The reliable shopfront

For their own supply line (mainly books/cd/dvd/blu-ray) you can't fault Amazon. If you want to download music or prefer a cd physically in your hand, they've usually got it and at a sensible price.
As a shopfront for other sellers I have never had a problem and I've used them for a fair few years now.
The plain fact I keep going back to them says it all for me.

Amazon are a superb selling company. Their customer service is second to none. This is especially true in relation to the Kindle. They are trustworthy, reliable and competitive. I use Amazon for 80% of my online shopping needs and have never had a complaint against them. Returns are handled efficiently and you are kept fully uptodate with all orders you have placed.

Excellent customer service

I have always been a fan of Amazon because of their array of products, fair prices and easy check out. However they have excelled themselves on more than one occasion most recently by their fantastic support to my elderly parents in Spain in helping them with a return item. My parents had changed their mind about an item but found it too costly to return from Spain - Amazon not only refunded the item and delivery charges but said to keep the items that should have been returned. That is going the extra mile!

Good offers

I bought a refurbished laptop and it was brilliant as it sold twice the price normally. But downside daughter bought dvds and they ended up not coming in the end after she had paid. Although she got a refund but the point is they she check to see if they are in.

Getting Better

Amazon is now rivalling some of the big websites with its prices and choice of products... easy to use, save of P&P with most being free of charge, they package items together to cut down on waste... a website to watch!

Competive prices

Prices are often cheaper than elsewhere for the same product. As with all sites it is always worth comparing prices before buying. Normally products arrive next day when ordering products with prime delivery. Useful to be able to read reviews on items before buying.
