Great parts shop, as far as repairs or installations, not so much....

I have had two different things done for me at the Tucson Four Wheel Parts store.
I ordered a set of tires and wheels. They ordered the wrong size wheel, then "didn't know I wanted the tires mounted and balanced" when they called and said they were ready.
They put on a set of very basic tubular bumpers. They never bothered to check that the rear door would clear the new bumper. It drags across the bumper. Did they mention it? No. Did they attempt to adjust it? No.
I am neither rude nor ignorant nor obnoxious, but at least one of the counter guys seems to hate the sight of me. I will buy my parts from the catalog from now on.
Will I go back to have anything done there ever again? No.

Still waiting

Im still waiting on a " backordered part its been almost 3 weeks now. I missed the mud bog and its looking like ill miss the next one as well. Would have been better if i could have separated items from my order so that the non- back ordered items could have shipped earlier.

Epic Fail

After waiting 15 days for the delivery date I was told it still had not shipped on the delivery date. My credit card was charged on the order date. Not acceptable service.

Last resort.

My experience with this company has been horrible. There shipping speed is a joke. Their customer service is also a joke. Trying to reach a person for customer care is absolutely a joke. It takes over an hour to get to talk to some. The two times I have tried it took so long I just wanted my money back. The only reason I order from here is because I can't get it elsewhere. This company is the last one I look at when I need something. I would rather pay twice as much for the same part just to avoid them.

Received half of my order.

I ordered a set of 5 tires, wheels and the salesperson got me a "deal" on 5 push through center caps that never showed up. Customer service has yet to return my calls and emails after a week. Product & Shipping prices were better than most, though still unhappy. I had to buy my caps from elsewhere with expedited shipping that was 5x more than the ones I ordered. In addition, I have not received a refund for the ones I already purchased from 4wheelparts.com. I would love to buy more from them but my repeated unpleasant experiences suggest to do otherwise. Proceed with caution.

Slow shipping, attitude, sold me items they didn't have and couldn't get. Do Not Trust.

I've bought twice now off these guys, first time my order took a while, and I never received any tracking or updates as to why the holdup, I called and the man who answered my call was decent enough. I was told the item was in high demand this time of year which I can understand I knew many guys ordering bodylifts at that time.

Many weeks later I got my lift kit, only a bolt missing so no harm done. I later went to order my Center Caps. After finding and ordering them, I attempted to use a web coupon code I was emailed with, however they have no clearly located button or section form for it. I placed my order, paid my shipping and waited. A week and a half later the online section suggests the item hasn't been shipped out yet. I call to find out not only is it not in stock, the item is back-ordered to all stores, yet the online system did not prompt or warn me of any inventory issue. Fair enough though it's only the first week of April, I did email to ask why I wasn't contacted about the stock issue, and I received a couple rude emails, full of snide attitude and belittlement over how they saved me on my shipping costs, which explains the holdup, even though the stock was back-ordered to begin with, which doesn't add up.

As of today, it was been a few days shy of 3 weeks, and the item is not shipped from the local dispatch yet. Think as a consumer, you can walk to the states and buy it in person for that amount of time, so naturally I called, and the poor guy was in Calgary so he couldn't tell me much apart from that it should theoretically arrive in Ontario tomorrow, and due to good Friday may not ship until Monday next week. Given local shipping takes a good week around here, that takes me to 4 weeks, one month of time to ship 4 metal caps that should have been in stock when I ordered them and was under a billed sale to an item. Lets not forget that in a competitive market you have options like summit racing, which I should have bought from before they too ran out of stock, which seem to always have their orders to me within 7 days, within pocket change of the shipping cost, and sometimes even better prices.

I emailed again tonight giving 4wheel the option to ship me something out by tomorrow night or refund me in full, and I received an email tonight around midnight, exactly quoted.

"I will refund your money tomorrow.

Terry"

Good work Terry, excellent customer service, I like the part where at any point in these weeks, anybody offered anything at all to keep me as a customer, you guys earned your newly growing negative reputation.

Bottom line? Go to summit.

Disappointed

Ordered seat covers on line, when I received them they did not look like the picture or description on the web site, not sure if it is manufacture problem or 4 Wheel Parts web site. Took back to my local store and they researched and ordered correct seat covers. Great bunch of guys.

I was sent what I ordered, it arrived on time, and the product was of better quality than I could have bought at a parts house.

This was a specialty exhaust part. I was not able to find it anywhere in a 50 mile radius. Very few websites had anything that would work either. 4 Wheel Parts had it in stock, and was able to put it in my hands in just a few days. Now I am back on the road, and very happy! Thank you!!

Wrong part sent to me. Paid for quick shipping never refunded the money.

I ordered an exhaust ad paid for quick shipping. Got the wrong exhaust so I had to drive an hour away from my house to the nearest 4wheelparts location (Indianapolis). They ordered me a new one. Had to go back. Week later to pick it up. I will never order online again from 4wheelparts.

Very good customer service.

I ordered tires for my vehicle because 4 Wheel had the best price. The tires were shipped to my home and when they arrived one tire was the wrong size. Dealing with the customer service people was quick and friendly. They arranged everything and in a few days I had the fourth tire. I will order from 4 Wheel again. Thanks.

Delayed delivery, no shipping info

Customer support for tracking was not pleasant on hold a few times over 25 minutes. I had to call the manufacuter to get my eta on the product. Also ordered parts from the manufacuter 2 days later after the purchase from 4wheelparts. The corbeau seat backs got to my house a week faster then the seat did.
