I used to love CRC. Very unhappy for the last 5-6 purchases.
1. I bought a 2013 Rockshox Reverb which turned out to be a faulty 2012 Reverb.
2. I bought a £500 Vivid air shock. It didn't come in the original packaging, without any manuals, without the promised pump and with mounting hardware which I had to hammer out. That's a £500 item!!!
3. On my last purchase more than half of the items came in plastic wrappers. 2 Disc brakes just in plastic, no discs even though this wasn't specified.
In general, if you can buy it somewhere else for a similar price, do it. I need to buy a fork, wheels and headset and am looking elsewhere.

BEWARE: You cannot cancel your order 2 seconds after you've made it.
They will FORCE you to receive the unwanted item, get Charged for it, pay ridiculous shipping fees (even though they say free, they conveniently leave out shipping outside of the UK will cost you) I have to pay $45 fees on an $80 pair of shoes. AND then if you want to return YOU HAVE TO BARE THE COST. Which is usually more than the item itself!
On top of all that, the DHL Express 2-4 day guarantee has taken OVER a week and a half. I STILL have not received my item.
Customer Service calls go unanswered, emails un-responded. I can only pray that they got my order right, and judging from other reviews, its a toss up.
Save yourself the trouble, DO NOT ORDER from them, do some more research these guys are just not worth it.
Poor service received from CRC with a warranty claim on an Easton wheel i had bought from them. It took 10 weeks to the day to get it back from them after they received it on 18/07/13.
Between supplier taking 6 weeks to fix it & then CRC getting it back to there warehouse then posting it to the wrong address the wheel finally arrived today with my details & someone elses postage & personal details on the box.
My experience dealing with CRC has been a disaster from the start. I'll be spending my money elsewhere from now on as should you.
I shop A LOT in the UK (often on sundays) and the Standard delivery time is usually good between 2-4 days - sometimes even 1-2 days.
But i must say that ChainReactioncycles.com is WAAAY TO SLOW - your standard delivery says 2-6 days, but SORRY to say, its more like 5-8 days.
Ordered a new frame to be delivered next day and was sent completely the wrong item. After requests for photos of the item it took all day for them to even read my email and view the photos. After chasing them I was told it would take days before the right frame could be sent even though it was in stock as the support team had to review the whole thing! Had to cancel the order in the end an go elsewhere.
I bought 2 tires from these jerks. What they sent were 2 of the wrong types of tires that were completely usable for me. Instead of owning up to the error and taking care of business they refuse to take the actions necessary to correct the situation.
I sent them pictures, the urls of the product I ordered and even the url of the wrong product they sent. I finally had to open a PayPal dispute to even get their attention.
I hope they go out of business.
I've ordered from CRC many times in the past and the delivery times have been fantastic, most times the items have been with me the next day.
I ordered a bike on Monday and as of close of play Thursday, the item is still sat in "processing". I emailed the 4 times and finally got a reply to the last one, well when I say reply, I mean a very generic "there has been a unforeseen problem" email!!! After another email I got an email saying it should be with me by next Wednesday.
I won't be using them again. I now believe that Wiggle are now the top boys.
They sent totally the wrong items. They quickly admitted it was their fault. They sent a return slip for pickup and then refund me. They don't have the right inventory item associated with the stock number. It is still wrong on the website.

Ordered the Compressport R2 Race & Recovery Calf Guards - T2 - Blue after another terrible experience by the company with the negative review I left on here whereas I was needing the item quickly. Ordered on Wednesday night and recieved, in good condition Friday morning, Quick! Needed them for a race on Sunday so thanks for that CRC! Not had a negative experience after many previous orders and this company comes highly recommended by me for there choice, service and pricing, keep up the good work.

In the time I have used this company I have to contact customer service two time and have reciceived a good service every time.
1. I have ordered a wrong frame (my mistake) and whan to cancel my order, but it was already send. So I was ask by customer service to just not received the case and then it just returned and I got all my money back..
2. Ordered a new frame and have just received it and found some scratch. Contacted customer service and they looked at the picture I send to them and ask me to return the frame or received a discount. I accepted the discount..
If they have a system, so it was possible to cancelled a order, when it was not send yet, then I will have give the last star.
But I can only recommend this company and will continue to use it..
Sorry, but I can simply not recommend CRC for anything. I ordered a few items, amongst two Schwalbe Rocket Ron Evo 2,1*26" and got a pair of a lesser model. Their web said evo model, and 435 gramms. I got the wrong goods after many days, and I immediately sent them a notice of the wrong tires. After 3 days they said I ordered the wrong stuff myself, even though it was their fault. They also said I could just return the tires, and I will get my money back, but at my own expence. Since it's not my fault, I have written them again... I'll never ever recommend them to anyone, and will never make buisness with them again. Lousy shop with lousy customer care. Stay away and save yourself the trouble.
Will update, if I will hear from them again, and it turns out positively, and may change stars.

Update: I finally called the company after some writing forth and back, as they told me to mail it back, but cost was nearly the same as the price for the goods, and this I told them on the phone. I lost working hours, telephone expenses and a lot of hassle. Finally they said they are sorry and offered me to just keep the wrong goods. Well, they could have done that in the fist place, as I honestly explained them the situation. So I have now changed the rating to 2 stars after all. Eventually one may look for bikediscount.de (not the same as bike-discount.de). I got the goods in three days. No prob´s. So I bought my XX1 group there instead.
I use this company on a regular basis (weekly) and have never had a problem. Items come as described and in good time. They sell at a very competitive price. I have returned items before due to ordering the wrong size and they have have always refund my money with no questions asked. Would trust this company a great deal

Par contre, le traitement des commandes peut être un peu long et, surtout, aucune de mes commandes n'a respecté le délai de livraison annoncé (compter 2 à 3 semaines, soit environ 10-12 jours ouvrés, pour un délai annoncé de 3 à 6 jours ouvrés). Personne, chez CRC, ne vous informera de la situation votre colis. Seul un formulaire de déclaration de perte vous sera envoyé, il sera à remplir si votre colis n'est pas livré dans les 15 jours ouvrés après l'envoi (soit 3 à 4 semaines). De plus, pas de suivi de colis pour une livraison standard.
I've ordered twice from CRC this month. Answer carbon riser bars and then SRAM XO front shifter. Both items were well priced, and delivered next day to mainland UK.
Website has fantastic range, fair prices and free returns labels are included in the box when you receive your item. Not had to call on them for customer service, but whilst all is well I've no reason to complain about anything.
Quick deliveries have kept me on the bike so one happy customer here!
these guys have terrible service ...its hit or miss in the last 2 weeks i placed 3 orders ..first one was mysteriously discontinued after i ordered so there was no charge..second order was the same way mysteriously one of the parts was discontinued after i ordered ...they didnt charge me... but i paid for 2 day shipping it took 2 days to gather the order some came from dhl still waiting on parts from another currier over a week...they refunded my shipping..but i havent recieved it yet ...when the parts came 2 items were wrong i emailed to complain and they said sorry ...and mysteriously those parts in the color i ordered are discontinued ???? again....i sent them part numbers for new parts to replace them...they want me to pay shipping to return the wrong parts then they will asses and send me the new ones....they stopped replying too my emails when i told them im not payin for their mistake ...they should send me the new parts and when they arrive i will release the wrong stuff with the currier.....

I have soon bought for over 20.000kr bicycle parts from them, and I am generally very satisfied.
Their prices fluctuate greatly, and you must do a thorough price check before you can say with certainty if CRC is cheaper or not.
The parts they sell are mostly of good quality, but I have been a bit unlucky with a few parts that were of poor quality.
You may be lucky to find parts for half the price, and they have a very wide selection.
Fast delivery, about 2-4days. (as this is a foreign company, this is a reasonable delivery time)
I had to make a single complaint from them, about a "knog" bicycle lock, and they needed neither the old or other documentation to check my statements, they asked only whether I wanted a refund or a new sent. The new lock arrived three days later.

Bref, le seul moyen est de prendre un envois recommandé hors de prix, plus aucun intérêt alors d'acheter sur ce site. Vraiment déçu, et surtout c'est vraiment à vos risques et périls - il y a des sites bien plus sérieux, même s'il peut y avoir quelques euros d'écart, et encore, cela n'est valable que pour certains produits d'appel! Réfléchissez bien avant de commander chez eux.
I have made two purchases from CRC. The first one went flawless and I was therefore happy and comfortable to make a second order.
My second order consisted of 14 items in total. SKINS running stuff and some High 5 energy powder. Total order round $1.000.
Received confirmation that everything was OK and a notification from CRC when the complete shipment left their stock. So far so good...
Yesterday I received my package including packing list confirming the 14 items. Problem was, that the package only contained 12 items. Two SKINS items were missing...
I immediately phoned their customer service and was told that they were not able to deliver one of the two missing items after all (although I had confirmation that it was in fact in stock and dispatched to me) - and that the second item was - well in stock, so she would send it....
I asked what would have happened if I hadn't noticed this myself: She didn't know.
I asked if I would get my money back on the non-deliverable item. She said yes - but could't say when.
I asked if I would get a confirmation regarding the money that they would transfer back and the last SKINS item that she promised to ship. She replied that I would, but she didn't know when.
Today I haven't still heard a single peep from CRC and when I log in to my account on their website it still says, that all items on my order have been dispatched. My CC is still charged the full amount...
This kind of behavior would have been expected a few years ago when Internet Shopping was still hype. But to experience such a lame order management and customer service today - and from a company who claims to be the worlds largest in its field - offering "World Class E-commerce".... is simply not good enough.
Unless I receive a response from them within the next 24 hours with some kind of indication that they have my account under control, this was my last buy from CRC.
I decided to replace the majority of parts on my bike, and decided to order the majority of it through chain reaction cycles. This consisted of around 5 separate orders containing on average about 10 items each over the period of about a month. It also included multiple returns for items which did not fit or I just didn't want. The whole experience was hassle free, delivery was always quick, prices were always good, and returns were very simple. Returning an item is also free if the package is under a certain dimension. 30 x 30 x 60cm I believe. I will DEFINITELY use them again!

THese guy from royal post stole ehrm... package when I refused an order ( after talking to Chain reaction ) and it has been '' lost '' .
would be nice if there would be sing for delivery but other than that the chain reaction are amazing :)
