Free site - NO way!!! Didn't see the part about being charged after 5 days. Never saw one movie! Then a charge appeared on my MasterCard statement. REALLY! Great scam because they can get away with it. You'd think they'd want happy customers. Obviously NOT!!! No more signing up for FREE sites.
i think what is sad is these guys actually think there is only a FEW bad reviews.. they are ALL bad. i was going to sign up, glad i didnt... i am forwarding this to the AGO, and warning all military folks to avoid this and their numerous sister sites..
I wrote them and told them I couldn't print the confirmation page and I didn't want to be a member if I had no proof, so they said they would discontinue my membership instead of helping me confirm. Supposedly the money was given back and then I saw a charge for $1.00 in addition to the $2.95, and then the next day another $1.00 was taken out. So I replied to their email that said I had been cancelled and my email bounced back to me. I wrote again and said I was going to report them to the attorney generals office. and then the $2.95 came back to me but the $1.00 charge remained. I wasn't even able to browse the site. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
The selection is poor. CinemaDen Support is poor. a.)I've tried to cancel a dozen times, I never get an confirmation email so it will terminate charges. b.) I've emailed multiple times asking them to cancel my account for me. NO RESPONSE.
Obviously a scam because any REAL business would have better ratings than everything I've seen, and much better support...
So I was going to sign up for this website called filmlush.com. Then I decided to open a new tab and see if there were any other alternative free streaming sites to watch "Game of Thrones" on. I opened one for cinemaden.com. I switched back to the other tab - IT WAS THE SAME EXACT WEBSITE, except with a different name and slightly different appearance, but the descriptions, options, phone number and everything are identical, verbatim. See for yourself. https://www.cinemaden.com/signup?sf=blue_newjs&ref=45956&ad_unit_id=28&smart_ad_id=39&creative_id=235&landing_page_id=2&ad_unit=28&ad_path=/smart_ad/display&ad_domain=ads.cinemaden.com&sub=&clk=1 https://www.filmlush.com/signup?sf=blue_newjs&ref=48625&sub=v7_iWatch_10002671 Later, I found another version of the filmlush website, but the words and page layout were still exactly the same on the signup page: https://www.filmlush.com/signup/?sf=def&start=1 And check it out. I went to the signup page for cineble.com, and this is what I got: https://www.cineble.com/signup/sf/def These guys aren't even trying. I mean, if you're going to continue using your dodgy website to con people by slapping a different NAME on it, at least change the layout and words too. Duh. Conmastery 101. However, they present an official-looking appearance, and if I didn't double check, I might have done it, thinking I would be able to cancel before they charged me. According to some reviews, they can be real ******* ************ *** **** ********s, and maybe I wouldn't have gotten the chance to do that. So I'm glad I checked, and figured I'd post this to help others realize the scary and predatorial ways of these websites. I've been reading several horrible reviews, and apparently "CINAMUSE, CINEMADEN, FILMLUSH, and FLIXADDICT, among others, all have the same ip-address [as CINEBLE]." (caps added) They are all operated by iMovies Ltd, according to the man on this page: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3610449?start=0&tstart=0 Check out how smarmy these guys are: http://www.imoviesltd.com/about.html They say, "We are a lean mean coding machine. We've been operational for about 2 years now, but we've only just begun to show the world what we're capable of. The clients we've had thus far have been extremely pleased with the work we've done for them. So pleased in fact that they keep coming back for more! And of course we're happy to oblige." YUCK. I mean, these guys are slimy. I got sick to my stomach reading that. JUST LETTING YOU GUYS KNOW! I'll be posting this on all the complaint boards for these websites.
I was trying to watch series online when I was lead to think that I had to sign up for this side to see the series. As I assumed that the free membership would allow me to see series for free in a half good quality, I accepted to typing in my card info and picking the 'pay per view' rather than the free (and boy am I happy about that one at least). As I find out that I have signed up for the wrong side, I of course want to cancel my account, or at least remove my card from it. But none of those things were possible using the normal account options and I honestly don't feel good about my card being locked to a side which I have no intention to use. I feel tricked and I send them an email not long ago, telling them politely that it was a mistake and that I don't find it proper that I should pay to have free account cancelled. I know it isn't a lot of money, but I still find it distasteful and wrong. I really wish I could give this site negative starts....
Cinemaden is a complete scam!!! The monthly fee is outrageous and the selection of films is poor at best. You`ll be charged a 0.99 admin fee to cancel. How the employees of this company can live with themselves is beyond me. Use Netflix and stay away from Cinemaden!
I agree they are a scam. I am still trying to get my money back. Even though I have cancelled twice via their email service (and obviously I have as I can't sign in) they have continued to charge me for three months. I cancelled within 20 minutes of signing up after I noticed how poor their selection of movies are. Unfortunately I'm still waiting to hear from them and am considering approaching an ombudsman.
I signed up for free trial, but then cancelled before the 5 days. I have emailed Cinemaden 4 TIMES AND HAVE GOTTEN NO REPLY. I emailed to ask for a refund, so I'm sure that's why they didn't reply. I was charged for two months after I cancelled, and have not been able to get a response, or a refund. I am very upset and disappointed.
Cinema den is a scam and has at the same time a poor selection of movies after my taste. The reason its a scam, is that they charge you nothing the first 5 days and then suddenly automaticly they charge 35 € for a premium membership without asking. (In theory theres nothing wrong with this, because i've signed up for it, but its a bad way to handle customers). Furthermore they charged me 0,99 € when I wanted to cancel my membership. I've seen it before and it stinks! DO NOT GIVE CINEMAN DEN YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
