Very pleased.
I was looking for a Gardman 5-tier Greenhouse with reinforced cover, and Charlies Direct came up as the very best price. Even with postage, it was cheaper than elsewhere for exactly the same product. Another company wanted the same price for just the cover!
Delivery was prompt, and I was kept informed by email of every step of the process.
We are very pleased with the greenhouse....which we are using as an outdoor shoe store!!
All in all, a very good transaction, and I would be happy to purchase from Charlies Direct again.

Excellent
Charlies Direct contacted mey by phone to advise about additional postage costs, then kept me up to speed with where my order was and when I could expect delivery.
The item was packaged very well and delivered within the advertsied time.
The price of the item was very favourable when compared with other outlets and I would definitely recommend and use Charlies Direct again.

In stock items took a week to dispatch
It really didn't ought to take a week to dispatch items that are purportedly in stock, as has happened here.
Still not received the ordered items after 8 days.
Price was good, mind you, hence the order being made. Next time, though, if I need stuff to arrive in a timely manner, I think I'll go elsewhere.

Avoid them - they do not deliver and customer service comes up with excuses
On 12-Apr I placed an order for a couple of items all of which appeared to be in stock on the website. Money has been taken of my account almost immediately. As no email was received six days after the order was placed, I emailed them to be told that the delay was caused because the ordered goods were not stored at the same location, but the order was ready and about to be dispatched. The next day and without having received anything I was invited to review their service. Six further days passed without any news about the order before I decided to ask for a refund.
Even the 1 star is too much for them.

Very pleased with items and price thanks!!!!
We ordered a few camping bits and I was very pleased with the price we got as they were much cheaper than anywhere else.
The items came and were very well packed
The only negative I have is that it took a little longer than I would expect to dispatch the items , however I will definately be using Charlies Direct again!!!!

Asked me to feed back before completing my order
Nine days ago I ordered some simple items all of which were in stock on the website. However I got a e mail after 3 days advising that one of my items was out of stock. So I called Charliesdirect as requested and ordered an alternative cancelling the original item. I then got a call back advising me my replacement wasn't fully available. Then they found one so I accepted an ex display model ( no discount was offered). I was told at this point my order shouldn't be long. Today I still have not been advised my order has been dispatched and I get asked for feedback. So my feedback is that I'm not impressed with the service I'm getting and thinking about cancelling my order. Shame really loved the products and the prices.

waste of time
they said the clock i was buying was dual chime waited 2 weeks to come into stock when arrived it was not what they said and was only one chime. waste of time and waiting in and phone calls. would never ever shop with again

Misleading stock information
I was looking for a Gelert Atlantis 5 tent, so I put the name of it into Google and Charlies came top in the price comparison. I went to the website and ordered, my money was taken. After a couple of days I received an email saying that my tent was temporarily out of stock and offering me an alternative. When I said I didn't want and alternative and asked when the tent I wanted would be back in stock, they confessed that it wouldn't be. However, it's still showing on their website and it's therefore still coming up on price comparisons and sucking people in. When I pointed this out to them, they ignored me. I did get a refund quickly though.

Price good, deivery poor
Delivery service poor I was sent an email saying large item would be delivered between 07.30 and 17.30 on a specific day and I waited in for it. Item did not turn up when I rang delivery service they blamed Charlies and said I could get a refund on my delivery charge - when I rang Charlies they blamed the delivery service and said no refund so not too impressed with service.

Good Prices and Super Fast Delivery

Excellent company to deal with
Excellent initial order with fast delivery and cheapest price. After having a problem with the product (Hunter Wellingtons) some 2 months after purchase, Charliesdirect were superb in arranging a replacement from the manufacturer. The member of staff who dealt with me was courteous, professional and kept me informed throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and will be dealing with them again.

What can I say, price was far cheaper than my local retailer and the customer service team are second to none. Delivery arrived within 24hrs even though it was booked on a 3 day service to the Highlands! Well done everyone, I'll definately purchase again x

Great Prices, Fast Delivery - will use again
Never used Charlies direct before......always sceptical of newish online companies. But hey give it a go......pay with credit card and you are covered!
Excellent prices compared to local discount garden centre, i brought 2 rolls of garden mesh which was the price of one roll i brought locally (thats going back for a refund). Also brought a fruit cage ...at good price. Charge for P&P very very reasonable considering bulk, order process easy and delivered within 2 days via Citylink .....no probles, Thank you Charlies.....will shop with you again.

Item in stock when order then told no stock
Like similar reviews here i ordered a tent for £50 that showed in stock. Three days later told its not in stock and did i want to make another choice. No discount given no compensation. Thus cancelled the total order £75. Customer services were good with contact and carrying out my request for full refund. Will not use again. Sorry

Take your money dont give you goods
Website said good were in stock so ordered, money was taken off then 2 dsys later I got an email saying they didnt have stock. I checked the site again and it still said in stock. asked for a refund and it was done straight away. good enough responce but wont order again until the sort out their stock control on the site.

Why advertise a product you don't actually have?
Purchased an item online. 4 Days later I was contacted to say the item wasn't in stock and would I like an alternative smaller item for the same price paid. I asked for repayment which was very quick, but I have just checked again and they are still advertising the item as available. This should be removed immediately as it is misleading information.

claim in stock when its not
The web site showed it in stock.
As I'm weary of internet companies promising in stock when its not I rang up to double check and was promised in stock for imminent dispatch.
Two days later got an email telling me out of stock and will take an extra week to get hold of.
I like to think the best of people so Charles direct may just have a poor stock control system but that's not much consolation.
