Brilliant. Would use again.

We bought our LG washing machine. Usually go to Currys but decided to look on line. By far cheaper than anyone else....especially Currys!!!! Excellent next day delivery, whereas every other supplier seemed to not only be more expensive, but longer delivery times. Very impressed and would buy from here again.

Aplliance City fantastic service just how it should be!

We bought a stove, stove extractor and fridge/freezer from Appliance City. We had great advice pre-purchase coupled with a good price with a multi-buy discount. We had a few issues on delivery none of which were down to AC never the less they were very helpful in finding a solution.
Definitely recommend AC and will use them again

I ordered a Samsung washing machine on the forth of May and it was delivered on the eighth by Steve and Adam. The prompt and polite service by them was outstanding, the courtesy phone calls were very much appreciated; in addition, I was so impressed with the fact that the delivery arrived when they said it would and that they were so very helpful. They are a credit to your company and other companies and delivery services could do with taking a leaf out of your book. I appreciate excellent customer service and I will definitely be using appliance city again and recommending you highly to my friends and family for reasonable prices and excellent customer service! Also, the helpful lady who I ordered from was lovely and very efficient.

FANTASTIC BEFORE/DURING/AFTER SALES CUSTOMER SERVICES!

I purchased an American Style Fridge Freezer, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and Dishwasher along with an Oven, Hob & Extractor too.
Due to a renovation they postponed my delivery for three months (at my request) but during delivery one of the tubes supplying my ice maker came loose and was leaking. LG would not assist me and instead instructed me to claim from my 5 year warranty. After calling Appliance City they arranged for a senior engineer from LG to call me the next day and he visited the same day - all sorted!

I would thoroughly recommend Appliance City to anyone looking for good prices, great customer service and communication and reliable helpful delivery. I was buying a number of large items and I was given a very competitive price and was kept up to date with the progress of my order. I requested a certain day for delivery and it was organised for me and again I was kept in the picture of exactly what the latest was on my order and the delivery team who arrived were helpful and professional and took care to make sure everything was delivered safely.

Very disappointed with the product and service received

I bought a dishwasher from appliance city, a dishwasher i had spent over £500 on. After inspection i realised that the appliance actually had some loose parts to it, it is not something i expect from an appliance i have spent good money on. I did report this to appliance city and asked for a refund at this stage and raised my disappointment with them. I was advised that SMEG had to check the appliance. After Smeg investigation, they claim its meant to be like that and actually the problem has got worse. Serveral emails back and forth and phone calls, I am VERY DISAPOINTED to say that appliance city are doing nothing about it. From an online retailer who i thought had a good reputation for customer service- this is definately not the case. I would advise you to buy from any other firms and stay clear of this one! STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE!

When you reported the issue with the door on the dishwasher, there was no mention of loose parts. We have no evidence either written or via the voice recording that you asked for a refund but required an exchange. We readily agreed to a direct exchange, this was subject to the reported fault being verified by a Smeg engineer. The subsequent engineer visit revealed the dishwasher was not faulty and fully conformed to manufacturer’s specifications. This was also confirmed by Smeg UK.

We endeavour to provide a high level of customer service and always seek to resolve issues quickly and in a satisfactory manor. However, given the information from both the engineer and the manufacturer, we regret we were unable to offer an exchange or refund on this occasion.

fantastic delivery service

I had my american Fridge Freezer delivered yesterday and I wanted to comment on the excellent service of the delivery guys, Darren & Pavel.
We chose to purchase from Appliance city as the premium two man delivery service sounded good value for money. I'm so glad we chose that and didn't go with another company which didn't offer getting the item inside as it involved quite abit of work, which Darren and Pavel did quickly and efficiently making the task look easy. Giving a four hour delivery slot made it easy to plan for someone to be home and the pre call 30 minutes prior to arrival meant I didn't have to keep wondering when someone would be coming. I would highly recommend Appliance City to my family and friends. A great service.

Top Notch!

I liked the fact we could go and have a look at our chosen items at the showroom, to test quality of the appliances. We ordered our Rangemaster Cooker and Hood after trawling the internet for the best price - Appliance city were on the money.
Dealing with them was really easy, like communicating with a friend - Alicia was very accomodating. We had to change our delivery date three time due to our Kitchen fitter, but Appliancecity accomodated every time without fuss. Finally we phoned to arrange delivery at really short notice - our items were delivered within 48 hours 1st thing in the morning - fantastic!
If you are looking for a team to rely on, with a fast efficient and friendly service - this is your company - I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Recently tried to buy an expensive fridge freezer and found myself messed around by another company. Time was running out on my kitchen installation and I tried Appliance City - what a refreshing change! Rang them on a saturday and they said they needed to speak to Liebherr and would ring back Monday or sooner if possible. Got a call back later that day and confirmed they could supply my model and deliver following Friday. Only asked for a small deposit rather than whole amount as some do. Phoned day before to confirm delivery and delivery guys rang 30 mins before arrival. Everyone from sales to delivery was helpful and pleasant. Will definately use again and recommend to friends.

Excellent Service

At time of order (by phone as multiple units were being bought and there was a substantial discount given) and subsequently I had excellent service as delivery time was of essence and every effort was made to ensure that the goods were expedited. Furthermore the delivery actually arrived on time as agreed and again the delivery company could not have been more helpful as dates and times had to be changed but this was not a problem. I can only speak for deliveries in my area Central Scotland) I would unhesitatingly recommend this company.

Going the extra mile

Purchased a Haier Fridge Freezer through the web site and booked the standard one man delivery. Was contacted a day prior and was given a 4h window. Richard, the delivery man arrived in time and asked where the fridge freezer will go and offered to help to negotiate the appliance through the corridor to the kitchen. Frankly without his help would have been in trouble and was truly impressed for his initiative to go the extra mile and lesson learned, book the 2 men delivery in the future. Great service and will definitely use them again.

Outstanding service

I ordered a Liebherr fridge freezer on Monday morning and it has been delivered today (Wednesday early afternoon). The telephone order service was very good, the confirmation and follow up was outstanding and the delivery company "Smeg" contacted me on Monday lunchtime to arrange a convenient delivery time (to fit in with the school run). They could not have been more helpful. From beginning to end, a great shopping experience. Well done!

amazing customer care

I bought an intergrated fridge in July.Great price and delivered on time.
Then I broke the brackets that attatch the door to the unit.
My fault....
Contacted customer care to see if they could help.
They replied first thing the next day and sourced the brackets for me at no cost.
Amazing!
Other companies should take a a leaf from their customer care manual!

I ordered an Amercian fridge freezer from this company..... normally £700-800 but it was only £639 here. The delivery came on time (within the arranged time slot) i just had new vinyl laid down in the kitchen so i was worried in case it may rip, but they safely carried it through the kitchen without any damage which i was thankful for ... i'm ordering my cooker next from here !! brilliant and reliable service, would defo recommend !!!!! :-)

Superb service and value - before and after sale

Last November I was looking for appliances for a new kitchen we were fitting in January. After lots of research I felt Appliance City had all the items I was looking for. The website advised phoning for a price, which I did, and was given a 10% discount for a total order. I paid a deposit of £200 and was told I could pay the remainder when I arranged delivery.

At the end of January I called to arrange delivery, paid the deposit and my appliances were delivered within a week, on a pallet directly to the door.

During the whole preocess Appliance city kept in touch, without any pressure . It was all so easy, everything was in perfect working order, and the price I paid was considerably lower than anything else I could find.

On Tuesday this week (October), my dishwasher was flashing and wouldn't work. My husband called Appliance City on Tuesday afternoon. By Thursday morning at 10 o clock the repairman had organised an appointment, arrived and fixed my dishwasher and left !

I work as a kitchen designer for a large company and often recommend Appliance City for their prices, now I can include superb customer service in my recommendation.

In my opinion you would have to go a very long way to improve on their prices or their service - before sale and after.

You have now found the best place to shop for that new appliance.

I was very nervous ordering something this big (an American fridge freezer) but the staff at Appliancecity were very good at there job and very helpful too, They made it so easy to order and they kept me informed at every stage were my delivery was, And the two gentlemen that delivered it were so very good and very helpful I cannot praise them high enough.
I will be buying from them again.

Simply first class

Nervous about ordering some rather expensive items, but need not have worried. Delivered right on time by a very helpful driver, and the experience was made enjoyable by a top notch salesman who gave me a great price on the items I wanted, and made sure it all went smoothly. Will recommend to all who ask, and will certainly be back for more, buy with confidence.

Fantastic to deal with

I was a bit hesitant about ordering online from a company that I had never used before however my fears were completely unfounded. The entire process was seamless from order to delivery, I ordered my fridge freezer on the Thursday and Appliance City offered to deliver Saturday (that we couldn't take as we were busy!) The delivery was agreed for the Tuesday. The two delivery chaps were the most courteous and friendly delivery drivers that I have had the pleasure of dealing with, nothing was too much trouble and they had to overcome a few hurdles to get the freezer into the house as it is so big!! The price for the freezer was also the most competitive I could find online by quite some distance. I have already recommended Appliance City to friends and will have no hesitation in continuing to recommend them in future.

Cannot praise highly enough i have used Appliance City twice now. They kept me informed of delivery. Delivered within 2 days of ordering. prices over a hundred pounds less than high street. I would highly recommend and would buy from them again even if they were not the cheapest which they usually are.

We ordered a fridge and used the express delivery service which coincided with our kitchen refurb. The fridge was delivered in pristine condition and the delivery service was great I will definately be ordering further goods from them and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I purchased a full set of kitchen appliances for my new kitchen and spoke with a very knowledgeable salesman who advised me on what appliances would suit my needs. They gave me a very good price and as my kitchen wasnt being fitted for a few weeks they took a small deposit and stored the goods until i needed them, when i was ready for the appliances they delivered them within 3 days and the delivery drivers were very efficient delivering within the time slot that i had been told. All in all a very easy experience from start to finish.

Worst Yet

Siemens fridge did not work at all; bosch dishwasher arrived with lots of water inside the cabinet; neither were in manufacturer's packaging. Reported to Appliance City within 4 hours of delivery and was told they could do nothing until an engineer had visited to certify the situation and in any event the fridge had to be switched on for 12 hours before it could be deemed to be not working. The following day the manager offered to get replacements in two weeks (having waited 2 weeks for what was supposedly in stock). Under protest they agreed to have them collected and make a full refund (having first tried to get me to pay for the return costs). Took a further 3 weeks to get my £800 refunded after several phone calls!! In the meantime I got replacements from Appliancesonline in 24 hours admittedly at a slightly higher cost. DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS.

WARNING Do not use Appliance City

Wow, after reading the reviews on this site i would have thought that Appliance City was a good company. How wrong i was.

Their service is extremely poor, i bought an item and they took my money and arranged delivery for 8 days later (they said they could not get it to be faster). The night before delivery i get a phone call from someone to say they cant deliver to me because they put me on the wrong day and wanted me to wait another 5 days.

No apology was made and the person i spoke to said it was my fault for ordering the fridge in the first place. Anyway, i waited 5 days and on the day they said they would deliver no one showed up! Thats two days ive taken off work now to not get my fridge.

Called them the next day and they said that it was "missed off" and that i would have to wait another 4 days for delivery. I cancelled my order.

No apologies were made and the staff were very rude. If you want reliability and to be able to get after sales service where people care DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Shop elsewhere!

Great prices and service, what more could you ask for?

I ordered a washing machine and tumble dryer from them on Sunday. By Tuesday the called me to arrange delivery for Thursday and they delivered at 9:30am for a 9am to 12pm delivery slot.

Goods are in perfect condition. Excellent communication throughout.

If I had ordered the same machines from a popular high street retailer it would have cost me 30% more than what I paid. So in the end I am very happy, couldn't ask for more.

Stay away!!!

We ordered a bulk load of kitchen appliances,the first problem being that the american style fridge freezer was delivered broken.I then had to fight for a refund even though they didn't have and couldn't get a replacement.Then after only a month the washing machine broke and we had to have the motor replaced.Finally after only six months the dishwasher broke down!After having the motor replaced it broke again,and then after another repair it broke again!We contacted them to try and get a replacement and they have point blank refused,despite me getting advice from consumer direct.They were also rude on the phone.There after sales is AWFUL.Don't go there,I have never been so appalled of a company and I have dealt with quite a few!!!!!!!!
