If I could give zero stars, I would. I am a seller trying to make money on this site, instead I end up losing $113 and the item.

A buyer recently purchased an item from me. I go to ship the label thinking it was a FedEx label, which was what was requested, a Canada Post Packet Surface label is printed.

I should have checked first, but I come to find out that it can take three months for the package to be delivered from Canada to Australia because it is being shipped by boat. Are you kidding me!?!

First of all, why did you automatically change the label, I should be in control of that. And second l, why would you offer shipping that takes three months? No one purchasing an item is willing to wait that long.

I called eBay support and they said they offer the lowest shipping option. Why do you do that? If the shipping selection is FedEx, how dare you automatically change it. And if you do, you should explain why it is cheaper shipping.

This company cost me money when I'm trying to make money, and they will do nothing to help you.

I have pulled my items off this site and will no longer use it again.

Please use with caution. Even trying to find eBay support was difficult. Gee, I wonder why.

Poshmark is so much better, even though you can only ship in Canada. But eBay can learn a lot from their business model.

Seems very much to me that EBay Canada support autobot is totally incapable of understanding simple English help requests. The following is another entire chat log earlier this morning I had when I still not receive my refund from Ebay Canada after 3 DAYS!! I will lose this money as a result of this prepaid credit card becomes expired on Aug 31/26.

THIS USELESS EBay Canada autobot just keeps repeating same item AND OTHER QUESTIONS MULTIPLE TIMES EVEN AFTER I HAVE CONFIRM THIS IS THE ITEM FOR MY CONTACT & THE REASON.

HOW MISERABLE & INCOMPENTENT OF EBay SUPPORT TREATMENT ME LIKE I HAVE COGNITIVE/MENTAL DISABILITIES OR CHANLELGES!!

Ebay Canada is using AI to assess listings under electronics. I have been selling 2 Way Radios for only about 35 years. Ebay Canada's AI claims that I am selling surveillance equipment OR equipment which is not certified even when the labels with FCC and IC are shown. Both accusations are completely false but they keep restricting my listings based on false accusations. I have spoken with a human being at Ebay Canada only to be told to read their electronics policy and that is the end of it. They are guilty of totally offensive treatment of this seller and they just do not care that they are in the wrong. The US site is not so problematic but is now plagued by tariffs.

To be honest, customer service was practically non-existent leaving me pretty frustrated with the whole thing. Would think twice before using again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have two expensive porcelain figurines that I needed to sell. I made a brand new account, created the post and then saved it for later. The next day I got an email that my account and any other new account I create would be blocked for "causing harm to others"??? Explain to me how a porcelain figurine is dangerous to others. I emailed customer service and they copy and pasted the original email. REAL Helpful. PLUS, the 13.5% fee if you sell is ridiculously high. Even if they unseal my account, I will not be using Ebay again which sucks because its the main platform for items like mine in Canada. DO NOT USE EBAY.

These stupid people told me my package will be delivered yesterday. Yes folks thats correct. Tday they told me tday that my package will arrive yesterday. Lol lol.

I bought a combination fuse and relay for a 2007 mercedes gl320 cdi which has the cct board in it overloaded and blown apart accelevator-autoparts sold me the product—THIS COMPANY HAS 100 PERCENT POSITIVE REVIEWS. WHAT A SCAM!

I sold an item on eBay and I purchased a UPS label. After purchasing I realized I should have purchased insurance on it. I tried to cancel but it said I wouldn’t be charged for it unless it was used within 21 days. So I purchased another label and shipped my item. eBay charged me for both labels. When I contacted them they said it was a known issue and that I would receive a refund. When I didn’t receive a refund I contacted them and they said I had to contact UPS to get my refund. I argued but got nowhere. So essentially they have stolen from me. I closed my long time account and will go elsewhere in the future to buy or sell items.

When selling an item, ebay will include taxes before they calculate their transaction fees and then they will charge you even more tax on their own service charge..

A scammer buyer from Slovenia purchased one of my items (about $500). All of my items have a "Seller does not accept returns" statement on each listing.
When I went to purchase a shipping label From eBay, thet DID NOT have a shipping label option with tracking to Slovenia.
I called eBay Customer Service about my concerns regarding the no tracking and wanted to cancel the order. The eBay Customer Service representative told me that I would be penalized for canceling the order, convinced me to ship the item, told me to take a picture of the package at the post office (which I did), and that I WOULD BE PROTECTED BY THE EBAY SELLERS PROTECTION PROGRAM.

Immediately after the package was marked as sent, the scammer buyer opened a return request. Without even attempting to wait for delivery! Obvious signs of a scam.
I AGAIN called eBay Customer Service and the Representative TOLD ME TO IGNORE THE RETURN REQUEST AND REASSURED ME THAT I WAS PROTECTED BY THE EBAY SELLERS PROTECTION PROGRAM.
About a month later, I receive an email from eBay stating that they have ruled in the buyers favor and will be taking $434.99 from my bank account.

I immediately appealed with the pictures of the package with the eBay shipping label and the explanation of what I was told by the eBay Customer Service Representative.

Minutes after sending the appeal, I received an appeal denied response. EBay did not even look into the matter or consider my evidence.

I again eBay Customer Service and the Representative told me they will escalate this matter. Only to quickly receive an email from eBay stating that their decision is final.
I emailed eBay my concerns about this and advised eBay they Are NOT ALLOWED to take this money from my account and eBay is to CEASE AND DESIST ANY AND ALL ATTEMPTS TO TAKE THIS MONEY FROM ME ACCOUNT. EBay tried anyways, multiple times, so I put a stop payment on eBay.

I tried emailing eBay several times to try to resolve this issue, asking what happens to the selling fees and shipping label cost I already paid to eBay on this order. All of my emails went ignored like a guilty child refusing to answer.

I again talked to an eBay Customer Service Representative to ask about what happens to the sellers fee and shipping label cost of this order and would I be reimbursed for them. The eBay customer service representative once again escalated this inquiry, to which I heard No Response.

Several days later I Yet Again talked to an eBay Customer Service Representative and asked again about the sellers fee and shipping label cost. Finally, this eBay customer service representative told me an answer. Unfortunately it was that eBay keeps the seller fees on the sale that no longer exists. That is OUTRAGEOUS and ILLEGAL.
I closed my eBay account! Treating sellers like this is unacceptable, at any time eBay can just lie, cheat, and steal from you.
I had been a loyal customer of eBay's since 2009, and it is absolutely deplorable how eBay has treated me regarding this situation. EBay refusing to return the selling fees was the "last straw", over $81.33 ($66.44 transaction fee + $14.89 eBay shipping label cost), eBay was willing to lose a Top Rated Seller with over $3,000 CAD in sales per month!
I can't help but believe that eBay was in on this scam as 24 hours after I shipped the item, eBay finally put me into their International Shipping Program (after months of requests) which would have avoided this situation. This buyer might not exist and mail to that address could easily be forwarded to the eBay hub, eBay gets free items to sell under a sellers account AND keeps the sellers fees from the scam sale. eBay head office employees have already been found guilty of terrorizing a couple from New Jersey and the CEO orchestrated it all (Google it, it's shocking)
Again, this is absolutely deplorable and a very disgusting way to run a business.
Don't become a victim of eBay, there are a lot of other selling platforms quickly gaining popularity.

I won and paid for an item on auction. Seller did not send and did not respond to my numerous messages. After the appropriate time I contacte eBay. They contacted seller on my behalf and also did not receive a reply. Ebay gave me a full refund.

It's the worst e-commerce company. They made something wrong and put the loss on the customer.

Trying to sell anything is a nightmare. I used to use it all the time 20 years ago and it was great. Now buyers can just walk away if they don’t want to pay what they bid on. Happens about 30 percent of the time. Also, can only leave positive feedback for them? Is this kindergarten where we don’t want anything negative? EBay is a joke, I’m closing my account.

I'm getting the impression..any junk people want to sell online..they stick it here...gotten a few sour deals over the years & months, especially electronic products, and only some have refunded. May have to find other mediums like Discogs, Amazon, Kijiji, etc.

Buyer beware alot of fake gold bars are being sold on Ebay.

The item didn't arrive and now I have to pay 5 more for it. But eBay will not even bother to reply, they've either been very rude or repeatedly ignored me. I don't think I'm asking too much, just to pay what I would have paid had it been delivered the first time and eBay charges a lot for delivery btw.

I registered on eBay to sell one item — a watch. Within 2 hours, scammers started calling me. It has now been over a week and I receive multiple scam calls every single day. My personal data (phone number and email) was apparently leaked or scraped from eBay almost instantly after registration. I also received unsolicited purchase offers by email after simply browsing similar listings. The watch is still unsold, and I'm left dealing with constant harassment instead. eBay does nothing to protect new sellers from this. I deeply regret sharing my personal information with this platform. Not recommended.

When I tried to report the seller for not responding eBay refused to take my Complaining without any reason which make believe eBay trying to protect the seller and not the buyer

I called to change my phone number. Have an account there for 20 years, they just blocked my account because I can't remember the postal code. I provided 10 years of postal code, old phone number but they blocked my account.....don't loose your time with EBAY.
