tuesday from our texas warehouse wednesday called them to see if order was shipped and the lady said nope waiting on our california warehouse to mount the tires before they ship. so its now oct 23 and still don't know where my items are either texas or california and no word on when they will ship out. last order i made was 3 years ago and 1/4 of my order was lost and took 2 months to get everything and i said i would never order through these guys again but figured i would try it again seems the prices seemed right but boy was i wrong i could have bought locally and had the parts weeks ago. you wont screw me the 3rd time thats for sure. and besides that i make many large purchases every year through online shopping for truck parts and never have these problems with other companies.
I ordered the rigid industries 2x2 cube led fog lights from the rigid industries website thinking there was two lights, but once they got here there was only one. So I went to 4 wheel parts where he said he'd have to order it and it would be here in 3 days (Monday) so I called this morning and talked to the same guy and he said, "it will be here at 12" so I came in around 3 and there was only 1 guy working and he went and checked the back then came out and told me there was nothing there for me to pick up. Then he told me it would be here by Friday... I asked why did he tell me MONDAY if it wasn't coming until FRIDAY.
Literally so mad...
I ordered 5 rims and 2 center caps from them and it took 5 weeks for the rims to ship and the center caps still haven't arrived. they don't tell you if they are on back order or if they are special order. the only positive thing was that the shipping only took 2 days and they were quick to explain why I haven't got my order yet, probably because this happens alot
Ordered 2 Bumpers 6 weeks ago. Every week I call, they say 2 more weeks. They do not respond to emails sent to their customer service alias.
Frustrated I contacted the manufacture of the bumpers.
They stated lead time is 3 to 5 days.
Do yourself a favor, and buy from somewhere else

Poor communication, and not ready for eCommerce
I ordered a hitch ball cover and 3 days later received an email that my suspension kit was not available (suspension was spelled incorrectly, FYI). I responded and found out that was an error, but my part was also not available. They offered to cancel the order and give a refund and I agreed and bought the part from elsewhere. I did not receive the refund so called them and they said they never charged me (which my statement showed was false), so they refused to give a refund. I then received the part from them (weeks after it was cancelled and I received the part from elsewhere). They said that I had the part and did not care that I had received it from elsewhere and demanded that I paid return shipping if I wanted a refund. Totally unacceptable customer service when I had proof that this was all in their error!

I bought a set of plugs & wires. The plugs & wires added 15 horsepower and 17 ft.-lbs of torque. My Jeep has been starting faster and running better. The parts even increased my mpg.
I like the options to chose from. You should make sure that they have them in stock before you order them. Try other sites, some are even cheaper and have the parts you want in stock.
I purchased taffy door lockers from you on may 29th and finally cancelled my order after being told by your customer service on two separate occasions that these items weren't in stock and we're on back order. The first time was 12 days after I ordered, which I had to call you to find out, and the second was today 3 weeks after. On the first time i was told they would be in by today and now I was told it would be another 3 week's. No thanks, I will shop else where.
Some people were better than others to deal with at 4wheelparts but there was a problem with my order.
Once you have to try to contact someone to help things will fall apart fast. You will spend long periods on hold, looooonnnnggg periods on hold. If you call sales the phone will be picked up but they get RUDE if you ask for a manager or someone real to talk to and help you because you have already spent a long time on hold. What will they do? Insult you and put you back on hold. Did I mention when you are waiting for someone to answer the phone for anything other than sales it can be a looooonnnnggg time!
I will never shop there again.
Prices might be good but if anything happens and you need help good luck.
Plus if your time is worth anything and you spend as much time on hold as I did for this one transaction it kinda takes the bargain out of things.
Ordered 5 products, 3 out of the 5 products were out of stock and there was no way of knowing that. Without knowing the inventory I paid for 3 day shipping. After two weeks of only receiving 2 out of the 5 products i called customer service and the lady said there is nothing they can do and that my 3 day shipping wouldn't be honored since it was used on the other two products. If i would known that I would have never purchased from them to start. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
This made my truck look like its ready to go off road and find some fun. The driver side was a snap to install just like the instructions, The passenger side gave us some trouble, until we rented a spring compressor then it went in with no problems.

Decent design, for a good price. Relatively easy installion. Must disconnect axle from hub/knuckle, strut will come out but not go back in with spacers attached.

I was surprised when I ordered my wheels how fast it got here for the bulkiness of shipping wheels. I was called to get vehicle info for lug nuts which was very painless. I would recommend buying from 4wheel parts. Their prices are competitive and have a reputation for offroad equipment.
I have started shopping here first. They actually have items in stock. Unlike others that say they have it in stock.... Then mysteriously it goes to back order.
I had one minor issue with a item ordered through 4wheel and it was fixed immediately .
I ordered my lift kit on may 12th and its now April 4th and I still haven't received it. Pretty disappointed and when I called it took 45a minutes to talk to someone and they told me they were waiting a the last part to put in the box. Didn't make sense to me when its just coil spacers. I thought free shipping was a great idea but unfortunately I've been let down. Wanted to get wheels from you next week but not sure I want to now. Let me know if you want to help me out

Ordered up some ball joints and control arm bushings for my Jeep from 4 Wheel Parts as they had the best prices for top notch parts. Went off without a hitch, fast delivery and everything was as expected.
Part i ordered was an Edge Insight CS. Unit didn't work out of the package, but still working with Edge to get fixed. If i can't get it fixed soon, i might need to return for a new unit. hope edge can fix their issue.
I ordered my first soft top for my jeep and found the 4 wheel parts site to be a great looking site with good prices, that's why I ordered not realizing you get what you pay for. After I ordered I never got any kind of confirmation e-mail which I was expecting after I read I would be getting one and after spending that much money the fact that I never heard back from the company made me think something was wrong. I contacted the company and the had my order which I was happy about but I thought it was weird I had to look into it when every other site I order from online will at least send you some kind of confirmation e-mail. Whatever. I get a phone call a couple of days later offering an extended warrantee for my soft top which would cover it against any kind of damage or vandalism which I thought was a good idea so I took it, the guy on the phone from 4 wheel parts told me I would be getting an e-mail with the details. A week later I still haven't heard from anyone, when I got someone on the phone they didn't know why I hadn't gotten any info yet regarding the warrantee I bought so they sent me the e-mail with all the details. The thing that bugs me is that 4 wheel parts had the time to charger my credit card for this warrantee but in a whole week couldn't find the time to contact me.
In the end I got my soft top on time but the customer service was lacking and I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. I wrote them an e-mail telling them this was my first and last time ordering which was ignored but I get an e-mail asking for a review.
This top was a great buy fits my jeep perfectly and was so easy to put on :-) I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely make other purchases from this company they were quick to respond to my email questioning if it would fit my jeep and the prices are excellent
I ordered a part from this company using the website, they charged my credit card the same day. The website boasts 10 day delivery. On the 14th day with no status from anyone I contacted customer service to find out what is going on. A day later I received an email that the item was on back order and not expected to ship for another 20 days. I waited the full 20 days, again, no status. I contacted customer service again get a tracking number or cancel my order... they waited until the vendor closed for a 3 day weekend before responding that the vendor had closed and they can't verify if it has shipped or not. The bottom line is, once they have your money, they do not care one bit if you get what you paid for or not.
I received my order sooner than expected and in good shape, other than one shock that the packaging was opened and re-taped. Also was missing the "Pro-Comp" sticker and zip tie for the shock boot- not a big deal.
Installation was OK, would've gone faster if my impact wrench wasn't a POS. I gained exactly 2" of lift on the front of my truck. After getting an alignment and installing new ball joints I've driven about 2,000 miles in 2 weeks and my truck still tracks straight down the road. At 80mph on the interstate the ride is smooth. At Lower speed over rough pavement the ride is rough and noisy.
Overall, the product works as advertised and is a good value.
I ordered some lift blocks for my F250 and had them shipped Ground. After waiting two weeks I still had not seen my parts and noticed that my checking account had been debited already. I checked the online status of my order and it said it was filled. I called customer service and they contacted the manufacturer immediately who said the parts had yet to be machined and were placed on backorder. That was yet another two weeks ago and I still havent heard about or seen my parts in a month now. The rep I talked with was helpful and Ive ordered multiple times before from 4wheelparts with no problem but its just bad practice to charge people for parts that are not en route or in my case, dont exist yet. I plan on contacting customer service again today and getting some clarification on the status of my order or getting a refund.
Fast shipping great price& product A+A+A+A+A+A+A NICE
Replaced a set of remote reservoir shocks with the ES 9000 and what a difference! The new smoother ride and softer shocks made the truck flow over bumps and act more like a 1/2 ton truck then ride like the 1-ton it is, especially when empty. Even with an eight inch Donahoe lift, the new shocks helped dampen the stiff springs enough to make the difference felt in the drivers seat.
For the money, these are very affordable, a high quality shock and as easy to replace. The body is large and the shaft appears strong enough to take the lifetime of abuse shocks are subject to. I purchased the boots to cover the shafts for extra protection, money well spent in my opinion.
The only problem was shipping time to get them...almost a full week.
Got my wheels and spare tire cover but there was zero communication on their behalf. A customer shouldn't have to call you just to get an order confirmation. Just order from summit or quadratec so you dont sit clenching your ass cheeks reading the reviews of this place after mistakenly ordering like I did
I had good success with the website and I would order from them again.
