Horrible

I have tried to order a specific item twice from Beals. The first time they sent the wrong item, the second time they didn't put my name on the label so the item was shipped back Via UPS as nobody knew who it belonged to at the Shipping company I use. Bear in mind I order online a LOT... and I have never had a company who can't manage to put a name on the label.

They promised me they would reship it once received back.
I was able to use the tracking number to follow the package back to Beals online... and saw it was received by them. I let them know ...and they told me they would re-ship.

After waiting three weeks, I contacted them to ask where my order was, they told me they were cancelling it and if I still wanted it, I had to re order.

This whole experience took at least 6 emails back and forth. They knew i wanted the item and didn't want refunding.... then they refunded me anyway... less the shipping.

The whole time... their customer service was aluf and uncaring. Like they really do NOT care one tiny bit about their customers.

When I did go to re order the item through Amazon... (because it was really a beautiful item that I wanted... badly unfortunately).... they had pulled the item from availability.

Not a very up front and honest crew there are Beals. It's a wonder they stay in business.

Horrible Experience - Don't buy here.

I purchased a watch on 12-14-2013 for a Christmas present. I received a confirmation of purchase email and notice that the item should arrive in 6 days, which would be just before Christmas. When it still had not arrived, I decided to call.... They then told me that my order was cancelled because they didn't have enough of them and that they sent me an email... I never received an email, I even checked my junkmail and spam folder and there was never an email sent to me. I had been checking the status of my order on their web-site also, and it still says it's in the system - it does not say cancelled. Now it's right before Christmas and I don't have the gift to give. Customer service as horrible and did not care whatsoever. They also said that a supervisor was on the other line when I asked to speak with one, and they said the supervisor would call me back.... that call never happened. This company is terrible and has gone down hill from what they used to be.... GO TO AMAZON and stop buying from the big box retail stores that can't deliver their promises. Unbelievable that I had to call to find out they decided not to ship my item. No email No phone Call no Watch. Sure they make it easy to buy something on line, but you don't get your item. Go somewhere else for sure, this company and website can not be trusted.

Don't expect your items to show up for several weeks

I have ordered from Beall's in the past and not had bad experiences, but that has changed. I got an email from them advertising "Last day to shop and still get Christmas delivery," from which I ordered 2 items for my Dad. I even used their "LASTDAY" coupon for free shipping and 20% off. That was on Wednesday the 18th. On Friday, I checked the status of the order to find that there was no tracking number yet. I sent an email to them and about a while later received an email with a tracking number. Today is now Saturday the 21st, and the tracking number shows it has not yet been picked up by UPS, who is to hand it off to the post office. I used their cat and got a pathetically unhelpful yahoo who had nothing to say except that they shipped it as fast as they could. Really? I'd hate to see what slow is if it takes 4 days to even get it ready to ship! And if I hadn't emailed them on Friday, it probably wouldn't have gotten this far. I then called customer service, and got some woman who promptly told me I should have ordered earlier! She offered no assistance at all, except for saying there's a slight chance it might get there before Christmas. UPS picks up in the afternoons, then it goes through their regional hub overnight, then will get delivered to the post office sometime Tuesday. There's no way in heck that package will get on a mail truck to be delivered on Tuesday. The worst part is the store is only about an hour's drive from where it will be delivered!

It ticks me off that Beall's doesn't offer next day, 2-day or priority mail shipping. And to offer something they can't begin to deliver on should get their license yanked.

So, if you order from this store, don't expect to actually get your items for 2 to 3 weeks after you order. And then, expect to have to follow-up with them every step of the way, as they are apparently incapable of completing an order by themselves. I seriously doubt I will buy anything from their stores, even though they have a lot of unique items. What a shame their customer service SUCKS so badly. It's more like customer disservice. We're not happy until you're not happy.

Thanks for ruining my daughters Christmas concert

As an avid amazon and ebay shopper I order things online frequently. I am generally very happy with online purchases and order most items online to keep myself out of the stores.
I ordered a dress via bealls on amazon for a Christmas concert for my daughter. Purchasing this dress was a big deal for her as she has some major parts in the program this year. To say she was excited would be a huge understatement. Upon checkout I noticed that the shipping had increased from 3$ to 12$. I was fine with the cost as I assumed such a high cost would at least assure me priority shipping. Upon checkout I was horrified to see that the arrival date was going to be close to 14 days estimated and immediately contacted customer service as this would completely miss our engagement. Please note that we live in Alaska however priority mail still costs the same amount, and ships in 3-5 days ensuring the item would be here in time. I also checked the policies of Bealls Florida and noted that they almost always ship priority mail.
Upon contact customer service was entirely lacking. Amazons site let me know that I should contact seller to cancel the item and I emailed them, but they insisted that they could not cancel the item as it had already shipped (mysterious as it had no tracking information) I then contacted again and they insisted it had shipped. Today on thanksgiving somehow the status has changed and now shows shipped per ups however no one ships on Thanksgiving and the UPS website has no information on the package except a label was created. There is zero reason they could not have canceled the order as I contacted almost immediately after purchase. To make matters significantly worse they keep stating that I can return the item, mind you this is at my cost, so 12$ plus my return shipping for a tiny 24$ dress, and they can take weeks before they give you your refund (all stated on their company website on amazon). Don't believe me look at their policies. I would avoid this company at all cost. Most likely if you don't need customer service you will have no issue but... if you do and we all know things happen occasionally they will do NOTHING to make you happy.

They just won't try to make their customers happy...

I have dealt with other merchants on Amazon and have received very good experience with most of them when it comes to flexibility and price match; however, this company is not very flexible in assisting and satisfying their customers...I ordered some frames on Amazon and wanted them to ship them to a different address because I accidentally put in the wrong address. Instead of making it right, they chose to cancel the order. When I tried to reorder, the price of the product rose so I asked if they could match the previous price and a flat NO...This company seems to have very bad training in customer service wise like who cares whether you are going to buy from them or not...bad attitude...they can easily make things right for customers like me but NOPE, they got enough customers to maintain their business I guess...so disappointed in their management!
