I needed an item for the next day, but I had missed the deadline for next day delivery, I phoned and spoke to a very helpful member of staff who put the order through even though the deadline had passed and I received it the next day - excellent service
Item did not arrive on delivery day even though i paid for next day delivery i was told i would receive an email on when and where i would receive ithe item but did not It also arrived at the address i asked them not to send to on that day luckily someone was there Not impressed with service.at all
I ordered a bath , it came very promptly and was delivered by a very helpful driver. However the feet set was missing which meant the plumber I booked over easter could not fit it. I called the helpdesk number to be told by a female operator that my bath didn't come with a feet set, on pressing her to say it should I was told to email in and it would get dealt with. This I felt was not good enough so asked to speak to her line manager , a gentleman then came onto the line to say I should have the feet but due to the easter break the best he could do was get them out for Wednesday, not great.
Ordered items which were excellent value for money, however I did opt for next day delivery at the extremely overpriced cost of £45, this did not calculate on my bill and therefore added 2-6 day delivery. I therefore sent an email to the customer services dept to amend this, who state on there website they aim to answer them in an hour, I at least expected to hear the next day, I am still waiting now a week later. I then telephoned the next day and changed the delivery to what I wanted, but then I asked if the delivery driver would put the items in the garage, because they were being delivered to my elderly fathers house, I was told by the girl on the phone that they will drop kerb side and someone will have to move them. Thank goodness the driver is kind because he did put them in the garage. Good products bath empire pity about the staff because they let you down !!!
The items ordered arrived on time two sets shower cubicles complete with tray. Unfortunately one package was damaged (one door) and all items were returned including the undamaged items. This is causing unnecessary delay for the tiler and plumber. I am still waiting for the delivery.
I purchased the 1000x400mm Chrome Curved Rail Ladder Towel Radiator. The radiator looks stunning and feels well made obviously time will tell, the only downside for me was the mounting brackets, easy enough to install but not a fan of plastic taking any weight and they don't appear to be that strong.
When we purchased our vanity unit, we were told the item would be despatched in a couple of days and received notification that the item was on the way. When we did not receive anything, we contacted Bath Empire, only to be told that the item still had not been despatched as they had been 'out of stock'. Apparently the item is now being despatched on Tuesday 21st April although no delivery date has been confirmed. We needed this urgently and would never have ordered if we had known that the item was not even in stock. My partner has now had a heart attack and we now have no toilet or sink in our bathroom! If you had been honest about delivery, we would have at least waited until the vanity unit had arrived before disconnecting the old stuff. My parter was renovating our bathroom himself and it will therefore be months before he will be in a position to fit this! I am not pleased at all with your company.
After looking online for bathrooms the prices were getting higher and higher. However, with the online stores in the back of your mind 'if it's too good to true it probably is'. Though with seeing bath empire at the Ideal Home Show all worries were gone. Orders placed and now waiting on delivery!
