Hearing Amplifiers seller eBay/lyy1_10
Some time ago I purchased from eBay seller lyy1_10 a pair of BTE digital hearing amplifiers. I received them in working order, and they were as described. However, within a month, one of the units failed. After several exchanges and suggestions, the seller accepted the fact the unit was defective and instructed me to return the item for a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. I mailed the unit back to the China address I was given. Furthermore, I did not purchase a tracking number, as the cost was equivalent to the cost of the unit itself. The cost of the mailing return was refunded to me after I sent a receipt for the outlay, but until the unit was received, no refund or replacement would be issued. When a couple of months elapsed, I was told it had never been received, so I assumed it had been lost in the mail.
Trying to trace the item was not possible since I did not have a tracking number, and after a several month wait, I assumed the return had been lost in the mail. I never heard any more, from either the seller or eBay and decided to forget it and accept the loss. Today, May 5th. 2023, I received in the mail the amplifier I had returned to the supplier in China. There was a sticker attached marked refused. For validation, of this transaction, you may quote my Ebay order number 09-08368-52267. I have a copy of the return refusal sticker for my records.
I deleted my eBay account today.
