The service was terrible.

I ordered a pro comp stage 2 lift with the mx-6r adjustable shocks. First, it didn't come with all of the hardware packs, so I called their customer service. They were polite, but I ended up having to pay 265 extra dollars because of the hardware missing. Later, we found that both radius arms were driver side radius arms. This time, I got the radius arm after spending hours trying to get it lined out. They've had all that I had already went through on file, and they still wouldn't next day air the part for free. That was the first and last time I will ever order anything from 4 wheel parts.

Lazy Sales People

I am a new jeep owner and when i first came to this store a bout a month ago to purchase a smittybilt rear locking vault, i wanted to ask some few questions and i tried to ask 2 sales person and they both told me to give them a minute which i gave them a little over 23 minutes. i would expect this if the store was busy but they were only 3 people in the store. i finally ask again and said i just wanted to buy the vault. they did not seem enthusiastic to be there. once i got the item i got it without any keys and i called the store to see about returning it and whoever picked up the phone to assist was extremely lazy because he said that i needed to contact smittybilt to return it which i was about to argue with the person but i figured i already wasted my time.
a few weeks later i said i will give them a chance, i went in there to get information about adding a lift plus 35 inch wheels and bought a few items while waiting. still the worse service and no one ever came back to me so i can ask about the lift and tires. i decided to go somewhere else for my full lift kit and tires. i been telling friends of mine who are new jeep owners not to go there and recommended other place that specializes in jeeps and have amazing customer service.

Horrible experience with 4 Wheel Parts

I needed to replace the fuel tank skid plate on my 1991 Jeep wrangler YJ. On the 4 wheel parts web site, I was directed to the item I ordered that indicated: Fits 1976 to 1993 YJ Wrangler and CJ. After placing the order I replied with the order confirmation email from 4 wheel parts requesting a tracking number. They replied with the tracking number after the package was delivered. The shipping carton was falling apart and the delivery person warned me to be careful because the contents were falling out of the box. After receiving the skid plate, it was not the same design as the original skid plate I was replacing on my 1991 jeep wrangler yj. I emailed 4 wheel parts to ask what I needed to do to return the skid plate because the 4 wheel parts web page was incorrect in listing this skid plate as a replacement for my 1991 Wrangler. They replied with an email and link for a RGA form that I completed and retruned the parts. I requested to be reimbursed for the return shipping of the parts, but 4 wheel parts said they could not reimburse me and I should have requested a return shipping label. I wish they would have indicated this when they replied to my original request with the link for the RGA form. Bottom line, I ordered the part 4 wheel part's web page indicated was the correct part for my Jeep. After receiving the part, I discovered it was not the same design as the original skid plate. The mistake was due to 4 wheel parts web page discription of the part. Very unhappy due to 4 wheel parts web page inaccuracy I have to pay for their mistake! I'll inform my 4WD buddies of this so they can avoid the bad experience I had from 4 Wheel Parts!!!

49% EXCELLENT; 51% DISAPPOINTING

Tried to buy two things from 4-Wheel Parts within a few days. One depended on a part number from one of your stores that installed a major lift for me. Said they'd call me back. Never did. Believe that means they didn't know what they had installed. It was not on my receipt. Lost 50% there. The other order depended on a part number from a manufacturer. They provided it immediately and I ordered the part from 4-Wheel Parts online. Came the next week. Lost one percent there because it took longer than the usual Amazon shipment. But only one percent because Amazon is the king of online shipping. But don't feel too bad. I'm still glad you're in business.

Rush processing is a joke!!!

I saw your new rush processing, receive your item in 3-5 business days, if not I could then call customer service and get the rush processing charge refunded. I contacted customer service since my order had not been delivered and it had been much longer. Here is what I got from Manny, customer derive rep: The order was shipped with regular shipping, rush processing is so that the order leaves within 2 business days it has nothing to do with the shipping.

He then would not refund the fee!! I told him I had email proof of the refund guarantee and he did not want to see it instead said he would refund it only as a courtesy NOT because it was a rush processing policy to refund. How rude! All I can say is wow. I ordered my parts from you Sun and needed it asap. It did not arrive for 10 days. Because of Mannys unprofessionalism and having to wait FOREVER on the phone only to talk to rude snippy reps, I will no longer be shopping with 4 wheel parts. There are plenty of other smaller 4x4 companies out there with amazing CS that will price match.

Parts Good...Customer Service? Not so much.

I ordered a clockspring for my Jeep from 4WP because they described the part accurately and their pricing was better than other sellers. What I didn't get was shipping information (when it would be shipped and by whom) or tracking number. I had no idea the order had been processed so I sent 4WP customer service an email asking for shipping information. No one responded. The part showed up a few days later and was exactly what I needed but it would have been nice if someone had addressed my concerns.

good luck with these guys

I paid for express shipping. Requested te delivery a friends vacation home since we were driving there. The purhased item was supposed to land the day before I arrived (friends were at the vaca home days before I could make it) or the day that I arrived. I was there for four day. Item did not make it for EIGHT days after I placed my order and paid for express 3 day shipping. Guess where the purchased item is? Well I can tell you that it's not installed on my car yet. It's at the vaca home. Now my challange is how to get it to Denver. GOOD LUCK WITH THESE GUYS.

Communication is everything in customer service`

I have always liked 4WP and have bought from them many times. My most recent experience was not good. I called to speak to someone about an issue with my order and on 2 separate occasions was on hold more than 30 min with no personal contact what so ever. In my opinion, to leave a customer on hold that length of time just shows that you're grossly understaffed or you just don't care. My item arrived damaged and I couldn't communicate with anyone. Even my emails went unanswered. Some for days and some completely. Love your stores but your customer service really needs some work.

WORST Customer service EVER

Here is my story... I called the 877 number to order a winch. They guy said it would take a week to ship to my 4wheelparts store. Ok, so a week goes by. I stop by my 4wheelparts store and my order in the computer said it is now 2-3 months backorder. I called the 877 number and they said its because I wanted to ship it to the store directly. Now, the website says the part is "Avaliable Now!" and "Free Shipping is available to US. addresses in the contiguous 48 U.S. states". However, this is a LIE. They said it is only free if its from the warehouse in my state. Now, the salesmen said it would cost me 120 dollars for shipping from TX (where its in stock) to my house in CO. COMPLETELY UNACCECPTABE!

Do not buy from these guy;s

They sent the wrong item was not even close ,ordered a K&N filter kit got a chevy emblem .

Never could get in contact with of them and i spent hours running around in there answering system.
I lost money and never did get what i ordered , RUNNNNNN!!!!!

Hard to give an opinion when I still haven't received my order from Apr 3 2014

ZI placed an order Apr 03, 2013 and paid for rush processing ans shipping as I needed the product ASAP. Was quoted on the website the product would be delivered in 3-5 business days. As of today, Apr 23, 2014 I still do not have the product. I called customer service last week and was then told the vendor doesnt stock product but rather makes on demand. I called the local warehouse/store in Denver, they stated there was the product at an Ohio store but I'd have to pay all freight to get it hear.
NOT HAPPY WITH THE MISINFZORMATION FROM THE START>

I've been a loyal customer over the past 10-15 years but may need to reconsider other options when I need something fast.

Service was fine, product was not described well

Delivery and payment not a problem. The soft top I recieved was not what I was expecting. The assembly took me half a day with 2 other people and and included instructions were very difficult to understand/follow. Folding back the top and putting it back on is not as easy as other tops as well. The threads on the hand knob are easily stripped.

Nope

They listed something in stock, rep told me over the phone it was in stock. When I called to inquire of my purchase a week and a half later I was told the part in question was discontinued...Thank you for letting me know (sarcasm)
