I took my external hard drive to ABC data recovery, ready to pay however much it cost in order to retrieve all my backup data, after somebody else had told me that the drive was completely damaged and there was no other solution but to buy a new one and pay for data recovery, I even explained this to ABC. Instead of trying to rob me, after a quick diagnostic they returned telling me that it was the simplest of problems... I needed a new cable! I was shocked at first as I had been saving up for a while and was worried about how much it could have cost me, but even more so, they provided me with a brand-new cable for free! Feeling very dumb, they reassured that it was very easily done and they didn’t make me feel like I had wasted their time at all (even though I felt very guilty). Very good and honest people that work there and couldn’t recommend them more!
I arrived at ABC Data Recovery at probably the worst time anybody would want business; 5 o'clock on a Friday afternoon, closing time. However, even though they were getting ready to go home they welcomed me in and agreed to do a FREE diagnostic check on my solid-state drive. Within less than five minutes the man returned with the issue causing the fault. He explained the problem very well, to a technical level that I understood. After a few questions I had, of which none were too big or too small for them to answer, they taught me how the fault probably developed and where to take future precautions when buying a new drive. They also explained the different solutions to fix my drive and why each solution cost as much as it did. Furthermore, understanding that I was a student they explained what steps I should take next if they were in my shoes. All in all I was very very pleased with their customer service that truly was exceptional.
I must write to thank the staff at ABC for the professional and excellent service I received when trying to retrieve my 'lost' information.
I was kept informed either by e-mail or telephone at every stage of the retrieval process. Thankfully ALL of my work was retrieved and this was returned by UPS and I was able to hand in a really important assignment of Friday (deadline) on time.
I have already passed your details on to my colleagues and I would not hesitate to passing this on to my friends and family.
