Last week I found a great pair of Nike flip flops at Foot Locker. I thought they were fantastic but they were a little expensive ($45) and the style they had in stock wasn't my favorite. When I finally found the style I liked online, I searched for the cheapest available price. 6 PM had the cheapest price ($35) AND free shipping.
Naturally I was skeptical, and I actually visited this website to read reviews and I read through MANY horror stories and it seemed like the 5 star reviews might have been coming from the company itself.
I decided to take a gamble and ordered the shoes. I can tell you that my experience was fantastic! I got exactly what I ordered in the correct size AND the order only took two days to arrive at my front door!
Wow, I mean, maybe I was one of the lucky ones but I will definitely shop with this company again because they seem to have the cheapest prices AND fast, free shipping!
I buy 90% of my stuff online so I've quite a bit of experience with online merchants - and 6pm ranks near the very top.
Here are the reasons why -
Pros:
- Deep discounts for top brand names (I've done a comparison and they always offer the lowest price in the market).
- More product choices in more sizes. Most discount stores carry only very large or very small sizes. 6pm has good selection for most sizes.
- Product is exactly as described. They will send you a prepaid return label if the merchandise is different or defective. You're expected to know your fit when you shop online. Different brands may have slightly different sizing and 6pm does not take responsibility for that.
- They respond immediately to calls 1.888.676.2660 6am - 8pm PST
- Their shipping is super fast. I get my stuff within two days usually (I'm not sure why I pay amazon extra money for prime. 6pm does it free). Because the processing is fast I try to place my orders between their work hours so that I can contact them if needed.
Cons:
- There's no price match guarantee.
Not sure:
- I have never emailed them. So, I don't know if they respond promptly to emails.
An interesting fact - Did you know 6pm is a zappos company?! In May 2010, they accidentally priced all items on their site for 50 bucks including high end stuff and they honored all transactions taking a hit of $1.6 million - I would definitely put my money on them :)
I cannot believe how hard it is to buy a shoe! 6pm which is part of your company is doing complete false advertising on a google Ad. To top it off all they do when you email is NOT respond? When you call all you get is apologies with no solution and lies? Apparently their system could not receive the domains @yahoo and @aol?? What is this a joke? All I want is to buy a shoe as a birthday present. Wasted my time today for 40 minutes just to be told I would be called back in 72 hours??! I need to speak to SOMEONE WHO CARES NOW. The link is below clearly showing the price and the link takes me to the site and the prices changes. Is this bait and switch? Or false advertising? I spoke to Holly and Vin today who were no help at all. Why would you put someone on the phone that cannot make a solution in the first place. I would rather give my money to amazon which is a machine because quite frankly having a live rep doesn't help anyways. I need a call explaining this nonsense.

I ordered a new pair of shoes from 6PM.com last night at 9:45 PM PST/PDT. On reviewing the order, I realized that I had mistakenly purchased the shoes in size 10.5 UK rather than size 10.5 US. I returned to the site to cancel the order. After thoroughly searching the site, I was not able to find a straightforward mechanism for canceling; instead, the FAQ stated that I should contact their Customer Loyalty Team via the site's Contact link.
I sent them a message detailing my mistake and requesting an order cancellation. The message went through at roughly 10:50 PM. In return, I received an email response providing a ticket number and the following slightly-worrying text:
"Due to some unusually high email volume at this time, our response will take longer than normal, but please rest assured that we're doing everything we can to get to your inquiry as soon as possible in the order that it was received."
The following morning (~10 AM), I called to follow up on my request. I was told that the order had already gone to the warehouse for processing, and that a cancellation was now impossible. Surprised, I pressed for details; the customer service representative instead provided decidedly-vague instructions for returning the package once it arrived. Note that the package was still in their warehouse at this point - they just refused not to ship it.
I took to both Twitter and Facebook and outlined my case again, hoping for a more useful response. I was able to engage with them on Twitter, but was told the same thing: they were not able to stop an order once the warehouse had received it. It occurred to me at this point that this was incredibly strange - were they saying that they were unable to communicate with their own warehouse? Again, I pressed for details. They offered to continue the conversation on Facebook, presumably to keep it private. The last message I received from them read as follows:
"Thanks, [name]! We'll be in touch shortly! :)"
That was well over three hours ago. In the interim, I've received an email stating that the package - which I've now tried to cancel via four different means of communication - has been shipped. I cannot remember the last time I had a more frustrating experience with an online retailer. Perhaps never.
In summary, this business clearly has some serious infrastructural issues. Until they streamline their services to address common issues like these, they should not be trusted.
I ordered from 6pm for my aunt and everything was good. My order total was 67 dollars. They charged me the 67$ the same day. Two days later I check to track my order and my item was cancel. My aunt was really mad because they charged her and she thinks I cancelled the item. She's mad at me. I told her i dint cancel jack but she's like if I didn't cancel it who did, because she didn't cancel it. I will never buy from 6pm ever again. I emailed them telling them to give me back my money because if they don't I will go KWWWWAAAAYYYYYZAYYY!!
I was EXTREMELY hesitant to order off of this site. I saw all the bad reviews but for a $40 Tommy Bahama bikini (plus a few other things) I was willing to risk it since there were no bad reviews about not being able to return things. After I placed my order and before I received my order I found out my friend actually orders shoes from here all the time so I was feeling much better. I ordered everything on a Saturday and received it on Thursday, SUPER QUICK! 1 Tommy Bahama bikini, 1 Patagonia dress, and 1 Tommy Bahama Maxi dress later and I was THRILLED!!! Everything was EXACTLY as it was on the site. Luckily I knew TB ran big and exactly how Patagonia fit so everything fit just fine. AWESOME experience. Fast shipping, extremely low prices and quality clothes. I've always wanted a Tommy Bahama bathing suit but couldn't bring myself to pay $200 for one. I paid $115 for all of those items! I ordered a Lily Pulitzer sundress the next week on a Monday, got it Friday and again, GORGEOUS and just made one more order.
I can totally understand your hesitation, it seems too good to be true and the reviews aren't great. But keep in mind that people that have bad experiences go online to write about it and less people write about good ones which is why I made a point to sign up and talk about my experience. I am more than thrilled with my experience with 6pm.com. And just think... if you aren't happy you can always return your item and you lose all of what... $5 for return shipping? Worth it. Thank you so much 6pm.com, you've got a new long time happy customer!
P.S. I'm not a 6pm employee... I came across it when I wanted that Tommy Bahama stuff SO BAD and didn't want to pay exorbitant amounts of money for it.
Well I received my order in a timely manner... the shoes are the correct size & color, they are great so far (wore them around the house for a couple of days). Contrary to Cleo's comment I don't work for 6PM. I am satisfied with my first order so will order from them again.

Hesitant to order from 6pm site. I would be leery of the positive reviews here, they are such a contrast from the 1 star reviews. The positive reviews must be from 6pm employees.
How can it be only 1 star reviews and 5 star reviews, no in the middle. Bad sign.
Was going to return a shoe that ran a little bit small. Found out that I had to pay shipping the shoes back PLUS the company deducted their cost of shipping the shoe to me from the refund!! Won't even go on their website to look at shoes!!!
I bought a bathing suit and cover up from 6pm.com only because I wasnt able to find the exact same suit in the size I needed anywhere else. I also saved a lot of money which was a plus. I was so fearful after reading these reviews that I tried not to get too excited when the package arrived. I ordered onthe evening of 2/7/13 and my order shipped out 2/8/13. I received the package on 2/12/13. Not too shabby. I opened the package to find the exact bathing suit and cover up I ordered and they were both in new condition. I have found such great deals on this site that I just placed another order tonight. If it goes as smoothly as the first order, this will be my go to shopping website.

After reading so many bad reviews, I was nervous to order a product which I couldn't find anywhere else for such a great price. Some people thought that any good reviews were written by employees, or paid for good reviews. I am an actual customer who took a chance, and I did get the correct product, in good condition, in the correct size. The shipping took a little longer than I had hoped, but even that was reasonable (a little over a week)
Possible I may not tempt fate and order again, but if they're the only ones who have what I want, caution goes to the wind!

I ordered boots from 6pm, Charles Albert Flat Peggy, and I was so excited to get them, and I received them on 2/01/13, and today, I looked at my shoes and noticed that part of the bottom rubber lining has fallen off and the rest is peeling off! I was shocked! I paid a good price for these boots, supposedly worth much more, only to have them fall apart before a month is up? I don't wear them every day and don't do much walking and yet they are falling apart today, on 2/20! I'm horrified at the quality, and have heard nothing back from them. Just remember, you may get a good deal but if the quality is low then you're losing money, like I did. So upset!
I was very excited to find a great pair of rainboots for a great price. After I ordered, I tracked the shipment and was happy when my package arrived within a couple of days (sooner than expected). Unfortunately, when I opened the box, there were no rainboots in it, but instead some sort of sheer scarf/wrap. I'm not exactly sure what it is because I never opened the clear packaging. The paper in the box had the correct order number on it. I immediately e-mailed cs@6pm.com to find out how to return and get the correct item shipped. After weeks, I received no response. I went on the website to return the item, but there was a note that said if the wrong item was received to contact them before returning. So I sent them another message through their contact us section on their website. I have still received no response. My 30 days since ordering is almost up, so I'm going to try returning the item, but I have absolutely no expectation that they will return my money or be able to figure out that they shipped the wrong item. Very disappointing experience and I will most definitely never order from them again. What makes it even more disappointing is the fact that 6PM is owned by Zappos, and Zappos is very well known for their excellent customer service. I guess that part of the Zappos business model didn't catch on at 6PM.
I ordered the womens Mountain Hard Wear Monkey Fleece Jacket on a Friday. I tracked my order with great ease from my email confirmation. My order was delivered to my house on the actual delivery date of Wednesday! I am extremely satisfied with my experience with 6pm! I highly recommend this site!! And I love my new jacket!! 5 star service! Thank you!!!

idk how people rate this site 1 star. If the item isnt available in your size then of course you can't put it in your cart to see if you will be able to get it. I see people complaining about prices.... everything is marked way below what you will see in stores. This site is amazing when it comes to prices. I've used the site three times already and have no had any problems with shipping. ( shipping says should arrive within 5-10 days and i usually get what i order within 2-3 days.) They do have an actual store in kentucky ( a store you can actually go to) so everything ships from there. Overall, 6pm does its job.
I ordered a pair of UGG boots and then saw all the negativity about this site. No problems at all with my order. Received a confirmation that my order shipped & I received exactly what I ordered. Love them & this site.
I found a pair of Mizuno running shoes at a killer cost and ordered them right away. I'd never heard of 6pm so afterwards I started looking at reviews. I got really concerned because there seemed to be a lot of negative reviews, but the very next day I got an email that my order had shipped and recieved it three days later. I had chosen the Free Shipping so I was expecting the stated 7-10 days to receive them. Instead, I ordered on a Monday and had them in my hands by Friday. Right item, right size.

A few times I have seen a certain shoe highlighted, then click on it, and it is Not Available but here, people who bought these also bought these: and then you click on those and every color, in every size is Not Available, but here, try these over here etc etc. Aaaagh! Another time, I got clicked something into my cart only to get a message Sorry, this is not available, But when I went to start from scratch, there is was again! It got into the cart, but when I went back, nope. Not available! How does this not happen automatically, that something only disappears once the last one is purchased and that purchase finalized. Other sites seem to do it just fine.

I ordered a size to large and my order had passed 30 days. According to the website my return had to be made within 30 days. I called their customer service and told them about my situation and they so wonderfully assisted me with a return and even provided me a return label. I spoke with a lady named SAM and she was seriously the nicest most helpful person I have ever spoken with! Maybe she was in a good mood bc its the Holidays or Maybe she is just awesome...either way my customer service was very impressive!
I ordered Adidas pants on Sunday, and got them today (Wednesday). It was exactly what I ordered, with the exact discount as described. The tag on the pants and on Adidas.com said $50 but I got it for $35. I was very pleased with the purchase and look forward to doing business with 6pm.com again. I don't know what so many people are complaining about here.
Hello, it is December 3rd, 2012. I ordered my stuff from 6pm.com on November 26th. I recieved my package today and I must say... ( i read almost every single review about 6pm.com before I ordered.) I am overly joyed with what I purchased. I was VERY skeptical in ordering because almost all the reviews were about not receiving purchases, customer service etc... But I just chalked it up to people will write a review about something bad happening before praising the company. So i decided to write one on how amazing they are. So to make a long story short I WILL ORDER FROM 6pm FROM NOW ON! Customer service was amazing and so very nice when I called about a payment issue which was my BANKS fault not theirs. So please, give 6pm a chance. It's not a scam. It's Zappos outlet website.. Even says that on the page. BBB rates them an A+!! Go ahead and shop away!!

First off, I am being forced to give 1 star rating when the site DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 star. My husband purchased a pair of shoes a couple of days ago and today the shoe is priced much lower. I called them up to ask them for a price adjustment and the representative asks me if the shoes were on sale. ALL their shoes are listed at a certain percentage off MSRP. It's just ridiculous. I have never encounter a company that doesn't give price adjustment for regular or sale prices own their own items. Their return policy says that they will be happy to to accept a return within 30 days of the date of purchase, but you have to pay for the return shipping cost (you need to learn more to find this out). YOU REALLY DO NEED TO READ EVERYTHING WITH THIS SITE!! They DO NOT DO EXCHANGES so for whatever reasons you will have to pay for the return shipping cost and get a refund on the item you purchase (do you feel like you are being swindle yet?). Only time you are not responsible for the return shipping is if you refuse the package when it arrives at your doorstep. I will NEVER EVER PURCHASE from 6PM again because the feeling of being CHEATED doesn't sit well with me. Really the WORST online shopping experience to date (knock on wood, hopefully it won't happen again since it's 100% UNLIKELY we will EVER PURCHASE from 6PM again!!!).

Well I have to say about a week ago I was sitting here like you are now,reading the other reviews because I wanted to double check on the company before I bought. I read a bunch of horror stories about not getting the right item or the wrong size. However I choose to gamble it because the price was unbeatable. I have to say I'm glad I did. I had the shoes delivered 2 min ago and everything is just as I ordered. I'm so grateful. Thank you 6PM you guys saved me 50%..
I saw the bad reviews, but decided to purchase from them because the price of the dress I wanted seemed like a steal. A few days later, I received the dress that I ordered, but it was the completely wrong dress. The dress they sent me was 5$ less than the one that I had ordered, but they charged me the whole amount. Will never order from them again.

This is the second time I purchased from 6pm.com, and I am not sure why. I guess I am looking for maternity clothing and got desperate for a specific brand and item that is not available elsewhere. Bad mistake. They offer free shipping, but if you return you have to pay for returns and they will cut out shipping charges. Its so ridiculous! You end up paying for both sides. Who today does this? Which website and company does this? They don't even send a return label, so you pay the higher price for returns. So crappy. Its not like their prices are that low.
I will not buy from this site again. They anyway don't have much variety. Their website is also crappy, the return policy doesn't explain everything. In addition, email customer service and they don't respond. I called and asked why I didn't get a response, they said "our Yahoo email customers have that problem". Well, a lot of customers use Yahoo, what type of an explanation is that? One of the worst customer-facing websites I have ever used. Don't buy from here, I too will take my business elsewhere.

This company is absolutely horrendous! Do not waste your time with them. Their customer service is by far the worst that I have dealt with. They are notorious for canceling orders and with out notification. They will promise follow up and you will never here from them and your orders will usually be delivered late. Paying for expedited shipping is a joke as they are unable to ship your order with in the time frame even if you pay the extra amount.Save yourself the time and effort and order products through a reliable company.

Ok so I was looking everywhere to find some to boot new York windsors for a good deal because the retail price is a bit steep for me. Anyway, google directed me to 6pm and they were at a little over 50% retail so I bought them impusively. After buying them I looked at reviews of 6pm to see if it's a scam because I'm retarded and waited until after I already bought them. Saw all the terrible reviews and honestly feel bad for the people that wrote those. I ordered my shoes on Thursday and got them yesterday.(3 business days) anyway I don't work for 6pm or anything so don't think I'm bullshitting. Side note, they gave me free vouchers for wine nd hair products haha
Sure, 6pm.com has a great selection of discounted brand names, but is it worth the frustration?
I have made 3 purchases from 6pm.com. The first was good, no complaints. However, the second time I ordered 3 pairs of reef sandals. One for me, one for my husband, and one for our son. The sandals I ordered for my son were two sizes larger than what I had ordered. I understand mistakes happen. So, I called them and waited on hold for close to 45 minutes. The offered me free return shipping on the order. Unfortunately, they were out of his size in the same style. I was willing to brush off this minor irritation and order from them again.
The third purchase I made from them was for a pair of women's tennis shoes. I was really excited that I found a pair of shoes I loved as I had not bought anything for myself in quite some time. When UPS showed up I could not wait to rip the box open and try them on. To my surprise, when I opened the box, the shoes that were in the box were not women's shoes at all. They were a man's skate shoe in a completely different size. I was so thoroughly disappointed, I immediately called their customer service line. This time my call was answered in the most timely manner. I talked to a man named "Damien". He was nice. I feel bad for being so abrupt with him. I know it was not his fault that there was an error in my order for the second time. He offered me free return shipping on my order. And of course, they don't have what I ordered in my size anymore. Since this was the second time this has happened he also offered me free 2-day shipping on my next order. "Yeah, like I want to order from your company again.". He then spoke with his supervisor and they came back offering me 10% off my next order. Seriously, dude, $3 off. This was kind of insulting. This is not the first time they have done this to me. I am so immensely irritated with their handling of this situation. So, proceed with caution when ordering from 6pm.com.

i bought a 9.5 shoe from here, from the same brand and type of shoe I've been wearing for the past 16-18 years. I got this one and it was a full half size to full size smaller.
"Dave, there is no universal standard for merchandise sizing. Sizes and widths can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and even different styles of the same brand can vary in fit quite a bit, so it is difficult to determine the exact size and width that anyone will need in a particular brand and style and upon checking the order, you actually ordered for size 9.5 for the pair of Etnies Kingpin."
yes I did. having worn etnies for the past 16 years i know that the widths are different but the lengths are always the same. I get the same answer with any response about I send. I gave them to someone who wears 9's and even they couldn't fit in them. They wouldn't exchange them, instead I had to return them and pay postage for an item to return it; on an item that was ordered in the correct size. Asinine. Never buying from here again, their product selection is not reliable and their service is even worse.

I stumbled on this site about two years ago and have been a loyal customer since my first order . Anytime my family or I need shoes I just go online and find what I'm looking for the the price I want . I'm a flight attendant and I always need shoes for work , the problem is finding some that fit within our guidelines.I went to every store I could think of and came back irritated that simple black non patent leather pumps are hard to find . So I got on line and with in a few days I received some great shoes that were over $130 for $70 . I have received compliments regularly for these shoes . Also if you have any problems they have a great return policy too . The only draw back to this site is you become a shoe addict , dropping by every other week to see what catches my fancy .
If you are like most people now a days, you are looking to save as much as u can where ever you can. Zappos has some of the best deals on name brands. You no longer have to pay an arm and a leg for the brands and designer you love!!!!
I ordered a swim suit for the first time from the 6pm site and thought it seemed a little sketchy but the price was more reasonable so I thought I would try it (Too bad I didn't read the views). I ordered the Tibi Pink One-Piece Swim Suit because I am working at a sumer camp in a few weeks and need a one piece as as soon as possible. So within a couple weeks I received my package, but my purchase was not in it. Some random pajama shirt and anti-breakage hair serum was in it, so a completely wrong order. I contacted them by email because the phone line for whatever reason didn't work, and one representative said they could not replace it and to send the box back but they would send me a refund. Then another email came. The next representative (because for whatever reason different ones were always answering my emails) said that she could replace it and again to send the box back. She actually issued the refund and replacement, and the site sent me a confirmation email. Then a few hours later I get an email from yet another representative that said my suit could not be replaced "for reasons the warehouse could not say"...what the heck? And then reminded me to send the box with the wrong order back. That's it. No explanation, no fix to their error, nothing. Seriously a HUGE fiasco and I will never purchase from there again, not worth it.
Oh and I am now going out of town and still have no idea if I will EVER get my order. Please save yourselves the trouble.

Since I am happy to write bad reviews when a company deserves it, it is only fair that I write a good review when a company goes out of their way to do the right thing.
I ordered 3 pairs of boots from 6pm.com. One pair fit (I kept them), one pair did not fit (I am returning them), and one pair was extremely poor quality, particularly from what is normally a very high-end shoe producer (Etienne Aigner). So in my return request I told 6pm.com this information, expecting them to do nothing at all (as they do not pay for return shipping, which I knew). I was okay with this because their prices were very reasonable, so I knew I was taking on this burden.
However, to 6pm.com's credit, they took the time to write me back, apologize for the poor quality of the one pair of boots, and have not only paid for return shipping for the defective boots, but also for the boots that did not fit, just to be nice and for my inconvenience. AND, they apologized to me - wow!
I do not see this kind of customer service very often these days, and I want to acknowledge how impressed I was with 6pm.com. Good job - I will definitely order from them again.
I received smaller shoe,number is same shoe size is smaller than my Clarks, hush puppies , Steve Madden and others,no one is bothered to help me, and helpline kept me waiting for 20 minutes,just to tell me that they cant help I will never buy or recommend 6pm to anyone,unless you hate your money, or you have a special eyesight to check the shoe size in kentuky, i would rather say avoid this website.

Got billed for items, but customer service says there is a problem with my order. If there is a problem with my order, why do you still have my $$$. Response time from 6pm is slow to say the least. Customer service is very unhelpful. These folks are part of the Zappos family?

Will I be charged $6.95 shippping fee by 6pm.com on top of the shipping fee that I have to pay upfront in the post office/UPS? Pffttt. Im not sure if Im buying from 6pm.com anymore. I hate hassles for returns when most online shoe stores do free shipping both ways as their standards,

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a pair of shoes which ran small, so I wanted to exchange them. Think that would be easy, wouldn't you? It was NOT! Not only did I have to pay for shipping them back, they would not exchange them. I looked at the shoes again at 6pm.com and they had gone up by $9.00. I have never dealt with a company with such poor service. Also, to get a refund to my credit card, I have to wait for the shoes to get back to 6pm.com then wait another 7-10 days for them to inspect them, then wait another 10 days for a refund to my credit card. What a sham. I feel I was taken for a ride when dealing with them.

I have order Oakley Jury II Womens on sale from 6pm and I got defect item . I check their website price was increased. I called 6pm customer service and requested replace the same item.. they provided new order number and next day they cancel the new order item.
when i called 6pm customer service they said product not available. while on phone with customer service i check their website and i see product still available..
customer service put me on hold for 5mins.. saying that some they won't update the website correctly..
Please strongly strongly strongly not recommend this 6pm. they waste customer valuable time..
