Il y a quelques temps j ai commande un plateau en verre pour une table basse. Il était indiqué diamètre 80cm sur le site c'était exactement ce que je voulais et c'était aussi référencé pour ma table basse. J ai été très satisfaite de l envoi fait dans les délais , l emballage. Mais à ma grande surprise le plateau reçu faisait 84cm...à partir de la a commencé une longue attente , de nombreux échanges de mails, d'appels, d'envoi de photos pour certifié que ce verre faisait bien 84cm avec un centimètre à l appui et je vous passe tout ce que l on m a demandé (jusqu à l'envoi de ma table basse que je n avais pas acheté chez eux????)
Bref ...au bout de 3/4 mois environ j ai été dédommagé car au final pas de verre de 80cm et bien évidemment sans le remboursement des frais d envoi....
Un zéro pointé donc pour ce sav , et d'ailleurs même s'ils ont des objets que j'aime plus jamais je ne commanderai chez eux. Très grosse déception.
I don't feel able, unfortunately, to give any stars at all. It took far too long to post the article and I had to send several reminders. Your website and e-mails claim that you can be telephoned but you never answer the telephone. I tried twice and held on for a very long time listening to a recorded message over and over again, but no-one ever answered my call. As I was ringing from London, the calls cost me a lot. The item I ordered did arrive eventually but I do not think it was a good service and I will not be ordering anything else in the future.
According their pages, delivery time for the product, but now, after 8 weeks I still have not received anything. Communication with emails does not work and when you call them, they always promise the product within two weeks.
Despite lack of the product, they charged my credit card.
We placed an order for 12 chairs on the basis that all chairs were in stock and would be delivered to us by our stipulated date. After various emails we discovered that 2 of our chairs would be delivered after our required date. We had to pay in advance so we contacted Ambiente Direct to say that we did not want the late arriving 2 chairs and after waiting for over a week for a reply they told us that they could not cancel the order. We said that this was not good enough as they had known that we placed the order based on all chairs arriving by our stipulated date. They basically said that our items were in stock but they weren't and then refused to correct the situation by refunding us. The correspondence from Ambiente Direct was slow and their customer service very shoddy.
It was fine on the whole. I only had initial difficulty getting an approximate estimate of how long the delivery might take to arrive. This was because the address given was a home address and I wanted to be sure that I'd be in if possible. Other than that, once the product was dispatched the tracking process was very clear and the delivery was very speedy.
Friendly and helpful on the telephone. Tracking system great. Delivery far quicker than anticipated - from Germany to East Sussex in under three days. The product on arrival was just what we expected and wanted. An excellent service all round.
It took over 2 and a half months for my order of a desk lamp to be delivered. The product was displayed in stock when I bought the item, only to be told several days later by E-mail that my product was out of stock. Their terms of payment web page state: "The amount of your order will be withdrawn from your credit card on the day we ship out you merchandise", the money was take from my credit card the day after I ordered the product- roughly 2 months before half of the desk lamp was delivered. I called at least 7 times trying to find out where my order was after an email was issued telling me my lamp would be in stock within 2 weeks maximum. I emailed them for shipping information and was ignored. I was lied to on several occasions, given false promises and information on my order with several different delivery dates- all of them seemingly picked out of thin air. I have never experienced "service" like this before in my life, and after reading several reviews since placing my order with them this is far from a one off case. This company should not be allowed to operate. An absolute disgrace.

You choose among products officially available, you pay, you wait, then you receive an email to discover that those products were not available and are to be ordered. You keep on waiting... then you start to contact AmbienteDirect by email and you do not get any answer. So you try by phone and you hold on the line for half of hour, then someone tells you that the employee that's managing your order is on vacation and wiil be back to you asap. Of course you will keep on waiting uselessly beacuse nobody will reply to your request, not by email nor by phone. After 8 weeks you will decide to buy and to get shipped only the items available on stock. That's AmbienteDirect. It's written all over the web.
This order was processed quickly, delivered complete and in good time, perfect.
However, I also have an outstanding - prepaid - order since more than two months with poor information and no progress, so beware that the service is uneven.

Have ordered goods from AmbienteDirect.com twice now with perfect result. The company has kept me up2date with delivery information. Getting much better prices than ordering via Swedish firms and delivery mechanism is the same. From my experience I recommend this firm to anyone and I will soon return with new buys.
Very happy with floor lamp purchased. It was exactly what we expected. We were told it would take about 2 weeks to arrive and it was a day or two early. Overall very happy and would order online again.
I called to check the stock of this item before buying and was advised it was in stock and could be delivered in a week. I then bought the item by credit card and having heard nothing after some time I tried to call but held for ages so sent an e-mail. Having heard nothing apart from the automated response, 3 days later I tried to call again and held for ages so e-mailed again. I then received an e-mail asking me to send a copy of my credit card, but the payment had already been taken from this over two weeks previously. I called and held for a considerable time and was informed this was not necessary and the item would be shipped. I explained that the delivery address was empty and was told that I would receive a phone call to arrange delivery. No phone call was received, but delivery was attempted to an empty building and the item therefore returned to a depot. I rang to rearrange delivery and waited in an empty building for the timeslot given. No one arrived so I called and was advised it had been changed to delivery for the following day but no one had informed me. It was delivered the next day but the driver wouldn't deliver it to the door or into the building so it was left in the car park. When it was finally installed in the building it had a European plug so had to go and purchase an adapter. As things stand at the moment, I would not by from Ambiente again, nor would I recommend them.
The reasons for my disappointment with Ambiente Direct:
- I ordered a sofa in January
- When I ordered it, your web page told me it was "in stock"
- Tracing the parcel didn't work, telling twice about some action in Munich, nothing seemed to happen
- The DHL delivery man called February 20th when he was already on his way, leaving me 15 min to prepare and forcing me to cancel a meeting
- I was delivered no sofa, but armrests not belonging to my sofa and legs to a sofa...
- Your service center took more than 5 days to answer my email
- Then you spent additional 2 days because of the need to check whether the packaged legs of the sofa actually were the same color as on the label.
- I got my sofa mid March, but no answer to my e-mail after the sofa was shipped off
- I'm stuck with 2 unnecessary and heavy armrest which dhl refused to take when they brought the sofa
- My complaint was never replied nor did I receive any compensation
And I would like order lots of the products you sell - just not from YOU!
Ok, this is a hard one to review but will try to give you all details.
I had already bought 4 Vondom chairs and wanted 4 more, I was looking online and found them for a much lower price with Ambiente.
Love all their products and their website looked good so I purchased 4 Vondom chairs.
I did not get a conformation email and emailed them.
Got automated email back saying chairs would be shipped in 4 weeks.
Well this was Aug, and I finally received the chairs on October 24!
I believe that if they had just told me I would have had a good experience but the no answers to my emails and phone calls made me nervous.
Now that the chairs are here which came in perfect condition, I am really glad I did order from Ambiente because I saved a lot of money.
I hope they will offer better communication in the future.
Also do not take the pay by check, but American Express so you are protected.
Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase and saved lots of money!!!!!!!!

I bought the Fifty Nine sofabed from Ambiente Direct and was very happy that it proved to be cheaper than in the UK, was shipped direct to me and I could track it along the route.

The products are amazing but the delivery guys didn't offer to take it up to my house, they just left it with me at my apartment block front door and rushed off before I had a chance to ask them for help.
Je vous avouerai qu'à la suite de la lecture de certains commentaires j'ai eu peur pour ma commande. Mais finalement celle-ci s'est très bien passée. Produit en stock, il faut compter 3 à 4 jours pour la mise en expédition et le 4 à 5 jours pour le recevoir... Un peu long mais finalement tout nickel...
L'accueil au téléphone est parfait. Malheureusement j'ai voulu régler ma commande avec le pré-paiement et n'y suis jamais arrivée. Je vous ai fait 2 mails qui sont restés sans réponse. Je trouve que pour une important société comme la votre cela laisse à désirer et ne donne pas une très bonne image de celle-ci.
