Fedex use private drivers, who couldn't care less whether you receive your parcels or not. Even when I sit by the front window from 8 am to 8 pm (!!!) they tell me that I was the one who failed to receive the item by not answering the door, simply because the driver could not be bothered to stop by. They didn't even leave me a card to prove that they had been, they simply told me I was lying.
Fedex also have some of the least helpful and least friendly customer service teams this side of Royal Mail.
Not only will I avoid using Fedex in the future, I will also avoid any company who uses Fedex. I would rather pay twice as much for an item to be delivered on time and in a professional manner than risk using these cowboys ever again.
After some time, I have been able to arrange a re-delivery for my parcel. I will be waiting and watching very very carefully.

AVOID FEDEX AT ALL COST
Fedex does not have a pickup place for packages. They are also unable to use telephones to communicate to you when they will be at your door. I was not home on the first day my arrived, and the only way I found out was by tracking the package, the courier did not leave a message in the mailbox.
I called fedex, they offered me to deliver the package on the next working day and took down my phone number. I stayed home that whole day just to pick up the package, waiting for the doorbell to ring (even tested it in the morning). Later that day, I track my package and see that the courier claims to have already tried to deliver my package and he didn't think to call me.
I call fedex and the person I speak to has an extremely suggestive tone, doubting that I was actually at home waiting for the package and takes a stance with the courier. That person refuses to do anything for me other than having my package delivered the next day, despite that I have already wasted 8 hours waiting for this package because they couldn't give me any estimate on when it would be delivered. Now I am still out of a package and have another day of checking my phone and making ABSOLUTE sure I don't miss any communication, even nonexistant one.
This is just absolutely horrid service, I will sidestep fedex for the rest of my life.
It should be added that Post DK has never ever failed to deliver a single package to my address, and if they do, I have a note in my mailbox and can pick the package up. I use amazon so the address is actually the exact same one, it is just an address I click, yet fedex can't figure this thing out...
Had 2 pakketten in China staan om naar Luxemburg te komen kosten $ 113,-, pakket 1 komt netjes aan in het depot maar nummer 2 gaat naar Italië en blijft daar 3 dagen.
Express, nee dus gewoon 2 weken daar had ik geen dure vervoerder voor nodig gehad.
Gesproken met fedex Belgie en die gaven aan dat dit fout was dus recht op geld terug. Wat blijkt in China heeft men wurg contracten en die ontnemen dit recht en je krijgt dus niet terug.
Ondanks alle beloftes van fedex onderbouwd met telefoon gesprekken doen men niets. Kortom als men iets toezegt hoeven hun het niet na te komen.
Inmiddels andere zendingen maar via dhl laten komen
Benytter dyr transport fra Tyskland, da varerne skulle bruges hurtigt. Pakken kom hurtigt frem - bare ikke til den adresse der står på adressesedlen i det rigtige postnummer.
Pga. interne forhold kunne de ikke genlevere før 3-4 dage efter - alt for sent til at kunne få varerne med til det formålde blev bestilt til.
I have been using fedex for years and never had any problems. i send parcels in Australia and France, they are fast and always on time to collect and deliver. I have used several companies but they are the best! The online tracking is good as well. Great courier that I would recommand to anyone who wish to send a parcel abroad.
I live in Denmark and I have recently, as today, been so unfortunately that 3 things I bought over the internet was shipped to me with this lousy joke of a company.
first parcel, was open by FEDex " somewhere in Europe" according to thier staff at kastrup, Denmark. That is, by Danish law, illegal and subsequently I call the Danish police who is looking into the case.
the second and third parcel was handed out to someone else to lives on my street and Fedex didn't even care when I asked where my parcels was...
Again that is against Danish law and right now i am seriously considering reporting them to the police for the second time I a week!
and suddenly it was my responsibility to get my parcels from whoever they handed them too.

We send hundreds of parcels via other couriers internationally every year and have rarely any problems, EXCEPT both times we have used FEDEX....
The first time we used FEDEX, the fully insured parcel arrived with the customer heavily tampered with and with pieces missing from inside the parcel. We tried to complain at the office, but were given a long and technical reason of why we couldn't do this here and given another way to complain, which was extremely long winded and made complaining extremely difficult and with a very long and unacceptable lead time to get any result. The customer returned the tampered parcel to us, via FEDEX again... and they charged us £20 import fee which it wasn't eligible for as a return but after numerous phone calls they wouldn't waver it.
We then vowed not to use FEDEX again.....
.....UNITL the other day when a parcel was sen via ParcelForce and unbeknown to us, carried by FEDEX. The parcel was then held in customs for over a month because FEDEX had cocked up the customs paper work! over a month later the parcel was returned, the £100+ shipping cost wasn't refunded because it had been over a month since shipping even though it was their fault and now they're trying to charge us another £20 for returning something they couldn't deliver at their fault!!! And then they send all their court threats and debt collectors to you over a £20 you shouldn't even owe them.
Absolutely disgusting service, please people, do not use them. DHL are far superior, they don't charge for returning parcels and they are all round easier to deal with.
Also the paper work that needs filling in with FEDEX is ridiculous compared to other service, and the people at the service counter don't know Jack on how to fill it in.
Havde bestilt nogle varer på nettet, som blev leveret med FedEx - desværre!
Pakken skulle leveres mandag, men i stedet for at sætte pakken udenfor døren, som aftalt telefonisk, modtog jeg en pakkeseddel. Jeg kontakter FedEx telefonisk mandag, da jeg kommer hjem og finder pakkesedlen, og vi får aftalt levering den følgende dag, på en anden adresse. Jeg nævner for kundeservice medarbejderen at jeg kun vil være på den pågældende adresse til kl.14, og hun lover at levering vil ske inden dette tidspunkt. Jeg gentager flere gange for hende at det er vigtigt at de er der inden kl.14, hvor jeg tager afsted, ellers vil jeg finde ud af noget andet, men hun siger at det ikke er noget problem!
Dagen efter bliver pakken leveret kl.15.55 på den pågældende adresse, til en person hverken FedEx eller jeg har nogen aftale med om at modtage pakken!! Den bliver ydermere afleveret uden at der bliver givet nogen underskrift eller fuldmagt!! - dvs. i princippet kunne denne pakke være forsvundet med denne person, der dog heldigvis er ærlig nok til at aflevere den i receptionen.
Jeg ringer senere tirsdag og fortæller at min pakke ikke er blevet leveret tirsdag som aftalt, og da jeg SKAL bruge den onsdag, aftaler jeg selv at køre til Kolding for at afhente den, hvilket i følge kundeservice medarbejderen, ikke er noget problem, det vil hun blot notere i sagen.
Dagen efter står jeg så i Kolding, da jeg endelig (efter at have kørt rundt i 20min. i området) har fundet FedEx kontoret (der er ingen skilte eller andet der indikerer at det er FedEx der har til huse i de pågældende bygninger - kun et stykke karton på ca.50x50cm bag et tonet vindue), og får af vide at min pakke er blevet afleveret om tirsdagen, og stadig ligger på den pågældende adresse!
Alt i alt en elendig oplevelse af FedEx, med mange fejlagtige informationer og brudte aftaler/løfter, der har kostet mig meget tidsspilds og ekstra ressourcer, og har betydet at en vigtig aftale måtte aflyses, da pakken ikke var kommet rettidigt frem!!
Har jeg et valg, når jeg fremover bestiller produkter på nettet, vil jeg ALDRIG bruge FedEx som kurér, og vil heller ikke råde andre til det - kan se at mange ligesom jeg, har haft dårlige oplevelser med dette firma!

forstår ikke alt det negative...jeg havde bestilt et par sko fra kina, jeg fik et tracking nummer, så jeg kunne se hvor min pakke var henne, pakken kom som forventet 12dage efter bestilling(fra kina) og chaufføren var meget venlig:) alt i alt et godt selskab:D
Sent a parcel via Parcelforce Global Express on 19th December 2012, Suppose to deliver via Fedex in Moscow.
My parcel was passed onto Fedex in Moscow on 25th December 2012 according to Parcelforce and they told me to Phone Fedex quoting my Tracking number to them.
I phoned Fedex and it took 23min 44seconds on hold to get through to their customer services who stated used the ref given and could not find my parcel, then they asked for the address I had sent my item too. Customer services then fobbed me off saying they can not find my parcel using Parcelforces tracking number and they need a reference number which they gave parcelfoce when collected by them from Moscow.
I contacted parcelforce for the fourth time regarding this situation and they have told me they do not have a ref/tracking number from Fedex and in all the years she been working within customer services they just use the same tracking number with was given to me from day one.
so to date, I have paid on the 19th December £52.95 for a 1KG parcel to be delivered in Russia within the deadline of 6 days and still nothing, No Parcel , Neither Parcelforce/fedex want to help or can give me any infomation to why my item has still not been delivered on time and has now taken over 10days and still not arrived at its destination!!!
PARCELFARCE/FEDEX USELESS!!! once they have your money , they do not care or bother to help you find your parcel in any way!!!
UPDATE - 31th Dec 2012 ,Item still not delivered and parcelforce said they would look into the matter and phone me back , still not contacted me !
UPDATE - Parcel delivered after parceforce contacted Fedex to find out they had only written half of the Russia address on their Fedex Delivery Form and stuck this over the Full address I had given them in English and in Russian. Then Parceforce contacted me with a ref number and asked me to contact my Russia friend to contact Fedex Russia to make sure it gets delivered.
My friend contacted them and OMG , they delivered the parcel on 5th January 2013!!
19th December 2012 - 5 January , Express Service, What a joke!
Let's start with the positive: In most cases Fedex will do what they promise to do. They deliver a packet from A to B in a matter of days for the agreed upon price.
For my company I have used Fedex to send more than 100 packets. 4 of these packets have failed.
The reasons for the failures have been:
1) "The Fedex warehouse burned down. We are sorry."
2) "The packet is stuck in the customs. We are sorry."
3) "The weight of the packet was scanned optically, you need to pay triple"
4) "You filed the airway bill the wrong way. You need to pay extra VAT"
In each of these cases I am sure, that fedex was wrong and I was right. I should not have been billed, and/or Fedex should have compensated.
In each of the cases, I have complained. Then fedex have send a new invoice. I phone in and talk with "customer support". They make a case. Two weeks later I get a new invoice. I email and phone to Fedex. Each time i contact fedex, it is a new Fedex employee who cannot find any case number, and therefore I have to explain from scratch. After a few more weeks they just send a new reminder, this time with a threat.
In the cases 1-3 I have decided to pay in the end. In case 4, I did not paid and Fedex have blacklisted me as a bad customer. They have NOT taken me to court, as they threatened to do. They have probably considered their case too weak or the bill (350 USD) too small.
Fedex has no customer service. It is a choice of their company management.
We use a number of Couriers including FedEx. Out of all of them FedEx is our favourite.
The drivers are friendly and they always pick the parcels up when they say they will. To top it off the delivery speed is fast. 1 day to get from the UK to the US!
Its the most bad company i ever use and i will never ever use them even its for free.....
The worker here in Denmark they are foreigners and they work so bad.

So basically I was going to get a package delivered from US to EU, to be specific; Denmark. But oh no, apparently their "delivery guy" didn't feel like driving by my house, so I never got the package.
So we called in, and he told us it would be there before 6 PM (GMT +1) guess what.. CORRECT! No package.
And after reading probably thousands of customers who never got their package after first delivery failed I am becoming more and more sceptical. What a mess.
STAY AWAY FROM TRUSTPILOT!!!

I ordered a gift for my boyfriends b-day but sadly had horrible experience with delivery. Firstly i lost whole day on waiting, and when i saw that they left me card without calling me or ringing the door i raged. There was NO CARD left where i live, so i had to go to FedEx to pick up my parcel by myself on next working day. Lost £10 on shipping and oyster, for sure never gonna order anything from there again unless u change shipping method.

Jeg ringer ind og en auto stemme fortæller jeg skal taste 1 for service på dansk dette gør jeg så og venter ca 10 minutter så høre jeg en engelsk talene kvinde, hvor jeg så siger jeg tastede 1 for service på dansk hun undskylder og siger jeg ligger på og du kan ringe igen ringer så igen og taster 1 hun tager telefonen igen og jeg fortæller hende det ikke kan være rigtigt hun arbejder der hvor man får service på dansk.... Jeg havde også en anden oplevelse igår ringede ind og spurgte hvorfor tidspunktet på min tracking hele tiden skifter, først stod der 28 sep. Også stod der 29 og igår stod der 1 okt, hun sagde at hun kunne se den skulle blive kørt ud nu, og du vil modtage pakken inden kl 18, jeg har dog ikke modtaget noget

Ja, så mener FedEx, at det kan de ikke gøre for - men det kan de - for hør bare - min datter modtager en rykker, der ser ud som om den kommer fra FedEx, og de skriver at hun ifølge et faktura nummer (meget langt) skylder (ca) 350,00) - og hvis hun ikke betaler hurtigst muligt kommer hun i RKI. Brevet er underskrevet e-mail adressen: email@example.com - Vi skriver til FedEx, at Margritt IKKE skylder nogen penge - og hvad skulle hun have haft købt? Hvornår? - Nå, FexEx ignorerer e-mailen, som vi ellers prompte sender. I dag har vi så modtaget et brev fra Intrum Justitia hvoraf det fremgår, at hun nu skylder DKK 660 - og er havet i RKI. Hvad f....n sker der? Stop det!!! Det er synd for unge mennesker, der lever på SU - for det er min datter, det drejer sig om. Jeg regner med at høre fra FedEx og Intrum Justitia
Hvis du skal betale en faktura - altså moms og afgifter, så undlader de at sende fakturaen til dig - og "nøjes" med at sende en rykker med trusler om RKI registrering. Hvorfor kan jeg ikke få en faktura i rette tid....jeg har rykket og rykket...og så sender de til den slægtning, der har fået gaven...og så er hun pludselig registreret i RKI. To gange har vi/jeg fået pakke leveret af FedEx - og hver gang med store problemer - og nu RKI registrering - og vi er helt uskyldige!!!!

...Hvis man skriver et brev på én side, hvor der blandt andet står:
"Deres konto hos os vil blive lukket. Sagen vil blive sendt til inkasso - og De vil så komme i RKI".
Hvad er sandsynligheden for, at man ved, at det drejer sig om:
1) Betaling af moms og afgifter for en gave.
2) Hvorfor skulle gaven ikke afhentes på Posthuset, så den glade modtager havde en chance for at betale det, som afsenderen skylder.
3) Hvorfor sende et brev, der ligner en falsk faktura, når man blot kunne skrive i overskriften "De skylder betaling for moms og afgifter.
4) Hvor stor er chancen for, at slægtningen, der har en sund økonomi vil betale de DKK 340 - frem for at se slægtningen ryge i RKI.
5) Det er altså mafia-metoder.
We all get things wrong but when we do you put your hands up to it. I had a parcel sent paid for 24hr delivery they sent to the wrong place when I said they sould refund me they could not understand why. As I explained you did not give the service you were paid for. they refused to make any compensation for their mistakes rubbish company rubbish service
My absolutely worst experience with any delivery ever!
So I orderd a watch from www.Tokyoflash.com
And they sent it right away. I used the track and trace option to keep an eye on my package. Could see that Fedex close to where I live had it on the track and trace. ETA on delivery was 6pm
I rush home from work to make it before 6pm, and I made it!
So I waited and waited. But no Fedex. Checked my track and trace no new information... Then at around 7:30 pm they updated the track and trace saying the delivery was attempted at 4pm, but the address was incorrect... Completely stunned!
I checked all my information, and yes it is correct info...
Kinda amazed over they claim inccorect address. I look it up on google map and check once again.. All my info is correct.
Then I desided that my only choice was to contact them and inform them about where I live since they have such big problems finding it. But the phonelines are closed from 18:00
So they close before am even home from work. It then gave me a number to call, for outside normal hours.. That was closed aswell... !"#¤"#¤ Then I desided to send them a E-mail. But that been well over 2 days. Still not even a response.
Than I wanted to "Live chat with them" kinda my last option.
Ended up doing the live chat thing, from work. And i FINALLY got a live person to talk to. He or she took all my information and forwarded it to the correct center "I hope" They then informed me that they would try delivery the NEXT day... NOT today the next day... This was like 9am in the morning... How.. I... But... What ?!...
So yeah, still waiting for fedex. And right now I kinda doubt that I ever will ressive what I orderd...
Tbh am a drop in the water, and Fedex might do thousend and thousend off deliverys. But this kinda thing telling a costumer they don't live a place where they VERY CLEARLY do. Should just never ever happen. Maybe I got a lazy driver thinking he could take a early day off. And just say: Inccorect address. Maybe he just could not find it... What ever the case. It's a GIANT failure.
Le livreur se pointe chez moi le 4.09.2012 je suis absente, il me téléphone me dit je vous laisse le paquet en hauteur, je rentre chez moi 1 heure plus tard, le paquet complètement détruit des lunettes à 150 euros!!! Je fais une réclamation chez FEDEX France, ils répondent que j'aille me faire foutre ce n'est pas leur problème, le vendeur a fait aussi une réclamation à FEDEX avec demande de remboursement je viens de recevoir leur réponse FEDEX ne veut rien savoir. Si vous avez un moment regardez la vidéo d'un livreur FEDEX il balance un colis dedans il y a un écran par dessus le portail, voilà ce que FEDEX fait pour ses clients de la merde, si vous avez le choix prenez une autre entreprise de livraison

This company is absolutely useless run by a load of cowboys why people don't use Royal mail more often is beyond me and out of all the alternatives this lot of morons are the worst even worse than Yodel would you believe and they are rude with it,if I could give them half a star I would,had I known my amazon order was coming through them I'd have paid extra for Royal mail,but at least I know next time,ovoid this company at all costs.
En laaaang historie som jeg forkorter meget her. De har haft min pakke i næsten 3 måneder. Jeg har snakket og skrevet med dem nogle gange, hvor jeg hver gang har fået forskellige beskeder fra dem, om hvorfor pakken ikke er afleveret.
I fredags ringede jeg igen til dem og vi aftalte at jeg skulle være hjemme hele den efterfølgende mandag hvor de ville komme. Så her har jeg spildt en hel dejlig sommer ferie dag på at vente forgæves. Jeg kontaktede dem igen og noget var selvfølgeligt igen gået galt.
Jeg har nu droppet at få pakken.
I will spare you the very long lists of complaints we have against Fedex; such as a complete lack of trustability, communication, wrongful information, delays and so forth. What made us terminate our business account with Fedex was that despite the huge amount of extra insurance we paid to make sure that our precious goods being shipped from the US to DK was insured against dammage, Fedex has declined to replace an item that was broken during Fedex' handling. It is completely unacceptable, and we will never use the services of Fedex again. Stay away from Fedex.
I took a day off and waiting for my items to arrive from Germany. I was tracing the parcel live and at 12pm they decided to post that at 8:48am I wasnt at home???? i spent the following three hours trying to speak to someone who could help me until they said "sorry you will have to wait until tomorrow" . my front door was wide open since 8am as i had builders in the flat so where the driver actually left the card beats me??? cusomer service? friendly on the phone but that s all it is, dont expect any help. Will wait again tomorrow.

My local FedEx depo is in some remote village with useless opening times, and no way of reposing elsewhere.

Which lead be to try and re-post it somewhere else, something which is apparently not possible to do.
This relates to FedEx in the Uk.
There is a major problem in that this is a franchise and the depots insist that "they are nothing to do with FedEx". This is backed up by there being disastrous communication between the Customer service team and the depots. The depots don't really believe in answering the phone so one is forced to ring the main Customer Service number who promise delivery etc. Thing is, the communication to the depot does not get through. End result - many hours on the phone, being cut off regularly, on hold too long, and no delivery.
Sort it out FedEx. Your brand is going downhill.

Ikke alt er gået snorlige, men jeg oplever generelt en god service fra deres kundeservice når jeg taler med dem. Meget hjælpsomme med hurtige tilbagemeldinger. Dog kan det sommetider gå galt for dem i logistikken. Men for det meste kører det fint.
I'm not pleased with Fed ex since they left the food in the back of my old SUV and jammed the door mechanism which gave me a problem to deal with. I had told them they could leave the food in the shed where it is parked,, but never told them to touch the vehicle. I don't want that to happen again. I need this addressed.

Havde en garanti-reperation hos Dell. Ingen problemer med fejlsøgning o.s.v. Dells beskrivelse af proceduren virkede fin nok. Først ville der blive leveret en transportkasse, som dernæst ville blive afhentet den følgende hverdag.
Blev ringet op af en automatiseret telefon hvor der skulle vælges "1 for mandag, 2 for tirsdag" Jeg valgte mandag
Kassen kom, vi pakkede den og jeg blev hjemme fra arbejde hele mandagen uden at noget skete.
Ringede til hotline, 3 valg og en samtale senere hvor jeg bl.a. skulle finde et 12-cifret kundenummer som ikke var markeret kunne de endelig finde mig i systemet, ja der skulle være hentet inden kl 18. Desværre ikke "Men i morgen mellem 8 og 12.15"
Blev afhentet og fragtet til Tyskland til reperation. Returneres efter en lille uge.
Fik igen besked på at levering kunne være alt mellem 9 og 18, heldigvis skulle min kone alligevel være hjemme.
Ifølge tracking var pakken på bilen, men da jeg ringede halv seks fik jeg igen at vide at pakken ville blive leveret inden seks. Ingen levering.
Næste dag stod der på tracking at der var lavet en "Future delivery request" = løgn.
Fredag gentog succesen sig - ingen pakke, jeg ringede flere gange til "service" og fik at vide at pakken ville blive leveret inden kl seks.
Klokken 19 stod der så på tracking at der ikke var nogen hjemme 12.51.
Meget muligt, men der ligger ikke nogen seddel i min postkasse. Der er ikke blevet forsøgt at ringe til nogle af de telefonnumre jeg har opgivet som kontaktmuligheder og trackingen er helt vildt misvisende.
Jeg er meget lidt imponeret, og håber aldrig, at skulle have noget leveret med FedEx igen.
