all I can say about this company is thieves and total scum, KEEP-AWAY from this company.
Ordered items, never arrived, no explanation. After I complained enough they just cancelled the order. Claim to have refunded my card but given that the payment was via pppay.com they did not even have my card details. no refund after chasing them up and so have reported them for suspected VAT fraud to HMRC
This company have basically stolen my money by refusing to refund me in a saga which has now lasted over a month. I will be going to Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog and urge all of you to do the same - we must ensure that this company is not allowed to continue with such levels of malpractice and poor business ethics.
I'm in the United States and ordered a monitor via Airetech IT because i can't find it in the U.S. It was taking a little too long to process so i canceled my order before it shipped. This was however after they already billed me. I didn't think much of it and thought I would get a refund in a week or so. I canceled my order around August 1st and it is now September 19th and I still don't have my refund. I have emailed them constantly and they keep saying "they're investigating" why I haven't received my refund yet or they've "elevated" their investigation. Basically they stole my money and I have little recourse and they know it. They are thieves and I wouldn't attempt to do business with them if they were the last internet based company in the world. BEWARE!!
I had a similar experience to some of the other reviews here.
I ordered a PC case that was in stock on their website and listed as in stock in the order confirmation email. After a few days I was contacted to say that due to issues with TNT losing stock they were unable to fulfill my order right now and they couldn't tell me when it would be fulfilled.
The difference in my experience compared to some of the other reviews here is that for that I asked for a full refund and the money was returned to my credit card by the next day.
I'm writing to warn people of Airetech IT and their blatant scamming of innocent people.
I ordered a PC Case 2 weeks ago. It never came. I contacted David Catherall several times to sort the problem out and each time I did he either fobbed me off with a dodgy delivery date or excuse.
I got a delivery ref for my package and when I checked it with the delivery company they use (Interlink express) surprise surprise it didn't register.
I called again to ask what is correct delivery ref and got put on hold then I eventually hung up after 15 mins of waiting. Phoned back again and got an answer machine message saying there had been a fire alarm and so unable to take call :) lol.
Seriously do not trust this man. I have been in touch with my bank to get my money back...have saved all my emails to and from david to use as evidence against him. I will be reporting him to Trading Standards.

I purchased a laptop display from AiretechIT back in April. I received it in a timely manner, however, they packaged it with two pieces of cardboard, some bubble wrap and a plastic mailing bag. It was damaged upon receipt and I wrote to the company to let them know what a shoddy job they did in packaging. I was told to send it back and if I sent a receipt I would also be refunded the price of mailing. They received it April 27 and I still have not gotten a refund. I am working with Visa to get a refund that way, and they are in pre-arbitration with the company. AiretechIT actually told Visa that they did not receive the item back. Good thing I still have the email saying they received it! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Maybe they just have a thing against Americans....
I bought a HDD from AiretechIT on the 17th of June. Three days later they contacted me to say that they didn't have the item in stock and that they'd send a refund to my bank account. Since then I've received no refund and AiretechIT have ignored my emails. I contacted SagePay, who have asked Airtech to contact me, but despite that they continue to ignore every email I send. IMO this company is a complete scam. I wouldn't be surprised to see David Catherall, owner of this excuse for a company, on Rogue Traders in the coming years.

We purchased some hare drive and four went faulty, they said they will credit them and I had a confirmation of the vaule, but after 6 months still have not seen the credit.
For the past 2months I have been tring to contact them via the UK number & US, but no one answered the phone it is just a automated phone system.

Order placed - delivery date passes - get contacted about delay in shipment - again delivery date passes - i cancel the order (they are very difficult to communicate with) - still no refund over 2 months later
I'm not sure what's going on here but it appears to be a very small operation, possibly just David Catherall, working out of residential premises (on the website the address is 9 Thirlmere Avenue, Wellsted Street, Hull, HU3 3AX. - which you can find on street view).
And from my experience it would seem they are trying to con people through misinformation and by being difficult to contact.
Perhaps they/he hopes people will forget to check to see if the refund ever comes in.
I'm disgusted.

I don't usually write reviews but I've been so disappointed by my dealings with this company that I felt obliged to chip in.
Similar to other reviews I've seen, I was guaranteed a delivery date (which passed without notice or apology) and then had the order cancelled with the promise of a refund go (as yet) unfulfilled. I'm sympathetic to problems that a small business faces, but to guarantee a delivery date and then let it pass without notice or apology is unacceptable.
The refund seems to be taking a while, more than 2 weeks at the time of writing. I paid with a VISA card so I'll get my money back one way or another, but it's been a thoroughly unsatisfactory experience.

Airetechit have been a complete disappointment. David, who i contacted over and over again, absolutely guaranteed me, 100%, that they had what i wanted in stock, so i paid the money, and guess what, it never came. Then i rang him again and he came up with some useless excuse of why it never came, so i just asked for my money back, it was meant to be 3 days until it was back in my account, that was 2 weeks ago. PLEASE whatever you do, do not use airetechit. Also don't fall for the 5 out of 5 stars you see, its completely obvious it's them themselves giving those scores. Pathetic.

We ordered 3228GBP from this company, initially they said they never received the money, even though my bank confirmed the money transfer, a month later he said they had a problem with their IT system.
Then he said he will send the items the next day, which he didn't of course and still has not refunded the money.
Airetech is a one person company run by a 23 year old from his parents semi in Hull, he has no office, no warehouse and no stock. I happy to send anyone the emails which he sent trapping himself in lie after lie. Catherall is the Director, Group Sales Manager, Customer Services Team (yes all of it) and probably the coffee boy too.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Purchased some cctv cameras and was given 1-5 day delivery time. It’s now been 3 weeks and counting still no sign of delivery.
After numerous calls and e-mails to customer services all I got was hollow apologies and broken promises.
I’m now fed up and have asked for a full refund, but have been told to wait 3-5 days for that!
If anyone from Airetech IT reads this review my order number was 4528 look into it and get it sorted, because this is no way to treat customers or run a business!

I calle for advice on a product that was in the "special offers" section of the site, the rep on the phone answered all of my questions and i placed the order later via the website. The website was clear and easy to use. i opted for the standard delivery of 1-5 days and was very suprised to find the next day the item turned up at my door in perfect condition. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to use them again or reccomend them to a friend.

Ordered product November 2011, not in stock, but they charged my credit card anyway!
A month later, still no delivery time I cancelled the order to be told I had been refunded. Nope, no refund in my bank. Asked again only to be told I had been refunded, no refund was issued. Asked again, but no refund still end February 2012!!!!
Do not trust this company, very poor response to customer requests and frankly, they lie.

Item ordered 4pm, and arrived next day, I was emailed tracking, and could access my 1 hour delivery window the day of delivery, 5 star service
The products that I had ordered arrived undamaged and in perfect condition. They were exactly how I had liked them. The customer service before, during, and after is excellent. The rep, David, is the best sales and support agent that I have ever dealt with.
Everything went well apart from fact that it was not made obvious item ordered was not in stock on day of order. However I was kept informed at every stage & item soon arrived.
Great value and service
Purchasing from AireTech IT was a wonderful experience. Living in the U.S. I have little options to get certain goods outside of the U.S. and would defiantly recommend this company. Support was swift, responsive, and polite. The goods offered were at a reasonable price and this particular store has a unique catalog of items not found elsewhere.
The only downside was a tremendous wait for my product, but this is expected from any international company shipping to the U.S.
Overall I highly recommend!
I had quite a few specific requirements and AireTech responded to each of them well, tolerating my many questions and were very flexible to my needs. I am very happy with the level of communication, support, the competitive price and finished product.
Since my item didn't arrive for a few weeks, I didn't hesitate to contact these guys ASAP. Their response was quick and the item was reposted with no expense on my part! I cannot stress how awesome that is, considering that a lot of companies won't even answer your emails for a month or so...
