Perfect : Car Hire in Italy

Best price car rental I found for Milan - excellent car, was nearly new. I would definately recommend these guys for car rental in Italy.

Fraud

I paid this company $90.00 for 3 day rental in San Francisco. they never sent the promised voucher so I would know which car rental company I would be getting car from. They never sent it and kept sending me emails without identifying information.
I never was able to procure the car. This is a FRAUDULENT company and stay away. I will report them to consumer affairs and the authorities in England. Shame on these criminals.

Beware hidden charges

Check the small print very carefully. I have used them twice to hire a car, and the second time was stung by a very large unexpected bill - a new charge that they carefully conceal when you make the booking.

It works like this. When you arrive at your destination to pick up the car, you are told that you have to pay an additional fee to cover a full tank of fuel. Now, I knew I was only going to use a quarter tank, but there are no refunds. Net result was that I was out of pocket by 60 Eur.

I complained, of course. But the problem is that the fine print is quite vague - it says that you might be charged, but that if you are you will 'probably' get a refund.

So, basically, I was fleeced and you might be too (by this or some other scam). I would avoid them.

I HIRED A CAR THROUGH ATLAS AND HAD A DISASTER WITH THEIR PARTNER COMPANY GOLDCAR THEY LEFT MY WIFE AND 5 CHILDREN ABANDONED IN A COUNTRY LANE FOR DEAD.
IF IT WASNT FOR THE POLICE AND FIRE SERVICE I WOULD STILL BE THERE NOW!!!
WHEN I ASKED FOR ATLAS TO HELP THEY LIED TO ME ESPEICALLY A CHAP CALLED HANS WHO PROMISED TO HELP THEN REFUSED TO SPEAK TO ME AGAIN
THIS COMPANY DESERVES ZERO CUSTOMERS
I EVEN HAD A BABY IN THERE HIRE CAR
YOU ARE A NATIONAL DISGRACE

Excellent

Booked car hire in Brest Airport via Atlaschoice - hadn't heard of them before but found them through webcarhirefrance.com where they were listed.

Seriously good value and the car was almost new - couldn't believe it! Two thumbs up for Atlas!
