So I was going to sign up for this website called filmlush.com. Then I decided to open a new tab and see if there were any other alternative free streaming sites to watch "Game of Thrones" on. I opened one for cinemaden.com. I switched back to the other tab - IT WAS THE SAME EXACT WEBSITE, except with a different name and slightly different appearance, but the descriptions, options, phone number and everything are identical, verbatim. See for yourself.
Later, I found another version of the filmlush website, but the words and page layout were still exactly the same on the signup page:
And check it out. I went to the signup page for cineble.com, and this is what I got:
These guys aren't even trying. I mean, if you're going to continue using your dodgy website to con people by slapping a different NAME on it, at least change the layout and words too. Duh. Conmastery 101. However, they present an official-looking appearance, and if I didn't double check, I might have done it, thinking I would be able to cancel before they charged me. According to some reviews, they can be real ******* ************ *** **** ********s, and maybe I wouldn't have gotten the chance to do that. So I'm glad I checked, and figured I'd post this to help others realize the scary and predatorial ways of these websites.
I've been reading several horrible reviews, and apparently "CINAMUSE, CINEMADEN, FILMLUSH, and FLIXADDICT, among others, all have the same ip-address [as CINEBLE]." (caps added) They are all operated by iMovies Ltd, according to the man on this page:
Check out how smarmy these guys are:
They say, "We are a lean mean coding machine. We've been operational for about 2 years now, but we've only just begun to show the world what we're capable of. The clients we've had thus far have been extremely pleased with the work we've done for them. So pleased in fact that they keep coming back for more! And of course we're happy to oblige."
YUCK. I mean, these guys are slimy. I got sick to my stomach reading that.
JUST LETTING YOU GUYS KNOW! I'll be posting this on all the complaint boards for these websites.
I'm researching a movie, the cinamuse suggest they have in their library and guide you free sign up. But I was told they will charge me after 5 days and I have to call and cancel. After I sign up, I found the movie I looked for was not existed. Shit! It's a SCAM,
SCAM SCAM, shit company
I am so glad I looked into reviews about this site before giving my credit card number. I'm sad that so many have had to go thru so much for using this site, but I appreciate the time you've taken to prevent others from having to go thru the same. Gotta LUV the internet!!!
You are a terrible site that asks for credit card info for a "free" membership. Then they charge you out of the blue for no reason each month? What happened to free??? Then they have no movies worth watching. All the movies they DO have are of poor poor quality. I mean it looks so fuzzy that you can't even pinpoint what is going on. The sound is awful. Please avoid at all costs. You should be taken to court for the scam you are pulling,
I did the 7 day trial and cancelled it after 1 day as they didn't have the film that was advertised. Now they have charged my card, including a foreign transaction fee, and massive fraud has occurred on my account. Suddenly my credit card is being used fraudulently across the internet. I had to cancel the card, file an affidavit of fraud, etc. I called and reported all of this to the site but it's a bit late at this point. They did not respond to numerous emails.
I discovered that cinamuse had been charging my credit card a monthly fee without my authorization. I tried calling 4 times, using every menu option, to speak with someone in their customer service department. I was disconnected every time--don't bother trying to reach customer service, they don't actually want to help you. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, but I'm sure that won't concern cinamuse; they're not BBB accredited anyway.
They have nothing worth viewing, they get you into their site by movie searches and hint that the movie you are looking for is there when it is not. The movies they have are nothing but crap.
This website should be shut down for false advertisement at the very least.
To bad I had to give them a one star rating as they do not even deserve that.
Being a student, i was annoyed by this website. This scam has cost me my food for the month. This website will be posted around universities noticeboards to warn others to stay away.
Absolutely awful website for too many reasons. They bribe you in with a free movies, that arent free, automatically sign you up for the membership without permission (which i think is discusting, and an obvious attempt at pulling people in because they know that no one will optionally pay £25 a month for awful quality movies) And finally charging you to cancel it.
Discusting awful scam! Stay AWAY from this website. You will save more money going to the cinema, paying for popcorn and paying for all your mates. I hope this website gets shut down.
Made the mistake of signing up for a free trial.
They had horrible movies so I didn't return.
Seen that I had been charged almost $200 for 4 months of service post trial!
Cancelled service, was charged fee for cancellation.
Was charged another $42 because I cancelled ''after last billing period''
So they charged me like $250 and I never watched one movie.
