Fine until you return somthing
Good until you need to return something.
I returned a IP Camera that would drop off my Wifi after a few minutes. Hopeless.
Returned, but they'll only give me 90% back as they say that by opening the box I had taken ownership. First time I've seen Distance Selling Directive interpreted this way.
Never again.

We are sorry you're upset with your order placed on April 12th.
On April 21st, you raised a returns for a refund and you mentioned on your returns form the camera had the following issue.
“Just not reliable enough. Fine on wired network, but only works for 20 minutes at a time on WiFi. No updates available from manufacturer yet”.
The unit was tested and no fault was found. Because the camera was in ‘used’ condition and no longer in new condition, 90% refund was issued.
With reference to distance selling regulations. All orders have been placed under your company and distance selling regulations only apply to consumers.
We have offered you a complimentary remedy to the refund. But it would appear you’re still upset.
Again, we apologise for any upset caused.

Great customer service and delivery, will buy from again
Bought a Gigaset E500A Duo for my parents in their early eighties. Mum has dementia and this product fitted the bill. Cheaper than a main internet supplier and wonderful customer service to boot.
When temporal memory fails with age, having a phone with 1-4 key pad contacts with names on the base station is a godsend. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in a similar position and a great company to deal with.

Decent telephone manner and first class delivery
I arrived at their site because their price was 20% cheaper than the best of the others. I had reservations because of some previous reviews concerning refurbished goods but mine were brand new, just as they said they would be.
My experience was excellent but I did not have a problem and so did not have to test their resolve when a problem arose.

Arrived ahead of Schedule
I ordered a VOIP phone and power lead expecting them to take several days to arrive. I'd not paid for express delivery and everything arrived within 2 days.
Brilliant service so next time i need anything that they may be selling i will definitely buy from them.

Prompt and efficient service, goods dispatched on afternoon that order was placed and arrived 2 days later.
Bought replacement NTE5, faceplate fitted existing wall mounting without difficulty and it worked. Don't require anything more than that really.

This is service as it should be.
I phoned for advice about the device late one afternoon. The staff member speaking agreed with me that I didn't need to spend as much money as I'd initially envisaged, then quoted a number which took me straight to an alternative product page on the website. I tried hard for half an hour to find an alternative elsewhere, or a cheaper price - with no success. So I bought it and it arrived as promised the following morning - much less than 24 hours. I plugged it in and it worked immediately. End of story.

brilliant service
ordered the router ' at midday, router arrived nine in the morning the next day.
that is quick, router was easy to setup, one word of caution if you have key scrambler,
TURN IT OFF. lost some time inputting my username and password.
other than that, no problems, download has improved by two and a half time's what i was getting.

I had both my Powerline adapters in use and needed a third. I had looked at many web sites for the 200 model I have, but could only find the 211 series. I posted a question to Broadbandbuyer on line late in the evevning and recieved a reply the following day to confirm the compatability.
What else could I do but perchase the product from them. I believe it was a great price also.

Outstanding!
Purchased Solwise AV500 kit. Plug in and go. Does what it says on the tin, get 1Gbs connection to the router.
Unfortunately had to download the software as both accompanying CDs were cracked. Minor inconvenience.

One order, two parcels, two couriers, two deliveries!...
BB Buyer have always been very good and with keen prices. Only minor grumble on my last order was that I paid for a courier service so that I could wait around at home for the least time possible on the basis of at least knowing roughly when a delivery should arrive. As it was two items were placed on the same order but sent separately by two different couriers for two different delivery times, and tracking info was only supplied for one of them - I had to ask C.S for the other tracking info. Fortunately they both arrived within an hour of each other, but not the smoothest transaction this time around. Otherwise though C.S very helpful and no complaints.

Perfect service
I ordered this switch for home use - I have used it in the office previously. Switch is perfectly OK, can work with Wireshark, as it has option to port mirroring, delivered extremly quickly - next day (I choose the cheapest delivery option). I do reccomend this switch to anyone - for this price it is bargin.

Not Impressed
Bought a APC UPS paid for next day shipping, was informed it had been lost in transit although I never saw any tracking details to verify this.
Was told a replacement unit would be sent was contacted the following day to say they could not send me a replacement as they couldn't buy one in at the advertised price so a refund was my only option.
Lesson learned these guys don't have stock of items they buy from other sellers and re-sell on, was very dissapointed with the service.

Found Broadbandbuyer.co.uk as the result of a Google search looking for a firewall router without modem or wireless. Broadbandbuyer had a range of products available. I chose a Netgear product and ordered. The process for ordering and paying was simple, I selected next day delivery and got it even though I didn't place the order until about four in the afternoon. All round a great service and I will use them again when I need bits and pieces for some digital plumbing.

Fast delivery and bargain price.
I purchased a 'B' grade MGE 68452 Evolution 850VA Uninterruptible Power Supply Unit online after an initial telephone enquiry to establish exactly what 'B' grade meant. Very helpful explanation and found no need for any reservations when it arrived very swiftly as it was indistinguishable from new. Consequently I saved over 40% on the new price to replace a 5 year old unit that had sadly died. Would highly recommend this company.

Quick service and good prices, but the item was sold as new and in a refurbished condition.
Ordering and delivery were all fine, but when I received the item (a VoIP phone) the condition of the box and indeed the contents all pointed to it being a refurbished unit. For example, the manual had scuffed and turned edges. The box had definitely been opened and resealed, and there was a scuff mark on the handset of the phone.
I spoke with BroadbandBuyer's customer service and whilst the lady was pleasant enough there was nothing she could suggest other than I send it back for a refund. Unfortunately I needed the phone then and there so that wasn't a viable option.
She assured me that the phone was sent to them as new a couple of days previous from Gigaset, but there is no way the unit was new. She did also offer to send photos to Gigaset/Siemens in the slim hope that they might do something, but I haven't had time to do that yet.
What would have made me a happy customer (and maybe a wishful one...) was the offer to send out a new phone and collect this one at the same time. Rather than me have to arrange a courier etc at my own expense and be without a phone at the same time for x number of days.
Edit: I see someone else below has posted a near identical experience to mine (including the same phone, the DX800A). I've changed my rating to reflect that.

BBB purchases all brand new stock from a Gigaset authorized UK distributor. Unbeknown to BBB, yourself and Peter Embling (review 23rd March) received DX800A from a bad batch that was supplied to us only days before your orders.
Unfortunately we weren't aware of the condition of these DX800A’s when they were shipped out because the condition of the stock looked new on the outside.
Since numerous weeks have passed since your order was placed. I hope you’re new phone is working satisfactorily after we collected the original phone.
Again, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and I am pleased to confirm a policy is now in place to prevent this incident from happening again from the Gigaset distributor whom supplied us with the stock.

We've used BBB several times over a period of years and will continue to use them without equivocation.
I found BBB via an internet search looking to buy a router - I'd been given a model recommendation by our IT man and did a quick search - BBB came up at the top of the list and, having compared the prices with a number of companies (and found them to be very competitive), I placed an order.
Needless to say the order confirmation, associated communications and delivery were faultless and this has resulted in numerous repeat sales in the years since that time, with the most recent being less than a fortnight ago for a new router that worked with our upgraded Internet connection to Fibre to the Cabinet.
