I visited the site in hopes of refreshing my wardrobe for the spring/summer months. I am going on vacation and wanted some easy going clothes. Placed an order and only received half of what I ordered. Little did I know that the other items were back ordered and the only way I found out was to call the company after not receiving this information. The clothes are so beautiful, but the availability and headache are such a nightmare, there is no point in me considering to shop here anymore.
Wish I could give less than one star... Basically I only received half my order. I ordered a bathing suit one month before my Spring Break- a month should have been plenty of time. Well I am now packed and ready to leave without the top of the suit I ordered.
Might I add that I am leaving for Army Basic Training immediately upon my return from Spring Break, therefore will have absolutely no use for a bathing suit that has come late... So I am understandably infuriated.
I sent an email to customer service about this and was told the top was to be shipped the week of the 18th. That was now almost two weeks ago and I still do not have the top!!
I will NEVER shop Alloy again, and I will be sure to let everyone know of my experience with them.
Save your time and money and DO NOT buy from Alloy.com. Everything I have received has been absolute garbage and does not follow the beautiful descriptions and size charts in their catalog. I am trying to return my third and final order with them. There was an error, so I called their 24 hour customer service and the person said the actual customer service is only there until 5:30 eastern time, completely negating what was written in an email from one of their online customer reps! I have wasted time and money with this company one too many times and I am going to BBB if they don't give me my money back asap. I don't understand how they can sell such poor quality clothing, treat their customers so poorly and get away with it.
I've ordered from Alloy in the past and never had problems with receiving my shipment on time or returns. I recently decided to order again, and was quite hesitant after placing my order because of all the horrible reviews on this site. I got my shipment today a day before scheduled, the items were lovely and well made. I ordered two sweaters for 30 dollars including shipping, thats a god damn steal! The one sweater was a tad bit smaller than I expected but nonetheless I am very satisfied. Would definitely order again. c:
Alloy has wonderful clothing for tall girls like me. (im 5'11'') it was my second order where my regular size was not the right fit. i sent my order back as an exchange and everything went down hill. i exchanged 3 pants. after the 3rd week of not seeing anything back in the mail i became suspicious and called to check on the exchange. their customers service is very awful and has no consideration for their customers. when i called, i was told that i would be transferred to someone who could help me better with my situation and she sent me to a voice mail instead. i thought that was rude to begin with. second thing, i called multiple times and no one could find the 3rd pair of pants returned in the same package along with the other 2 pairs. im not sure how this happened. it took more than three tries for someone to find it. the lady informed me that by that time, the items were not on sale anymore wich made me upset, and that i would have to pay an extra 42.00 and change. so i agreed and went ahead with it. two days later i find 69.00 extracted from my bank account from Alloy.com! this makes me upset. up to this day NO ONE at customer service wants to help me with this! its very upsetting.
The first time i ordered from alloy I ordered boots. Not only did they come late the box came with two left side boots. My sister ordered from alloy also, and her order came late. 3 weeks ago i ordered boots again, and they still have not arrived. never buying from alloy again!!!!!! they suck and the customer service people are dumb!

I made some x-mas shopping on this site their ad said they guaranteed package to arrive before De 24, I placed my order on Dec.14 I did not receive my package until Dec. 27. Every other orders i placed from other sites got here way before x-mas. Then I decide to give them aother shot big mistake, my order total was 97.36 the amount my card was charged was 112.48 so i decide to call customer service it takes me a good fight on the phone to get them to refund me the difference which i still have to check with my bank to see if they did. The lady never offered an apology instead she keep trying to talk her way out of giving me a refund, at end she just hunged up on me how horrible. Do not buy from this site and if you do be prepare for the worste service ever.

I an avid shopper online and I saw this company looked over their policies, it all seemed legit until I ordered. I made an order since end of November its now 1st of 2013 no order received and constant run around when you call them. Several other companies I ordered from had my packages before 1 week and under my tree. NEVER AGAIN ALLOY I would not recommend them to a tree much less a living soul (person). Absolutely disgusted at their service most terrible ever NO FREKKING STARS .....

I decided to do all of my fall/winter shopping at once and from one place. I saw a lot of things my style on the Alloy site and ended up spending a couple hundred dollars. Well, that was over a month ago, and I still haven't received all of my order. Evidently half of it was backordered and some items they just 'forgot' to include, but they never informed me of any of this. I have emailed them so many times regarding my order, never receiving good customer service or an informed response. A lot of the clothes are terrible quality as well. I washed one of the dresses as the label instructed (and didn't dry it), and it shrunk to smaller than t-shirt size and now has multiple holes and fraying. Of course, I can't even get a clear response on how to return it! You also have to pay to return items even if you use the shipping label they include!

I've ordered clothes from this company multiple times, every single time I think "I'll just give them another chance". Well this time I'm done giving them chances.
1. As a previous review stated, the clothes are cheaply made. The fit of these clothes is ridiculously inconsistent.
2. Not only do you have to pay shipping to you, when you return the items you have to pay that shipping too. I basically ended up paying $20 for 2 pairs of jeans that I had to return.
3. The people in customer service are RUDE. I was informed "You don't get refunded for the original shipping" and "You is charged $6.95 for a return"
4. EVERY TIME I place an order, two days later I receive a coupon. That's not helpful since I've already paid.
Crappy company, crappy return policy, crappy customer service.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! Do not buy the clothes that are made by them. They are made with CHEAP fabric. If you know a particular brand of jeans that are "safe," I still wish you good luck.
The customer service BLOWS. Because of back orders my order of 6 items came in 3 separate mailings. After the first two packages came with various dresses, I decided they were all horrible in fabric and shape. I was afraid to see the next delivery so I quickly contacted Alloy and told them to cancel the last part of the order. They said the order was cancelled and would not be shipped. LIES. Within the next few days my Paypal account was charged again and the items arrived to my doorstep. I now had even more items to return.
I now began the return process. I shipped the items back and Alloy confirmed that they were received in an e-mail on April 12th. It is now MAY 21st, and I still have NOT received my full refund. After not receiving my full refund by April 25th, I called and explained what has happened. Alloy told me no problem and that a manager would call me back within the next 24Hrs and issue a refund. I waited ANOTHER 7 days. No call back from Alloy and no refund. I called AGAIN after the 7 days, the woman on the phone said "yup! I see we haven't refunded you and we will get that back to you within 7 days." No refund was ever received and AGAIN I called back (call 3). Third call, 3rd different answer - This time Alloy themselves had no idea what had been billed and claimed they couldn't do anything. Alloy said I would have to call a different company that does billing to get my money back as it was not their "problem" and they didn't "understand" their own credit card charges. This is because of their TERRIBLE billing. For the purchase of 6 items, my Paypal account shows SIXTEEN transactions. They make so many charges to your account ALLOY doesn't even understand what they've done. Terrible service, terrible management, terrible clothing. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I would also like to mention that years ago Alloy never shipped a necklace that I ordered but did charge me for it. AGAIN i never received my refund. Pack of idiots at the company. I shop a lot and never post reviews like this, but the company is a DISASTER.
Don't use Paypal if you don't know how to bill people correctly through their site. Apparently one person at Alloy has knowledge of their Paypal system and she's never available to resolve customer billing issues. I was charged 5 seperate times for one order and ended up paying nearly $40 over the payment I authorized. I can't get a straight answer from anyone in their billing department and think it's absolutely ridiculous that I am having to explain myself over and over again to a company who admits they've overcharged me and yet nobody has "authorization" to credit my account! It's a good thing I elected to go through Paypal with the added security and privacy protection, or I probably would've been robbed blind! DON'T SHOP HERE...IT'S NOT WORTH "SAVING" A FEW BUCKS!

I ordered from this site right before christmas! I called the hotline and spoke to a rep to tell them that i needed the items before christmas and not only did she get them to me next day but the rep waived the overnight shipping fee's to general shipping fee's! The clothes are cute and affordable, the customer service is wonderful and i would recommend this site to anyone!
