Will sell your data forever
I loaded my info on CareerBuilder about 10 years ago and have been getting calls on loosely related, often sketchy sounding jobs ever since.
Back in 2021 (!!!!) I engaged with Career Builder for a full deletion of my data. My account was deleted and I can still confirm that, yet here I am in late summer of 2026 still getting calls from recruiters on jobs that aren't really relevant and sound only tentatively legit. They confirm they got my info from CareerBuilder. As my info has not been on the site for 5+ years, it can only come from CareerBuilder selling a list including my very old, supposed to be deleted data.
I regret ever putting my information into this company. That they are still selling my data so many years later really shows the poor integrity they have for their product -- they are selling these companies data that is at least 5 years old, given that I wiped my data in 2021! (It was out of date before that but whatever).
Absolute worst job hunting site.

CareerBuilder delivers constant spam from both their site and countless recruiters from the resume I never posted on there, but only edited. A year ago I submitted for my info to be removed and I never agreed to share my resume, but its still occuring. Greed is a bad trait to hold.
