[REPLY]
We have an employee holiday this week and last week I placed an order for gift baskets through Figi's. I checked out with a few dozen gift baskets and selected a delivery date of 5/6/13. Got the confirmation. Then Friday I received a call that they were short 3 gift baskets and I needed to select a different one for those -- a pain, but not too terrible. I told the customer service associate the basket I wanted to replace it with and that was that, or so it seemed.
Come Monday morning, I find in my email an out-of-stock notice, as well as a shipping email that says they will arrive on 5/7/13. What? I call Figi's and apparently there was no record of my Friday call where I selected the gift basket to replace the out of stock ones. I told them again which one I wanted. Then I asked about why the baskets that had already shipped would be here a day late. I was told I didn't pick the right shipping. Okay, but on the Figi's website I selected "Arrive on/before 5/6/13" and two options were available, so it's their mistake for making an option available that's not correct. To their credit, after I said this about 3 times, they agreed to issue a credit for the shipping.
However, the three replacement gift baskets are not going to get here until 5/8/13, meaning the full amount of our gifts for employees won't get here until two days after they were supposed to.
Will not be using them again.
I placed my order I received an email stating that I would get a confirmation email when it was processed. 4 days went by and I received no email, so I tried to log in to their website, their website had no record of me or my transactions or even of my email address. I called customer service, they said there was a small problem with my order and that it was on hold until I cleared up confusion with my billing address. I asked them why no one called me to let me know there was a problem with my order, they basically said "I don't know". This order is very important to me as I'm sending it to someone recovering from a serious surgery. I asked them if they would get it shipped by the time I needed it, they said "we can't make any promises". They still have not even cleared the charge through my bank so I've had the $40 pending from them for over a week now and it still hasn't gone through.
NEVER AGAIN! Divine Delights are way more expensive but the peace of mind is worth the cost.
SHAME on Figis
Second (and last) time I order from this company. The let you choose a delivery day and both times the order got there over a week early, so I felt obligated to send an additional gift closer to the date of the actual holiday. Their response: they ship so all gifts arrive BEFORE the chosen date to avoid late arrivals. So why do they let you choose a date??????? Also the items pictured look much LARGER than the actual gift. My bad- the small print description clearly states that these are actually more like sample size gifts. Sticking to Hickory Farms or local gift baskets for value from now on!
You just cant pay the entire bill off on one order account they string you along'
They make you stay current on each order.
Like i say when you have seperate items at walmart you still just pay on
one balance FRIGIS MAKES YOU PAY ON EACH SEPERATE UNTIL YOU ARE CURRENT.
i THINK THAT JUST A HORRIBLE POLICY TO INCREASE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS
THEY NEED TO LOOK AT THEIR POLICYS AGAIN.
I Purchased a small Chrismas cake for my sister it was a joke for close to $ 30.00 Dollars it was something small enough to be a Kids EASY Bake Cake, if you get my drift .
Thanks Dave
it was fun to get the box of meats and cheeses. the food was tasty and arranged nicely.
if your order shows up ever ,you wont be able to eat it not like hickory farms very good guality. buyer beware figis not good quality and their satisfaction guarantee non existant!!!
Received a rum cake 7 days late. It was old. Could not eat it. What a waste of $$$$.
Keep This Short and sweet: First order good, back in September 2012. Fact is need to pay it off completely, and get out.
Then came a Christmas Catalog, and your all in the same boat so to speak and I am now aboard.
First, I am a marketing, sales , Internet only. Company name withheld for now.
If I pulled misleading ads, with fine print that I can escape out of. I would most likely under new laws ,find myself in a court and possible heavy fines.
I am not slandering , only stating truth and fact. The big word in internet business. " INTENT".
Hope You all have a Good Holiday Season Anyway. Note: I am not an attorney and do not claim to be. JLR
A gift from my brother arrived last night...I would not have even known who it was from, but finally found his name among the various labels on the outside of the box. It was chocolate covered cherries and several had broken in transit and inside was a nasty sticky mess...a tiny bit of syrup goes a long way. I called Samantha at customer service and believe she must of been sleep walking....no response except sorry. Then I emailed customer service and told them the info I had including Samantha's lack of concern. Reading the other reviews, they probably get a lot of complaints and it is now like water on a duck's back. I received an email back from customer service and they can't find my shipment....maybe because it was from my brother, NOT ME as I told them.
BTW, the chocolate covering the cherries must be more paraffin than chocolate...very little flavor and they do not melt in your mouth. I wish I could tell my brother all this, but he ordered it in good faith. I would like to know why he sends me garbage like this and our aunt usually gets a gift certificate to See's Candies from him.
I was a Figi's customer for years. Not any more. And I gave them an opportunity to fix the problem, twice in fact and they wouldn't plus they were quite rude about it. Their website promises a replacement, refund or credit. Don't believe it. I'll never order from them again. With so many great businesses out there, why would you even want to do business with Figi's??
Unbeleiveable!!!! Another great company has gone bad. I have dealt with them for 15 years and they were always perfect. I ordered on 12-15 four shipments to our customers. They promised delivery by 12-17 with expedited shipping. I made exactly 14 phome calls and the is what happened. They didn't acknowlede it until 12-17 at 8 PM. At this point I had made call number six asking why they didn't acknowledge this, they always said they didn't know. When they finally responded it showed that it was standard ground due to arrive too late. Call number 12 was to the corporate office 8 AM 12-18. They said they were aware of these problems and would cancel the yet to ship order and send it next day air to keep me happy. How nice of them! 12-19 call 13 and 14. They never did anything and I was told it ship today standard ground and they were SORRY!!! Go to their website and see the customer satisfaction guaranteed statement. BS!!!! I have ordered a total of five shipmnets and they actually got one perfect. I quess those that post how good it went were the lucky ones. 1 out of 5 of mine was good. Order and see if you are a lucky winner!!! I won't. I quess next year I will try China!!! No wonder we out source!!!
I placed my order with Figis 1st time. Box of chocolate for $20 after coupons. I asked to make list expensive shipment. I was very surprised when i have got invoice with shipping coast $21 it's for box of chocolate?! probably there is hidden fees, but customer service should tell me during order the total amount. they did not. they refused to cancel the order. Bad service and they trapped me with charges. Outrages. Will never again use them.
I have bought from Figis before as gifts for people and they have not complained so I thought they were good. I did buy some of those little loves of bread and they were so small that I bought something to go with them this Order came to our house and the can of Pretzels and the can of Cashew nuts were both dented so they can not be given as a gift. The Peanut Brittle and the Bridge Mix was ok although my husband said the only real nut was one Brazil nut on the top of the candies. Only one. Also, the shipping is pretty steep. I will make sure if I order again I will have it come here and send it back if it is inferior. Your product is to expensive to not be good. Sondra Wright
I received a $39.95 Figis package yesterday. I opened the outer box, and it looked OK, but I wondered who sent me this assortment. I read the "Gift for you" card, and it stated: "The sender's name is listed on the address label on the outside of the package".
I looked at the box, and in the upper left corner it said: "Happy Holiday's & Season's Greeting's Pete, with nothing else. The type set was only as big as a grain of rice. The senders name should have been shown below this greeting.
I called today at 9:05 (local time) and talked to a lady, telling her my circumstance and that all I needed was the person's name that sent this package to me.
She found no record of any package even being sent to my address. She assured me that a supervisor would look into my problem, and call me today before 5:00 with the answer.
With no reply phone call back (as they had promised), I called "Figi's" at 4:45. When the lady answered, I requested to talk to a supervisor. She said perhaps she could assist. I gave her the whole long story, and yes, "you guessed" it, she could not tell me my mystery sender either.
At that time I again requested to speak to a Supervisor. She put me on hold, and about 2 minutes later, a gruff voice came on the line and said: "This is Joe", nothing else just "This is Joe" in a very gruff way. I asked his last name, he gave it to me reluctlany. I could tell he was in a very bad mood, buy his tone.
I once again (for the 3rd time) told him the story. He said he needs the packing slp number or the order number on the label. I asked him where was it located on the label (top, middle or bottom). His reply was he didn't know. I asked him to go get a lable so we could talk together. He said he was not in that department and the lables samples were not available. He was getting rather rude and insisted that the "only way" to find the sender was to find that number. I gave him 3 different numbers, but they were the USPS bar scan code numbers.
The company does not keep records of people receiving gifts, only the "Sender's" names.
I asked for "his" Supervisor, he gave me her name(Charity), but of course she had already gone for the day, even thought it was only 4:00 in Wisconsin.
I guess I'll tear off the label on the box and mail it to them, and perhaps they can tell me who gave me this $39.95 box of cheese & sausage.
I'll keep you informed what the outcome is.

I usually am satisfied with my orders but my order of (3) 13 holiday classics was patheticly small. Think twice before ordering this
With my Diabetes, I'm already sweet enough so Figis sugar free candy is made just for the likes of me. Many pepple are diabetic . Figis should advertise it more !
I give the sugar free candy a great big 5 stars.
when i opened the free gift box that came with my order , I was pleasantly surprised with the extra touch which was 2 pieces of candy{hard} it was unexpected and thoughtful, i was delighted.
Ordered your popcorn Halloween assortment, I made the mistake of showing it to the family, it is already gone and they want more! Couldn't ask for a better snack!
I used this website while I was in US, was pretty satisfied with the service.

I ordered valentine's day chocolates for my mother from Figis on 2/11. I paid $32.00n for "by valentine's Day" shipping. They dropped the ball and didn't even ship the order until Valentine's Day. On their website there wasn't even a trace of the order on "my account" page. The order showed up two days late, after I had to purcase local chocolates for her. They arrived broken from being stuffed in a small tin and pushing down on the lid. I contacted a half assed customer service center that was outsourced to India. I couldn't understant the man. After a half hour he agreed to only refund the "rush shipping" portion of my shipping. The shippng I paid was $32.00 but he said only $18.00 would be refunded. Well, it never happened. I emailed them. They sent an email saying they would refund $18.00- still have not seen anything. Order was way lay due to them sending it several days late. Product wa shipped from them damaged. Customer service is a joke. Please stay away from this lace. They are NO GOOD. I think they were taking orders they knew couldn't go out on time. They just dont value their customers Period. order#11-60437-0000
My experience ordering on the phone was very good and pleasant. The packages arrived in the time-frame I requested (4 "other" addresses) and 3 packages to me.
I did not care for the Moo Mix, but the 3 cheese-nut logs were a big hit at our New Year's party. The small packages to give as gifts were well received and appreciated.
We got a gift from family from this company and it was the absolute worst quality food we've ever eaten. There was this Apple Date breads that looked like a small loaves of pound cake. As best we could tell there may have been 1-2 pieces of date or so in each loaf. We tasted a slice of one of the loaves expecting to at least taste a nice apple flavor. Instead our taste buds were greeted with a disgusting dried out pound cake flavor -- no apple flavor at all and no dates in the slice we tasted. We just discarded the rest. There were Carmel Apple Nougat Fluffs that tasted like that had an unusual texture and taste and were also minus any real descent apple flavor goodness. We each ate one (3 out of the 6) and threw the rest out. The picture on their website showed four other candies, which weren't even included in the gift pack (perhaps their website photo is out of date or the product was incomplete, not sure which). We haven't even tried the two small jars of the apple cinnamon jelly. However, looking at the top ingredients being corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and water, our expectations are extremely low as far as taste and quality for that as well -- especially given our experience with the balance of this gift pack. We've received gift packs from Swiss Colony and their quality and taste is always consistent and good. Do yourself (and your friends and loved ones who you may be considering giving a gift to) a favor and shop from Swiss Colony or Harry & David's (also great quality) and avoid Figi's. This is a "bad news" company with "bad quality" goods!
I use Figi's to send my Christmas gifts out however I had not gotten anything from them in the past my inlaws sent us a very large package and the hard candy was melted and stuck in one big lump, the chocolate is white around the edges. I was so shocked I only hope that the orders that I sent were in better condition than this. No it was not melted because we are too hot here havent seen temps above 45 in several months so don't let that be your answer.I won't take a chance next year I will buy my gifts so I can see them and ship my self. Your shipping is very steep also.
I placed a order on 12/06/2011 for a gift to be deliverd on 12/23/2011 and the gift never made it there but My credit card was charged. I called and spoke with a customer serv rep who was very rud and uncaring. I requested to speak with a supervisior, we spoke and she was to call me in 24 hours and never did. I called and spoke with another supervisior, and all he could do was either cancelle my order or fill out a form and track the order which will take up to 48 hours or more because he had to do everything by email to the vendor. On line it showed my order was at the supplier on 12/28/2011 so it was never sent. He could not even find who the vendor was. When I asked if he could give me a call as to the ststus of the order, he stated that he could not do that, he said that that was not doable that i would be contacted by email. After the embarssment i went through I will never order from this company again. Their customer service is crappy, they have no control of their vendors, and they can't come through with their products when ordered 3 weeks in advance plus they take your money when the product is not shipped. I cant find a corperate phone to call them and I cant get a hold of anyone else but their customer service to complain. This is not a good company to count on for gifts.
If I could give them lower than one star, I would. Terrible customer service. They sent a confirmation of my order to me and shipped a totally different item. I called cs about the error and was told I called in and changed the order....I never called them. Then I was told an "authorized representative" of mine called in, sorry I don't have one of those. I was then told a letter was mailed to me about the order change, really....a letter at this time of year, what was wrong with my email address or the phone number on file??? Well, I did receive a letter and they ran out of the item and took it upon themselves to ship what they wanted. Never again will I use them. My mom also placed an order and was the recipient of the wrong order, she will not use them again. The issue below about running credit is true, I was told I had an account, I demanded it be closed immediately as I had never authorized any such account. This company is walking a fine line when it comes to fraud and unauthorized transactions.
I LOVED THE THE STRAWBERRY AND BLUEBERRY TORTE. THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS. I LOVED THEM SPREAD ON ENGLISH MUFFINS, OR TOAST, OR BAGELS. AND THEY WERE SO GOOD WITH RITZ WHOLE WHEAT CRACKERS.tHE HONEY NUT CHEESE TORTE WAS AWESOME. JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF HONEY. LOVED THEM ALL THREE. I STILL DONT KNOW WHO SENT THEM, BUT THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU WERE. GAIL LEE
I received the gift package from my daughter today and the box it was shipped in was open at both sides, and appeared to never have been closed properly. Why don't you make sure the box is taped so that it can'[t open during the shipping process?
None of the items in the box were in their proper assigned places but were all just jumbled up together in the middle of the box. Very poor customer service as presentation is part of giving a gift. I plan to tell my daughter never to order from Figis again as last year we had the same problem.
I ordered the products which were delivered to me, that was o.k. But, on the catalog I used, it says 6 free gifts with ANY ORDER. When I called to check why they didn't give the my free gifts with the order, customer service replied, (You didn't give a source code, which is written on the catalog, when you placed the order), (so they wouldn't send the free gifts, and they put in a generic source code in) this was an AUTOMATED SYSTEM ORDER, which I know if they asked for a source code I would have provided one. After all, they are FREE GIFTS, with any order. My order was $50.00 and it's just not worth it to not get your moneys worth. I will never order from this company again. With this economy, they are ripping you off!! In many ways....

Hi!, I'm hoping the representives at Figis are reading this too.Every year at this time i recieve some gifts from your company. To me they are Delicious.I'm probally the only one I know that enjoy's Fruitcake besides my daughter Elizabeth. We both love it. We usually get the round ones. But for the past two years the've bin coming in a box only instead of the tin they use to come in, now there not as fresh and do not last as long. So i am writing to you to see if you can possibly, go back to shipping them in thier tin again. This would be very thoughtful. Thank you

What about the fact that the cheese is extremely poor quality and the company preys on the elderly and house bound for customers?
I want to start out by saying that I had always enjoyed using Figis in sending gifts to loved ones who live far away. But after this week, I will not be using their services again.
I tried to place an order on their site for 2 days & the website kept malfunctioning & would not process my order. Knowing that I was running out of time for shipment, I called Customer Service, who couldn't be more incompetent or lackadaisical. It wasn't til I threatened to use a competitor that she agreed to look up my saved contacts to help me place the orders. She never offered me any of the promotions noted in the catalog & online, plus I had to remind her of the free shipping when she quoted the price. I never got the email confirmation as requested & couldn't access my order on their website til 3 days later.
Once I saw the order, there were mistakes and I called Customer Service again where they claimed they couldn't fix the issue. When I asked about the promotions I was due, they claimed I wasn't eligible. Never once did they offer a credit, refund or any kind of retribution, even though it states they should with their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Save yourself the headache & order from a company who actually provides the service they claim to offer. I know I will in the future.
sent an email on 12/15 stating my initial concerns (noted below) with no direct response to my concerns or request. After finally being able to review my order on your website today (since I never received the email confirmation I requested) I noticed that one of my orders has the name grossly misspelled. When I called customer service, they said they couldn't fix it & there was nothing they could do & it will be shipped "as is". Given your 100% satisfaction guarantee, shouldn't I have been offered a refund on this particular order??? I also asked about the Free Gift promotion, which I did not receive. The CS rep told me that I was ineligible for the offer since I used the Free Shipping. No where in your catalog or order form does it state that its an either / or promotion. And again, I was told, "sorry there is nothing I can do".
Not sure if there has been some change in management or policy, but I am appalled by how I have been treated by your company this week.
I was very pleaseed with my oder it arrived when they said it would and everything was in good condition. I've dealt with them before and never had any problems and am looking forward to ordering again.
Thanks you made Christmas shopping easier this year.
Sincerely R. Woodrum

TO ALL PEOPLE CONSIDERING PLACING A HOLIDAY ORDER WITH
FIGIS CATALOG
3200 S CENTRAL AVE MARSHFIELD WI 54449
Although I live in Florida, I thought I'd throw a little business to my home State this Holiday Season and order from one of the many FIGIS catalogs I keep getting in the mail. Because I am diligent to keep my credit score over 700, all these catalogs I get offer interest free payments begining Feb 14th, pre-approved, of
course. Usually, I don't charge things but with family out-of-State, I thought it would be convenient.
So, I went online and started placing individual orders because you get $10 off for each order over $25. My orders totalled about $300. There was no bigger discount for one large order, so I did them separate. And that's the way they checked my credit with each order, over and over, with all three credit reporting agencies,
without my social security number and without my permission! Over 6 hard inquires were made! If I had known this, I would have never ordered. I only allow inquires if I'm buying a car!
Today, I received 4 individual letters from FIGIS. One, telling me they will ship my order (to be delivered by Christmas), the Second, that they will ship my order (again to be delivered by Christmas at my request), a third, telling me my order was rejected because my credit report showed too many recent inquires, and a
four, stating the same thing.
So, I called them to cancel everything as I'm more upset about the credit inquires and the damage done to my credit rating than anything else. I asked them, why would you run a request with a reporting agency not only once when I gave you no permission, but over and over? I asked them to cancel all the orders, placed
just the other night, and not to be delivered until Christmas, and, to remove the numerous inquires placed just minutes apart from each other.
The answer?
Hang-up.
The answer after I called a second time and explained all this again?
No, we started processing the order and we won't cancel it. I asked to speak to a Supervisor.
hang-up.
The third time, when I got a Supervisor on the phone. The answer, after I threatened to call the BBB?
"O.K. we'll cancel the orders" (which we had to go through individually) and with them refusing to give me a confirmation number. So one can only hope.
But my main issue, how can you run numerous credit inquiries (several to the same agency within minutes of eachother), without permission or a social? And I want these inquiries taken off my report. Kathy, the Supervisor, said: "We don't need your social, just a name and address. And no, we will not remove the inquiries. So, there you go, Merry Christmas from FIGIS!
Tomorrow, I will call the BBB. In the mean-time I will use the Internet, the great equalizer to let you know,
DON'T EVER ORDER FROM A FIGIS CATALOG! 800-422-3444

The company failed to get the package delivered. Period. They lied about the shipping time frame, damaged the product, finally reshipped in a manner that was 2 weeks late and ultimately could not be delivered because of their choice of carriers and method of shipping. All in all, it was a totally unacceptable experience. Buy Harry and David's or ANY OTHER vendor.
I ordered 2 of the *same* item, shipped to 2 different folks, on Dec 15th 2010.
One shipped on time and arrived when expected(12/20). The other was "out of stock" and the order placed on hold, right before Christmas. it is currently 12/21 and I am told that the order was filled, and placed on a truck, which will leave "today, maybe tomorrow". So in essence, I placed an order near Christmas, and they waited 6 or 7 days before shipping it. Up in the air at this point if this Christmas present will arrive on the 24th, or the 27th. Customer service basically repeated "Shhhhhyeah, nothing we can do."
Had I known that the order would be so long delayed in shipping, and that I would not be notified that it was on hold, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Which I will do in the future. Order with a more reliable company.
